Also, don't let the name fool you, it is a nice hotel.
Also, very important, when you make a reservation, ask for the newer rooms--it will cost a little more, but it is worth it. When my friend from the U.S. stayed at the hotel last month, he paid $75 a night and he liked it.
Hotel girls come in several varieties. Most are Chinese mainland girls and the charge is 700. 900. They usually speak little or no english. Chinese girls that cost over $1000 are usually local girls. Who command this price because they speak Cantonese and the local guys are hoping for a LTR. Skip the local girls. There are also Koreans, who tend to cost about $1,000, and usually speak some English and can be very good value. There are often a few white girls. Usually Russian or some other Eastern European who cost $800. 1000. The high end are Japanese girls. They cost as much as $1, 500, and many are absolutely stunning. The photography does enhance reality a bit, but they may be some of the most beautiful women you will ever sleep with. However, many seem highly clinical in the process, and leave me feeling a bit unsatisfied. Modern medical science has also enhanced these girls to the point where they do not feel natural. All in all, the Japanese girls are a worthwhile one time experience.
That xxxxxx website employs a very skillful Photoshop person. I once had a girl who had an entire abdomen tattoo (12 inches by 6 inches) photoshopped out of her photos. Be careful if you only see studio pics instead of photos taken in the actual hotel room.
Also, I think it is worthwhile to note that the "Japanese" girls advertised on that website are more likely from somewhere else (like Korea). At least that seems to be the consensus on the Chinese language boards. Of the dozen or so I tried, there was only one that I though could have been Japanese (a dead giveaway is the Korean-language cometics & toiletry). Nonetheless, they are mostly stunners, but YMMV.
Just a quick one guys, dont like to beat around.
Normal bars - FUCKING EXPENSIVE!!! 50HKD/Pint!! WTF?!?!!??! (coming from china ;) )
Titty Bars - Found one fun one from the lot of them, Kings Club. 25HKD for a beer and all Thai birds. Nice!!! Rest of them are full of shit girls and arsehole Honky Mamas!!
To conclude, great time but Hong Kong is very fucking expensive. Carnegies, 6-7pm, 25HKD/pint stella, carlsberg, etc. best deal in town!!!
A bit off-topic, but if they are charging 25 HKD for a pint of anything, then this is close to a loss leader for them during this happy hour. The problem with the price of booze in HK is the very high rate of tax the HK Government collects. Even though the tax on beer and wine (but not spirits) was cut, somewhat, in the last Budget, the suppliers have not really passed these supposed savings onto consumers, and bars have done next to nothing to lower prices. (You should check out the miniscule size of a "glass" of wine in some restaurants: there is also no standard measure of wine and/or spirits in HK, and the institution of one is STRONGLY resisited by the powerful catering lobby.)
This is a rip-off, certainly, but tobacco is the drug of choice for most of the population of HK (read: Chinese) not alcohol, so there is not much incentive or pressure to do anything about it. And that's why the tax on cigarettes continues to be relatively low compared to that on booze. Even though the Government could quite realistically make more money by proportionally reversing the tax (low tax on alcohol, high tax on tobacco) they are too afraid to do it, just as they are chickens$$t about most things.
Even private clubs (which are susidized by member's subscription fees) are typically charging 28-30 HKD a pint for locally brewed Carlsberg. Makes those ladies' drinks seem even more extortionate.

Even in the states, a beer at a pub is gonna cost more than that, unless you're drinking Pabst or something. Of course, 50HKD for a beer is highway robbery.
Cheapest way to drink in HK is pop on over to the 7-11 and buy a 4-pack. Should run anywhere between 22HKD - 30HKD depending on what brand you prefer. Take it home and drink it there. Alternatively, you can take it to your favorite 141 girl's place and drink with her there (my preferred method of cheap drinking).
First of all, I didnt mean to complain at the 25HKD/pint, I thought that was a great deal, especially for stella which is 35rmb in China in the cheapest place i know.
Also, Cosmopolitan Hotel was Girl Friendly. There was a guard at a small desk by the elevators but all she had to do was register. No charge, but the girl was real scared in case they pass her P'port number to authorities. I told her it was just to stop her robbing me. The next night, the guard wasnt even there and the two girls we had, got up hassle free.
Did I mention Neptunes II wanted 150HKD for me and my friend to enter? No thanks, despite what ive heard about the place!! And yes, I do realise that locals and regulars were getting in for free, but that was one thing I didnt particularly like about HK; Bouncers on doors!!
Sid,
I don't frequent the bars, but you are correct, there is no need to pay cover charges or whatever. HK is not Japan where everything is more difficult and expensive and restricted for the gaijin. However, Hong Kongers will rip you off if they think they have half a chance to do it. Don't give in--there are too many choices here to be taken advantage of. Tell them to go fuck themselves.
I had just return from Trip to China, I had a nights stay going and coming from the states.
Arrive Tuesday 9/25 in the morning, went to hotel and got cleaned up, spent the better part of day doing tourist stuff. Onway back to Hotel stop by Sticky Fingers for a beer. Ran into some guys from US, suggested I come back later. Came back around 8 PM, bar was packed with lots of guys and about 15 girls. Most were fairly good looking 5-8's. Unfortunately I was seated at the bar next to the most obnoxious person I had ever met. He insulted everyone and he would not leave. So there was no place to move to so I left.
On way back to Regal Kowloon in the courtyard between it and Grand Staford I was approached by Mamasan who had 5 girls in tow.
I was tired and gave in with out bargaining 800HKD, (sorry I am newbie to this board) and I should know to haggle her down on price but was just to tired. Girl was very nice and I had typical treatment, showwer, massage and almost GFE experience.
Once I got to China, I told my host about this, he warned me not to do this because in HK some girls might call police and claim you attacked them. Is this true? I have read this board and not seen any warnings about this.
On my way back from China, I had overnite in HK again, this time however I did not get back to hotel until 12:30 1:00 AM in morning. I was not going out. However next to evelator in regal kowlloon is coffee shop. As I walk to elevator from front desk, I was met by a nice smile from Susan. I could not resist. Another 800HKD and repeat of Tuesday nights activities
As I mentioned I am newbie and only get to HK once or twice a year. This board is valuable resource, thanks to all the frequent contributors.

