I am experienced in the PI but do not know this area. I am not afraid to go to where the Pinoys go. I am just not interested in some flaccid floosie who thinks that just because she hangs around the Rock Hard Cafe that she is worth a $100 a pop. You know what I am sayin'? Any recommendations?

If you're looking for low-cost accommodations near global city, you could try to hide in the American military cemetery and sleep among the grave markers, or plan to stay some distance away and travel to global city. This is not an area to look for budget hotels.
