Metro Station / General Osorio
A few weeks ago, I wrote a question in the forum about the closed Metro Station located in Ipanema. It will basically be closed for approximately 10 months as of this past Feb. However, we are talking about Brazil, so It could be a bit after December. Here is a link with the info. Sorry, but it is only in Porto.

It is a bit more complicated than General Osorio
The Cantagalo Station is also semi closed since the trains from that station go from Cantagalo to Siquiera Campos and back to Cantagalo only. I found this out the hard way while taking the metro and having an appointment. Hence, if you want to go to Centro and you take the metro from Cantagalo, you must transfer at Siquiera Campos if you left from Cantagalo to continue your journey to Centro. Talk about efficiency, geez! So basically, the trains leaving from Siquiera Campos are the only ones going to Centro and beyond.

When is Rio going to grow up?
Banning these vans is a good thing.
I go to Barcelona and the only place I can get a taxi is designated taxi stands.
If you want to stop being thought of as a third-world country, then you have to stop behaving like a third-world country.
This means everyone, not just a few progressive thinkers.
