This thread moves so fast that I can't keep up. There must be more posts here per day than any other thread on the site. I'm still 4 pages in arrears. Got a long flight to Thailand tomorrow though so I will catch up then. But after those 21 hours I'm sure there will be at least 2 more fresh pages.

First time trip reports are always the best because their usually is no concern about what others think. Its raw, unsensored and honest. Very boring day for me. This was the first time in sosua that it rained very heavily for me all day. I would have went to cabrate but it was raing so bad I just decided to stay at the hotel. I woke up at 1 again and went to get something to eat, then back to the hotel. Mostly watch tv and youtube videos. At dinner time went to get something to eat then back to the hotel. Sosua sucks for me. Maybe if I started my trip here then went to sd I probably would have like it better or if I had friends with me. At 11 I decided to go to the bar and get a drink but boardwalk empire came on so I didn't leave until 12. Went to the sports bar and got a drink. My dominican friend saw me there and we started chatting. I told her about the bartender at rumba and how she acted, blah, blah, bah. At 1 we were pretty hungry so we decide to eat at the food stand next to rumba. Rumba was dead but every other bar was popping for a Monday. The bartender was sitting at the bar and she saw me at the food stand and perked up. I told myself I wouldn't talk to her but my weakness gave in and I went up to talk to her. She was all over me. No matter what country you are in, no man can figure out these fucking women! Anyways told her I was leaving tomarrow and that I will be back in January just to see her. I told her I really don't like sosua except for her. I was putting it on pretty thick. I told my dominican friend I was leaving Wednesday cause I knew he was going to ask me for some money on my last day. When we were talking he told her to go out with me on her day off which is Tuesday. I was like fuck, now she wants to go out with me on the day I am leaving. Bad luck. So I told her I would pick her up at 6pm and head down to Cabrate to go eat, knowing the whole time I was leaving in the morning. I made the date cause I didn't want the dominican to know I was lieing to him. So at about 2:30 I gave her a big hug and left back to the hotel. Today I had fabio call her and explain that I didn't want the dominican to know I was leaving so he couldn't hit me up for money and that I was sorry and I will be back to sosua to see her jan. Everything was all good, she understood. But I'm glad I'm leaving sosua so I can have fun in SD and bocha chica. Next time I'm here in sosua its not going to be more than 3 days unless I'm fucking the bartender.

I should have advised you better on the girl. Some Sosua girls who work in bars, clubs or restaurants don't like to date in Sosua. They have a good girl reputation that they don't want exposed. You should have suggested the Cabarete date from the beginning. Even better is a trip to Puerto Plata and the Malecon. They want to see that you are different from the average Sosua tourist. Also being linked to the Dominican dude surely hurt your chances, because she thought you would tell him everything. Have fabio get her email address or phone number for you. Before you go in January text or email her telling her that you don't like Sosua. Tell her you are staying in Cabarete and want to spend all your time with her (wink). It is quite good on the Apple iPhone or Ipod touch application, as you can just speak into it and it returns the phrase spoken and written in Spanish. I don't use it as I don't need it, but you could have a conversation with a chica with it. Chica I am seeing is going to English classes. In anticipation of my upcoming trip (12/6) , I joined Badoo. I set my location to Puerto Plata so I would be set to local chicas. If you describe the Chica at Rumba for me, I am willing to do a sort of discovery for you and see just how much of a good girl she truly might be. I had a similar experience at Merengue where I tried two different barmaids on separate occasions with little success. I felt I really came close, but I slipped up somehow. I think I will try the dinner in Cabarete angle. I do understand how you feel. The desire for a non pro (or as close as one can get in Sosua) can make those putas unappealing.
