All are close to th RLD. 5minute-10minute walking time MAX. The Grand Kras and Roode Leeuw are closest, about 1block away. The RLD is a bit too sketchy for me to stay there at night. Never found a decent to nice hotel in it either. I know you said budget hotels, but I'd highly recommend paying just a wee bit more and look into the hotels I mentioned. By the way, the grand kras has the most amazing gourmet breakfast buffet ever! A wake and bake must!

Like I click the girl of my choice, and it brings up another website which brings up another which brings up another. All the phone numbers say SMS text only. Not to mention I noticed that they were using fake pictures for one of the models. Under zuzana.comthe girl named "Bello", well those photos used are actually victoria secrets model Alina Vacariu. Red flag had me wondering if I should use them. They have some hotties tho and a few european pornstars I'd love to fuck. Prices seem to be good too.

Thanks for your help.

Jay
Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky is the nicest, closest and if work are paying it does not matter that it's one of the most expensive.
Hotel Krasnapolsky,

Owned by Heineken.
Ask for a canal view room with a balcony.
The Grand is located in the heart of the RLD. Also has swimming pool, steam room, health club. This building dates back to 17th century. Did not eat in the restaurant there but supposed to be good. Again, request a canal view room
Hotel Ambassade is perhaps a 10 minute walk from main RLD. Consisting of a series of old Canal houses. It is like walking back in time. Has a library, sitting areas. Breakfast is expensive 18 E, as I recall but was of top quality and enough so that lunch was not necessary. Again, request room in front, over looking canal.
No pool but hotel owns Koan Float, a few doors down, where you put in a capsule and float, suspended in salt water. I was skeptical of this, for years and then finally tried it. It was amazing, super relaxing particularly for jet lag.
Anyone can use this faciility but reservation is suggested.
Have fun
