He is saying that clubs on the dark side or clubs not in the tourist areas may not be slower during low season because they are not in tourist areas and the regular expats keep them afloat. Some dark side dwellers rarely come into central Pattaya. Boomarang and Lenke are in the tourist areas and will most certainly be impacted during low season. For example, I was in Maggie Mays and Buzzin lounge on Pothole and even though there were some regulars there, the girls were complaining. However, what was evident was that they were not complaining as much as girls working in the go go bar or on Soi 6. In general, gents clubs will always have a steady stream of regular expat clients no matter what area the club is in.

I went to Catflaps last night.

That way I can come back and enjoy my beer in peace until I invite the girl over I am interested in. I paid my bill and I left the server 11 THB and tipped the girl who give me information 20 THB. The Cmdr was ballin on a budget today: 100 THB out the mother fucking door.

Before spending 2500 baht, I can spend 10% to see if we gel. Also, I find that negotiations for increased service levels go better when she's got a drink in her hand. Before that point she doesn't know if you are fishing or serious, and is likely to throw out a high number to catch a sucker. Now she knows I am not an amateur and my breath doesn't stink, the price will be more in line with the going rate.

I will add that there is one situation where I buy a lady drink first thing: If I am in a totally foreign place I will sometimes find mamasan and buy her ONE drink for information. ONE, and I hold up one finger. I tell her I am buying information with that drink. I will NOT buy her another. She can tell you all of the house charges and rules, etc, and if you are lucky she can identify girls that will indulge your personal preferences. BBFSCIP, titty clamps, rimming, whatever your kink is.
