If no money has changed hands and no sexual acts have occurred, call hotel security and let them sort it out. If police are called you will likely end up in detention and heavily fined, or be forced to pay an even larger bribe.

Most hotels are likely to have many illicit acts occurring in them every evening, and don't want police attention which will deter Chinese mongers from using their facilities. Many posters seem to forget that Chinese are great mongers and outnumber westerners by a factor of probably 1000 to one. And then add the Hkers, Taiwanese, Singaporeans and Malaysians who travel to China specifically for cheonging, and the number of westerners pales into insignificance.

In summary, read the advice of experienced mongers on these forums and don't follow the advice of newbies and pretenders.

And "You have to understand the Chinese mind"! Are you some sort of guru on the mentality of all Chinese? Where did you gain this knowledge? Did you live in China for 10 to 15 years and can understand the contextual nuances of the Putonghua and the many dialects? Somehow, I don't think so!

Regarding the recent flare ups, I have no dog in the fight, but I think the 200 rmb is not grossly inaccurate, especially for the locals. What you get is the most unerotic pumping for 10 minutes or so. I do not know if the place I had this "I want to forget" experience I had when you first arrived in Shanghai was strictly a BBS, It was a a parlor in the Chángdé Road, Chángshòyou Road area. MP. Girls keep clothes on. She gives you a full body massage usually with oil. While giving you a massage, you can touch and fondle her while she teases and arouses you.
