So this is my issue: Somehow accidently (long story) I booked a room in the Sosua Bay Hotel. And yep, right. I have an AI room. Now I read, that the AI part of the hotel is not girl-friendly at all, so I'm wondering which options for our all favourite sport do I have? Had the hotel give me a wake up call at 7 am so I could hit my tour of 27 waterfalls. Man, it was so hard to get up but I'm glad I did cause I got to see the country side of the DR. This country is so beautiful. I had no idea it was this beautiful, from the women to the land, this county is the shit! Before we hit 27 waterfalls we went through the mountains to sightsee. Got to see the country and how the people lived. I loved throwing out candy to all the little kids running towards our bus. It was very cool. I also picked up some dominican coffee (hope when I get back customs dosent think I'm trying to bring in drugs). The coffee tasted really good, I like sweet coffee. Pickes up a 2 foot cigar too! Going to fill it up with the good stuff when I get home! LOL. Ate lunch in this hut in the mountains. Probably the best dominican food I had so far. Too bad it wasent closer to sosua cause I would eat there everyday. 27 waterfalls is beautiful. Just as we got there it started to rain and it felt like walking through a rainforest, though I never been to a rainforest. It was really fun, probably the most fun I had out here besides fooling around with the chicas. The tour stopped at burger king on the way back. It tasted just like back home I was impressed, but I was kinda of dissapointed with myself cause I promised myself no fast food on this trip. But what the hell, nothing like a greasy fast food hamburger!

Hey Grand, Can you tell us some more about the 27 waterfall tour? How long was the tour? Did you have those crazy jumps from 30 feet into a pool of water? Any equipment you would recommend buying before you go? Was it a tough hike? Would you do it again? Etc.
I went there by scooter. Its about a half hr scooter ride past puerto plata on the left side of the street on the main road. You park your scooter then you walk about a mile from the main road. It truly is a slice of paradise. You can climb the falls and jump from the lower ones. Its kind of dangerous, the wet slippery rocks. If you are older and not sure footed maybe pass on it and just enjoy the views. Right below the falls there is a huge pond with strange fish in it that eat fruit. I've never seen a fish eat fruit before. There is a little bodega there for of all things beer, snacks and water. Your prepago will fall in love with you if you take her here. Je je LOL. Bring small bills as well for tips.. I remember there was a lot of tipping involved.
