I was away on holiday from Jan. 16-Feb 25. Believe it or not I missed HK, but certainly not (mainland) China. In fact the only time I ever become home sick for the US is when I'm in the PRC. During my trip, I spent 18 days in Angeles, 2 in KL (beats an 8 hour layover), 10 in Phnom Penh, 8 in BKK and 1 in Pattaya. Yes this IS an HK forum so I will give reflections on these places in comparison to HK.
Angeles City, Philippines; The truth is whenever I get the chance to hit up Wan Chai on Sundays, it makes me miss Angeles. I would say mongering in Angeles is better than HK. If you want pinays, but it's not necessarily cheaper! I have stated before that in HK I'm strictly a walk up / brothel man -Wan Chai is more of a place to hang out, flirt for me AND I'm not paying those ridiculous prices so many mongers complain about- and the walk up rates I've come across are typically 300-400 HKD (39-52 usd). Yes you can get sex in AC cheaper than that, but not on Fields / Walking Street! What does suck about AC is the infrastructure. Side walks, what are those? Filthy homeless children begging for money, unpaved streets, street vendors pestering you while you eat lunch. I would say I still love Angeles over HK for mongering, but not by much.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; I really want to fuck an Indian broad and I heard there were plenty of Indian gals working so I did look around. Unfortunately, the brothels I checked out were mostly Chinese and the quality was LOW. I DID see a few Indian freelancers, but all were fat. Now aside from it not being a party town, KL is a wonderful city, but it's the kind of city I'd rather bring a chick too. So yeah HK is way better than KL.
Phnom Penh, Cambodia; I love PP, but it's a place I'd rather work and live in than visit strictly for mongering. I'm an impatient monger. When I am monger mode I've got one thing in mind; SEX! I don't want to pussy-foot around dancing, flirting and having dinner with a working girl. I want to get to it! How much? Ok let's go! The scene in PP is generally cheaper, but not by much and there's too much dicking around with chit-chat for my liking. Yes there are FL's around that you can get for $10 USD, but there's typically not enough quality among them to make it worth your while. Now what is great about Cambodia is the vibe, it's so relaxed. The people are nice, the old French style buildings are charming as hell and it feels authentic. That being said, I would certainly take HK over PP for mongering.
Pattaya, Thailand; Yuh know what, I'm not going to even go into this. Larry Bird is a great basketball player, but he's not Michael Jordan. This doesn't mean that Larry isn't great, he's just not as great as Air Jordan, but no one is! In terms of mongering Pattaya IS Michael Jordan.
Bangkok, Thailand; This is probably the closest call here. Both cities have their advantages over the other, but I'm going to have to go with BKK. The bottom line is I love strip clubs (not for mongering, but hanging out); In fact, I am all about FLs in Thailand, so you won't hear me whining to the likes of Stickman how the prices of gogo girls has gotten way out of hand. I do love going to the gogos though. I will buy lady drinks where I'll chit-chat and get touchy-feely with a dancer and sometimes I will just chill drinking beer while watching naked girls dancing. The bottom line is HK doesn't have an equivalent to this. Yes, they have gogos, but they're a rip-off once you get past the 25 HKD beers AND the dancers typically aren't that attractive NOR are they ever naked.
So that's my 99 Hong Kong cents. Feel free to comment if ya like, just remember these are my opinion. Which are just like buttholes and thankfully, I've got BOTH! .

Keep in mind once you enter, you're obligated to pay. There is a few active forum that will also guide you on the same site. Lots written in these forums about both places. Believe they even have their own thread for the novice Punter.
Agreed, walk ups are the way to go. Like the other guys said, the buildings are decrepit (inside and out), but its all good. The ladies are there to please, well maintained, drama free and charge a good price. The other great thing about the walk up circuit is that there are so many of them in Kowloon that it should be easy to find a gal that suits all of your needs and they're all within walking distance of the subway.
You'll need about 5-6 hours at the minimum RT, or you could spend the night.
It's by far the best sauna experience you'll ever have. My fave Familia Nobre.

Here we go again. It's 10.15 pm and I'm off down Lockhart Road towards the fleshpots. Streets are strangely quiet but the "men's bars" such as Old Vic and the Dog House as I call them are doing a roaring trade. Not many girls about. First stop Neptune111.
