I prefer the Marriott, but when I can't get the $118 rate (due to a convention or some other short term demand situation), I find the Tim Boutique and the Areca Lodge as more than acceptable alternatives with substantial savings thrown in. All I really want from a hotel / motel is girl friendly with a security safe, clean, quiet, and a good swimming pool.

Marriott 4.25* around $118 – good hotel and location. Great swimming pool.

Tim Boutique 3.5* $66 – not as good as the Marriott but pretty good. Quiet, friendly and nice rooftop pool.

Areca Lodge 3.5* $76 for the 60sq meter luxury family suite. Acceptable motel style hotel, huge room with good pool and interesting location.

Pulling two Devils Den girls will run you 6500 alone overnight, or $215. I don't think a pair of Baccara girls are that far behind either. Earlier in the day and before this I can see myself taking a couple BJs at 700x2= $50 So that is where I am coming up with these numbers.

I know a lot of you guys are pulling freelancers and some lower end girls so I understand why the costs I quote seem pretty crazy. The flip side is I don't see this as a frequent topic on these threads meaning few need a plan to live the way I describe.

Why is a $50 place is not up to par with a hotel? I have seen plenty online in the 50-$60 range that look pretty luxurious and there are posts here from people who have been there to back it up. The penthouse comes to mind and Sea me Spring. At this time of year the costs seem reasonable.

In Pattaya, you are talking about 40+ thousand women, and many different venues. The open beer bars, gogo bars, the regular Soi bars, the free lancers at the Beer Garden, Bamboo, discos, and Beach Road. There are so many options it will make your head spin!

The Penthouse has rooms at all price ranges, so no issues there.

There is also Soi 6/7 for fun and giggles. Don't sweat it; just go and have a fucking blast!

Day 5:

Started out the afternoon with the Happy Ending massage lady at "The Best." Figure I would take the edge off right away; why wait! Later, Ian and I decided to hit up some clubs; boys night out.

Started out at Iron. We sat in the middle of the place so we could check out all the action, but the real hotties were in the back of the club. And there were quite of few hotties throughout the club! They also had some outstanding pole dancers on the back stage. There is a tub in the middle of the place and there were a couple of girls that were really good at working the rings above the tub. One of the girls would go from ring to ring with her feet while doing splits; fell in love with her.

Next up Baccara. Got there just in time for the four girl lesbian show. It was actually choreographed quite good. Happy was next. We were seated at the stage, got our drinks, and then watched beauty by beauty dance by us. But at one point, Ian asked me,"Are you as bored as I am?" And fuck, I was! I mean once you have been to Babydolls, Windmill, Iron, and other clubs like those, Happy seems extremely tame and it takes time to readjust to the tameness; we left after one drink.

It was Saturday night and Iron, Baccara, and Happy were all packed and I was tired of the crowds, so we headed to Relax to chat with Miki and to play with some of her girls. Plenty of room and just enough girls to keep us entertained. After a couple of hours, we headed back to Ian's place, Sin Bin, which seems to stay open 24 hours a day.

Day 6. Burnout Syndrome has Arrived!

While sitting, eating, and drinking in Sin Bin in the late afternoon, I wanted a massage, but I was just too damn lazy to get up and cross the street. So I had one of "The Best" girls come across the street and give me a neck and shoulders massage while I sat in the seat which my ass seemed to be glued into.

Later in the evening, I decided to stop into Walking Street Disco, because I've never been there before. I tried to get in the place over a year ago, but they would not let me in because I was wearing flip-flops and shorts, which is my "Uniform of the Day" in Pattaya. This time they did not seem to care what I was wearing. Unlike the I Bar, which seems to cater to the younger crowd, WSD seems to cater to the late 20s and early 30s ladies, which was fine with me. And there were many women available.

While in WSD, I ran into a women that I met at Sin Bin, named Pa, her part-time boyfriend just left to go back to Europe a couple of days ago. She was with a cute, but kind of a butchy looking girl. We started doing shots while chatting and dancing. Pa said that she wanted to see and touch beautiful naked women and she was sure I would know where to find them. I was shocked that she thought I was that kind of person; yeah right! So off we went, first stop was Iron.

We sat in the middle and the girls seemed quite happy. Pa said she wanted to buy 3 different girls lady drinks and she said that she would pay. My guess is that the European left her was some decent money. She pointed out the girls to the server and automatically, the server grabbed my check and was going to add the drinks on my bill. I stopped him and explained that Pa was paying for the drinks; not me. Well, he tried to grab my bill again and I told Pa to explain to him that she was paying. She said,"I already told him!" I replied,"Yes you did, but you told him in English! Both are you are Thai, right? Tell him in your language dammit!" That seemed to work.

Pa talked and played with the 3 girls and anytime I got near, she would smile and yell,"They are all mine!" After about an hour, we moved on to Baccara, but it was late and the upper stage was not operating. The 3 of us sat in the comfy chairs at the stage. At one point, they let the upper stage ladies dance on the lower stage. And the girls were cute, but nothing when compared with the main stage ladies. Many of them don't get barfined and I'm sure make very little money. So I decided to buy 1000 baht worth of ping pong balls and let the two girls throw them out. And the girls were very considerate and caring when throwing the balls out. They made sure each girl on stage all received about the same amount of balls; I was impressed.

We decided to end the night at Relax where both of the girls decided they would get up on the stage and dance with the other girls. Pa proposed that she would strip on stage if I gave her 1000 baht. I told her I could fuck her for 1000 baht, so why in the hell would I want to pay her to strip on stage! Another spinner in the club kept me company while the girls were on stage acting foolish. It was well after two and the barfine was half price, so I grabbed the spinner, said goodbye to the girls, and headed to the loom for jacuzzi / rack operations.

