If you had taken the trouble to read only the last couple of pages, you would have all the information you need. See Brockstar and Christian g's reports which are only a few days old. The websites they mention cover everything. Remember to report back.
Yes I've noticed that when continued to read.
Usually I'll spent weeks to study the new place before i ask specific questions. I'm just in a rush this time.
I'll report back if I finally take some adventures.
Work commitments mean I don't get to Wan Chai until just after midnight. The streets are quiet for a Friday night, so much so that you can actually walk on the pavements past the busy bars. 1st stop Neptune 111. Busy with lots of available girls. My 22 year old is waiting for me, looking good and showing a lot of flesh. We spend a pleasant hour or so chatting and having a few drinks.
Then onto what used to be my favorite place in the "old" days, Fenwicks now called Escape. At 2. 00 am it is heaving but too dark to see much and the band is loud. Plenty of classy girls around. Their prices are classy as well, Starting at $3000, I politely decline but wish them well. No thanks.
I decide on an early night and sure enough I soon get a text from my 22 year old. Can she join me. Certainly. Big mistake. Straight into bed, but she wants to sleep and asks if I can wait until morning. Reluctantly agree and when morning comes, she is not feeling well. She suggests maybe the wrong time of the month. I cut to the chase and suggests she returns home, without any remuneration. So that's that. We never learn, do we?
Well dude the human dick has a short term memory clean up mode. The moment it spits cums all data is wiped clean and it needs to reboot again with fresh pussy. LOL.
Prices of escape are crazy now, but I miss it so much wish when do I get back to HK. Do we still have the Latina brigade in escape on the right hand side when we enter from Fenwick street.
Enjoy have a great time, your posts are very short yet precise and informative. Keep up the good work Man.
Hk rocks.
Cheers,
Alex
You could well be right but we saw some girls having to pay who looked OK. "Coloured" guys seem to be a problem in most of the bars, allegedly because they don't spend enough on drinks.
Welcome back JTL. Think the policies change all the time. Used to escort ladies into NM because otherwise they had to pay. Someone told me sometime ago Neptune have a cover too but lower. Think Chantik would know the current policies. Could be same with HK Cafe and Escape.
Think "Colored" has been usurped by a particular darker group to represent only their group and non other (so they can freely discriminate against everyone else). Locals should be considered colored too. Over the years seen "Lack of Colored" guys (AKA Ghosts) kicked out for not buying any drinks. Really monetarily egalitarian here. Money talks. At the door for some.
IMHO, should hold on to your 22 newbie. They can be fun to train.

All the bars have signs in which they charge men. But this is only a certain group of gents. Which is usually guys who aren't caucasian. Its important to note that once this group of men have been to the bar two or three times and spend money they are never charged again. Many non caucasians gain free entry into bars. And if they go with a regular visitor to the bar these gents won't be charged. Also note many white guys aren't allowed into bars because they don't need money. And of course when I go to Bali I am charged to enter bars.

I travel through Dubai fairly regularly and on the odd occasion stay in the RMH courtesy of Emirates. Jules is an interesting place with its wide variety of Nationalities. Easy pick-ups and of course, it is only a few minutes walk back to the hotel. Never been stopped yet.
Escape was my favorite place in the past but as you say, it is too expensive now. Not seen many Latinos lately but there is still a good choice available if you have an ATM attached to you.
I've been to Hong-Kong a few times now and will be back next week for a month. I've been looking for a good massage parlor, there's so many to choose from. I've been looking into the Serenity spa, is there any that are recommended? Massage and H / E.
From my time there it seems Wan Chai is getting quieter, though did pick up a nice Philippine in amazonia a few weeks back for a slightly unreasonable price. As an aside, does anyone know if the band in amazonia actually play live? I keep hearing rumors the guitarist is pre-recorded.
Wan Chai is a shadow of what it was 10 years ago, but still OK in my opinion. In Amazonia bar there are normally two bands playing live every night, so not sure who you refer to of the guitarists. The oldest one is Willie Gonzales in "Ice House Band" - a true guitar virituoso. I can assure you it is no playback! This band has been playing live in Amazonia for the last 10 years I think. They are just the best live cover band I have heard anywhere in the world. Enjoy! I can not give advise for massage places as I normally would enjoy those in Thailand or Macao. I do not think HK is worth the price.

