Frankly at that time I wasn't expecting to see much other than the layout of the area so can't really comment further. Do a google search on that name and Jakarta, and you will find more information some of which will likely give you pause about visiting.

I did see one thing on one internet discussion suggesting it was scheduled to be closed down a month or so ago, but there was no confirmation this actually happened.

But this is not to disagree with you, just to note I am a bit surprised and perhaps have some delusional friends.

As long as we are on the subject, what would be considered a decent tip these days at the Kota places, e. G. , those off of Pangaran Jayakarta (Sari Ayu, LA Bar, etc.)? I usually tip 100,000 these days, a few years back 50,000, and during my transition to 100,000 I often left 70 or 80000. I believe my friends tend to tip around 100,000 nowadays. I do remember though one girl at LA Bar telling me a couple of years ago she usually got 100,000 to 200,000 but I thought she might have been exaggerating to try to get more than 100,000 from me; she didn't seem unhappy with 100,000 though.

But whenever I discuss with the other guys (including Indo guys), it's not really true. The tips do not vary among different venues in kota where the price of the girl / room is similar. There is no difference between the places you just mentioned and the tip you leave at Hotel Classic, Hotel Travel, or any of the kota places where the girls cost less than 500 k to take for the hour. The average tip is between 50 and 100 k. 100 k if she was good. 50 k if she was only ok. Zero if she was terrible or wanted to use a condom for the BJ. If she gave you a fantastic sesson, 200 k tip is up to you, but that's overtipping for sure unless you are paying her extra for some kind of special service like anal.

The more expensive places vary more. In the places where the price of the girl / room is 500 k to 1 million, 100 k is a standard tip, you can give 150 or 200 if she was great. For girls / room over 1 million, 100 k is still acceptable, but they are used to getting 200 k or even more if they are great.

That is for either locals or bules.

It is in West Jakarta. You can see it from the Jakarta inner ring toll road.

Coming from the airport, heading south in the direction of the city, it's on your left, shortly after the turn off to Jakarta North.

On a map, it's next to Kali Angke, at the back of Jalan Panduan II.

Is it legit for foreigners? Depends. If you are comfortable in Indonesian and street smart. Being a local monger area with small back street alleys, it is not a safe place.

Having said that, not safe, at 150 to 200 k ST, it's likely one of the best value bangs for your buck in Jakarta. And joining a few local mongers for a beer can be fun.

Hi Guys, I had a layover in Jakarta and stayed at the infamous Classic Hotel which I highly recommend. Pulled a beautiful 37 kg (that's 81 pounds for my American friends) 32 D, yes, the Cup, named Keyza, from the third floor and pounded that tight pu**why real good. Sadly she would not let me take her picture even when I begged her with more money. I was hoping she would come to my room after her shift ended but alas no luck. From the video I have seen of the place it definitely looked to be not set up for foreigners, but then again it was a foreigner making the video. The Indonesian guys outside the places generally seemed a bit shocked to see a foreigner but not aggressive or anything untoward like that. The guy managed to get a ST onsite without any problems. Obviously the proper precautions would be needed etc.

Yes, the girls who are considered more "stereotypically" beautiful may be more stuck on themselves. However, if you know a bit about Jakarta, you are looking for some adventure and the cheapest price in town, you can check it out. I don't really feel in danger anywhere in Jakarta relative to other countries. I think it's one of the safest cities in the world. Is Kalijodo down market? For sure. (that's why it's so cheap) People will not speak English there. And just like anywhere in the world when you go to any down market area, you need to assess your environment and keep your eyes open. But the taxi can help point out the safer places and the places with pretty young girls. And the price can't be beaten anywhere in the world. The best thing about kalijodo is every taxi in town will know exactly where it is. If I tell a taxi to take me to Kings Cross, they are highly unlikely to know where to go. But if I tell them take me to Kalijodo, they will absolutely know where to go. And they will know why you want to go there. If you can speak some indonesian, you shouldn't have any trouble getting the taxi to help you find the right spot.

I personally don't mind spending a million rupiah on a girl for an hour in a 5 star environment like Malioboro. So it's not my cup of tea to spend a lot of my time in kalijodo, and I haven't been there in a while. But if you are on a budget and like to live on the wilder side, you may like it. If you can find a buddy to go with you, it will be even better.

However, I am always interested in other people's experiences, and if I missed something would like to know. So, Egy could you please elaborate on your comment you never go there for safety reasons, i.e., what specific dangers are you concerned about?
