It's just a matter of adapting. In Manaus I can still eat a decent comida-a-kilo meal for less than R$5. In Rio the same meal will cost at least 4 times more. Having a cheap lunch in centro of Rio is no problem. Many of the Chinese-owned lanchonettes serves very large plates of yakisoba for R$10. In centro you can eat a giant Yakissoba for R$ 9, 00 and f*k a garota for R$ 40, 00 at PFA.

Love it or hate it, Balcony got it's Pros and Cons. I bought her 2 Caprinha for this 5 10' super hot chik name Natalie and danced with her for a little while. By the way, she was so hot that I and I took her # and mostly likely will see her tonight. She was asking for 300/2hrs BBBJ N Completa or 450 / noite. I took her # and told her that I might take her out tonight (Sat). I used to know a bouncer by Marizin discota, and It was jam packed last night. I don't have any time to waste over non pros at the moment so I moved on after getting info from another bouncer at Marizinn. Brasil is a huge so the bouncers move around. Don't want to bust your bubble, and don't take this the wrong way, but some of those taller chicks at Balcony are not what you think they are. It has been mentioned many times that the transgendered crowd tends to mingle openly at that zoo. I don't mind walking by and maybe having a drink; but those tall chicks, the really tall ones there, do make me wonder if the person is really who they say they are. Last thing anyone enjoying the city needs is a "Crying Game" moment if you know what I'm talking about. Be careful.

I had a hard time spotin beggers in Copacabana so I can unload my change. Rio is changed fellas. Just call for Star Cris Natalia whos 21 5 7' completa. The skol cost US$3 and Smirnoff is 9 rials. Things changed and I don't blame them. I can comprehend what's happening to the global economy, thus they have every right to set those prices. I'm not trying to be your professor but you gota update youself and smart enough to beat the inflation. Like I said yesterday, Brasil is changed forever N it's a destination for people with loaded pockets. The owner of Balcony disco kinda like my uncle and we had a little chat last chit over what to do next? Where to invest? What should be our next move? My advice is that your gota be successful enough to beat the inflation. Study the global economy and than (3Cs) , country, credit and currency risk and you should do well.

Hi everyone,

My first of many posts on this board. Thank you so much for all your information. It is very helpful. I am looking to take a trip by myself somewhere between July. October. I am a mid 30's African American (of Basan descent) and would like to know if I will have any problems fitting in if I go to Brazil and go to the termas or any other spot that the chicas hang out at for some action? I'm very respectful to women and very mature and a gentleman. But will the girls be attracted to me or give me even a second look since I'm a black guy and mid-30's? I want to make sure I go somewhere this will not be an issue. I don't want to pay all this money for a mongering trip and then fall into a racism issue.

Also, I speak very little spanish and no Portuguese. I went to Sosua last December and had a great time there. Love chicas that are light and medium dark skinned, not really into real dark (I. E. Haitians) , but not real real light either.

I am trying to decide between Brazil, Curacao, St Maarten (free airplane ticket) , DR (have a girl waiting there for me that I met at Passions last December, so that should be good GFE for the week) , or any other areas you guys recommend. Will my race cause a problem in any of these areas. I look low 30's, have a beard and dress casual, not thuggish at all. I'm a business man guys, so sometimes I wear a nice button down long sleeved shiny shirt with jeans and dress shoes to go to the supermarket LOL. Seriously. I love girls with curves and big booty. Not super skinny. And I love GFE for overnight and walking around during the day but will go for some one off transactions with a girl that is not so GFE but HOT AS HELL! LOL.

At the end of the day, you have the cash (Even though Rio is significantly more expensive than Sousa in the D. R.) and that makes the playing field even. If you are weak in Spanish, and do not speak Porto, forget about hooking up with a non pro. Thats wishful thinking (Unless you are turly there for business, and you meet a woman who speaks English). Again, race will not be an issue at the termas. However, Termas can be expensive. Good Luck!

If the plane tix are cheaper by 900 then they should be pretty cheap. Don't compare Rio to Sosua. Two different things. Sosua is not real mongering in my opinion. It takes no skill at all. Most of the guys in Sosua love it just for that reason. Rio on the other hand, esp 2013 Rio requires more skill and effort to make the most of it. If you no zero port, plan on staying in a 3 block radius, plan to bang GFE dimes your whole trip for cheap prices, and plan to apply Sosua level effort in Rio (which basically is no effort) I'd say don't bother with Rio. Race will be the last thing you'll have to worry about.

It's been a while since I've been to Brazil. I'm purposely taking a hiatus. But the monger God willing, I'll be back! Check out the photo section too to see the wide variety of women that are available in Brazil. Not so many Asians in Rio, but there is a large Japanese population in Sao Paulo if you like the east Asian girls.

Tried to get as much as possible and woke up at 330pm. I did a 40 mins running by Copacabana beach and later stopped by Monte Carlo. Unfortunately, it was closed. Made a quick call to Star Cris and found out that only Jessica, Liticia and jacquiline are working. I was recommended to check out Jessica, who's 20 5 6' and completa friendly. The only problem with star cris is that there isn't a fixed price for services like completa. It ranges from R$40-80. However, the gain is that they aren't charging ridiculous cab free like Scort Show did and I paid only R$20 for a total cab fare for Nathalia and Jessica. The total damage was R$150 + 20 (cab) + 40 sinful completa = R$210 which is nearly a US$100/2 hrs or UK 65 sterling. Not bad

I'm dying to check out what's 4x4 (Bunda paradise) had to offer tom.