Wan Chai Tuesday
I am busy with work and don't finish until after 10.30 pm. Fortunately it involved some refreshment so I "am feeling no pain". That's when I head down to Wan Chai.
As usual Neptune 111 is the first stop but as was expected it is quiet and the girls far outnumber the boys. My 22 year old sidles up looking good but my memory reminds me it is not the right time of month for her, or at least that was her excuse the other day. I am assured the time is right now but alarm bells are ringing albeit I buy her a drink and experience a nice piece of grinding. We make a deal that if she likes, she can come to my hotel later thus allowing her to make some money on ladies drinks. She will be lucky as there very few guys there.
I head off the HK Café. Miss M is at her usual place and we say our good-byes in a friendly civilised way as I leave tomorrow and the monthly curse is with her. No point in taking it any further. I call it quits and on my way back to the hotel (it is about 2. 30 am) I get a call from my "old" Chinese massage girl that I have not seen her yet and she reminds me I'm leaving tomorrow. Sure, she can come to the hotel and I kid you not, the best sex ever ensues. My 22 year old gets a text telling her not to bother coming. There is a God after all.
As it says in the previous report, Wan Chai has changed. Not so busy and also a lot less guys around as well. Nevertheless the bars like Queen Vic, The Dog House, Misty etc etc seem to be doing well. Their drink prices compared to the other bars with the girls are a good bit less expensive and there are some guys out there that just want a pint or two. I also see an increasing number of girls frequenting these bars. The ladies drink prices are stupid, as are we that pay the price for them. There are still a lot of girls around but many must be going home empty handed. Quality is on the downward slope.
But it is still a great place! Until the next time.

Many girls going home empty handed, you are right, why don't they adjust their price downwards, they would get busy again, its strange that its almost as if the free market is not happening efficiently for some reason. Anyway, the velvet curtain places with dancing poles at ground level in wanchai must be looking cheap now in comparison, what are the prices like in those lately? Just bar fine one of those like we do in Manila.

Suggested for two years that Curtain bars are good value, if you only have one or two drinks. And its less likely that curtain bar ladies will run out after one pop.

Just bar fine one of those like we do in Manila.
The whole "bar business" in Wan Chai is out of balance in my opinion; Over the past 10 years we see bars after bars closed down. The old ones struggle. The decline in working girls from the Philippines and Thailand is significant. As a result there are much less gents around also. But for some strange reason the "curtain bars" still prevail! What a waste of space these bars are! I mean; have you ever seen these bars full? Normally they are empty. Not only for a while but the entire night! So, why are they still running? Given the level of renting a "street level" area in Hong Kong it seems to be a very bad business model. So how could they survive? It is well known (from Soi Cowboy in Bangkok) and other areas that such bars really are nothing more than institutions for "money laundry". If this is the case in Wan Chai I do not know, but I suspect it is. No bar can survive year after year with almost no income. I know they sometimes are visited by "local Tycoons" that spend loads of money. But I guess that is not every day. Bars like Dusk till Dawn was a good place 10 years ago. The place was packed 7 days a week. Lots of working girls. Then, new owners decided to deny access for working girls. How stupid can you be as bar owner?? Hong Kong Cafe (Neptune 2 before) was a good place but always packed. They probably ignored safety issues and thus was ordered to close. Other bars like Boracay is always empty and has been for many years. New Makati very popular 2-3 years ago, now empty on many nights. I struggle to understand the scene in Wan Chai (for many reasons) but the main reason for the decline is due to strict immigration policy; less girls means less gents. Less business. Everybody struggle. I guess it is all planned by the local city managers, but still sad for those of us who loved the vibe of this area 10 years ago; you could actually see sexy girls in miniskirt all over. Now there are not much left.

Same experience here

I'll be honest that the cheap beer is what lured me in and each time I was the only guy in the place and was immediately swarmed as I sat down. After visiting a few it was then that I asked how much lady drinks were and haven't even considered sticking my head inside since. There has to be more than meets the eye with these joints, because there's no other way they could still be open. Honestly I think bars like Queen Victoria should be the norm. Great happy hour (up until 10 pm too) and no lady drink charge. Every time I have gone in Sunday its always packed, which means the broads will follow too.
Maybe I'm just practical when it comes to pussy, could be because I'm still in my 30's too, but I never understood who pays these prices that appear to be the norm in Escape and HK Cafe. Even I was making 100,000 HKD / month, I'd rather FLY to Clark from Hong Kong and spend the weekend in Angeles City than drop 3,000 to nail one of the FL's from those two clubs. So who pays these prices? The truth is that it only takes of these suckers to pay 3000 to lead these ladies to believe (whom typically have absolutely no business sense) that this will be the norm. Prostitution is a staple in Hong Kong and will remain one, at least in Kowloon. I can't say the same for Wan Chai. From my perspective the scene in Wan Chai is kind of like a 3rd world country in that you have some women who make a lot of money and while the vast majority are lucky to get 1 or 2 customers a month (if that) and you have a few guys who pay these prices, while most do the walk ups and saunas (myself included).

Then you have the so called high end Iranian girls in Moscow, Hyatt regency, Zinc in Crowne Plaze, cash, Morjana, Kasbar everywhere you can find them buddy.
Then you have late night cafes where you can find Iranian's like nasrin or aayoush.
Man its not like HKwhere we have only Escape or Nm or Bar 109 or Players. Dxb has pussy everywhere in every hotel in every bar where you will find alcohol you will find pussy simple logic.
Enjoy: DXB is Pussy.