Live here long enough and you learn you can't respect and appreciate the bouncers enough. I, for one, am extremely happy with them. They are very efficient of getting drunk rude dickheads out of the clubs quickly and breaking up cock fights. Also they are generally nice guys to talk to.

We very rarely see any fights up here in the bars. Admitedly though, it is clear that when you have so many WGs in one place, theres always going to be trouble whether it be Male/Male, Male/Fem or even Fem/Fem.
Anyway, I still dont like bouncers on doors. Nothing wrong with having security staff discreetly watching the crowds, but if they expect me to pay 10 GBP to enter a night club in asia, I dont expect any prejudices from a $2 HK Hardman!
Peace:D

Bouncers also serve another function. Ever notice there aren't many Mainland Chinese girls in Neptune/Fenwicks? Suppossedly the local police have some sort of agreement to keep them out. They don't mind non-chinese girls.
Also when its busy they keep the fuglies out also.
It would be too tough to let anyone into Neptunes/Fenwicks and just wait for something to happen and then have the bouncers deal with it. The bouncers are at the door to limit potential problems on the male front and to satisfy local triad/police understandings on the women front.
The bouncers do a good job of keeping things under control and most of them are pretty good guys. I feel sorry for them when the Navy is in town, they really earn their money then.
As for cover it should not be a problem just walk right in past the bouncers. If you are a western guy you should have no problem unless you have some obvious issue like you are absolutely hammered or you did something really stupid in the bar before.

Came back from Taipei and stayed one night in HK. Due the booking situation in our regulat hotels my company booked a room in the Fourseasons for me. Nice hotel, very US style. I followed the hints of ISG and visited the lounge and blue bar, but didn't find anything interesting.
So I went at 6:00 pm to the IFC mall, looked around, went to the cinema cafe, Pacific cafe and Mcdonalds, but also no luck. So I headed straight forward to Fenwicks. It was my first time at Fenwicks. It was full of girls and guys. Like some of you said before: It was like being in a candy store. There were some 9er, and a lot of 7er and 8ers. Shortly after entering the place some girls smiled to me, but I didn't react immediately. I had a beer, and wad happy to take a look to the scene. There were some girls I was interested in. Therefore I looked forward to a hot filipina, but she wasn't interested in me because she was already in business with another guy. But her girlfriend approached me and we chatted a little bit. Her name was Sharon, 20yo. She asked me if we can have dinner together. And I told her, yes and also a little bit more. We agreed finally about 700 HKD + taxi. So we went for a very nice dinner in a restaurant in the IFC mall. At 10:00 pm we moved to my hotel room.
We showered together and she wanted to test the tube. Was quite funny to see Sharon playing around with the bubbles. She was a 8, slim, well trained. After the bathroom session we went to bed. CBJ and fucking in several positions. After a rest she wanted to go, but we negotiated a second session for add. 300 HKD. This time I gave her a full body massage, than some 69 and a nice BBBJ. Finally some fucking again. She was always quite, sometimes breathing heavely. No fake moaning. No condoms with her, I needed my own stuff. Loved to stay with her. She left at 7:00 am in the morning. Total: 1000 HKG + 100 HKD taxi + dinner.
Would do it again.

Which idiot told you to go check out IFC Mall? If you ranked girls at Fenwicks at 6pm as 9s, you should have stayed until 11:30. You would have seen some 15teens !!