Day 7/8:

Day seven was a complete blur; not really sure what in the hell happen that day. I do remember going into Walking Street Disco and exchanging a few phone numbers. I also stopped in the Bamboo Bar a couple of times; another freelance place with live crappy music.

Day eight I made my rounds to a few of my favorite clubs, and even thought about giving The Sprinkler a call for some more juice follies. I ended up in Iron and barfined one of the performers that I really liked for ST, which turned out to be 2-3 hours. Mamasan told her that she had to return to work, so not to drink too much; yeah, that happened! We were doing tequila shots the entire time in the loom, but I give her credit, she seemed to handle the drinks quite well. The girl was a lot of fun in the loom. She surprised me when she threw up my legs and planted her tongue in my ass; I yelled,"BINGO!" She failed to make the connection.

On the way to Peppermint to make good on a promised barfine tonight, I was a little early and stopped in at Iron for the first time this trip. Sat in the back and there was a group of about 8 dancers in white lingerie. I couldn't stop staring at a very tall very slim sensual dancer.

I walked up to the stage and gave her 100 Baht tip and thought that was the end of it since I was going to leave for Peppermint. Her set ended a minute later and she came and sat next to me. Her English was limited at best, but I did understand her name, that she was 19, and from Udon Thani.

Trying to make some conversation, I asked her how long she had been working at Iron. Next thing I know she stands up and brings the mamasan over. The mamasan 'confirms' that I want to bar fine her long time and that the barfine is 1, 200 and the girl gets 3, 000. I was stunned, but after thinking about it for a second, I thought why not.

So I pay for my Coke and the barfine. Never got to the point of buying her a drink. She changes to a nice dress and we are out of Iron. She is very affectionate on the way to the hotel and says how much she likes farungs.

At the hotel she tells me to shower, then half way through she joins me. Not a kisser, but otherwise good in bed. We finish and I clean up. After she comes out of the bathroom she gets dressed. I've had runners, but this one surprised me. Then with a sweet smile she asks for 3, 000!

I tell her 3, 000 is for long time and this certainly isn't long time. I mentioned that the mamasan said 3, 000 long time and utters one word, 'morning' and climbs back into bed with her clothes on and unmutes the television. She rests her head on my chest and puts one arm around me. This girl can change her demeanor in milliseconds.

On my notebook I use google translate to tell her either stay and take your clothes off, or leave and that I will talk to the mamasan tomorrow. I offer 1, 000 to leave. She tells me short time is 2, 000. I tell her the mamasan never mentioned short time 2, 000 and she was only here an hour. She gets out of bed and grabs her phone and I think perhaps tried or feigned trying to call her mamasan. I take 1, 000 and tell her to go. She throws it back on the bed and heads out the door but the door doesn't close. In half a minute she is back in the room, getting into bed and wants me to unzip her dress.

I've had enough. I use google again to tell her to go and that I'm calling security to take her out of the room. She gets up starts crying a little. I take the 1, 000 and hold it out for her. She takes it, mutters something in Thai, but all I could make out was her name and 'tomorrow' and then leaves.

With her antics there is no way I wanted her to stay until morning. I figure that 1, 000 for a great lay from an Iron performer was a good deal. Still not too late to go to Peppermint for my promised barfine. All is well that ends well.

A reminder: Still the simplest means of transfer to Central Bangkok from Suvarnabhumi Airport is to head up to 'Depatures', drop-off area and wait for taxi. Ask the driver to run the metre, should not cost you more than 400b at most.

Seems more than enough for my many beers, bar girl drinks, meals and 1. 2 pops a day. I have used the ATM across from the Hot Tuna Bar (next to what else; 7-11) on walking street and never had any problems. As noted, $100 and $50 bills US, bring the highest exchange rate. Supposedly, using a debit at an ATM gets you a better exchange rate than using a credit card. Just make sure you let your bank know the dates your going so they don't cancel your card.

It looks the same as it did before. There is a tub on your left when you walk in, and there is only one stage, it is big and the girls have to climb to get on it. All of the seating is elevated so you can see everything that is going on throughout the club.

The big difference would be that Mamasan Miki owns 50% of the place and she is proud of it. I've known her for 10+ years and I know she really cares for the girls and the customers. After 2, the barfine is only 300 baht. She has some hotties working there and her head server, Nid, is one of the best servers in the country, IMHO.

But do check it out for yourself and please report back your thoughts.

But all silliness aside, you actually asked a pertinent question.

Personally, I always take a girl back to my room on a LT basis. For starters it is just more economical. For the small extra price you pay, you get to enjoy her a whole night, which of course translates to a few pops before going to sleep and once more in the morning. There is no time pressure as she does not "calculate" to go back to her bar and score another ST and besides I really like to have a cutie next to me, even when sleeping. It is much nicer than cuddling my teddy-bear at home. :)

Of course, you run the risk that she is a starfish or even downright nasty, but I never had such disappointments yet. Maybe I am just lucky or perhaps I have great pre-session interview skills. That is the reason I pick my ladies from agogo-bars: you get to see the wares, for the price of a lady-drink you can chat with them and explain your wishes and even sample already some of her charms. The way they move on the stage, the way they chat with you, the way they react to you, ... All these things are invaluable to gauge their "value".

Actually, my best sessions happened when the girl more or less chooses me rather than the other way around. I am a fairly unassuming guy and one of my talents is to disappear in the background, like a human chameleon.
