It has taken me 8 months to work out how to add a report so this is my virgin ISG report.

Thanks for the putting the record straight. I won't ask you to find a woman for me in the sports bar. I will do all the work myself.

I have chosen the finest red that South africa can produce. It is bought packed. And ready for my trip iin March.

This is very late in posting. But I was reminiscing!

I stayed at the Lodge in March/April, and my flight home left at 8:30pm. I had arranged a late check-out, and asked for help hailing a taxi.

One of the men who worked there was sent out with me to help. He managed to get a cab after about 5 minutes (remember. This is 100 or so metres from Sukhumvit Road). I was getting ready to load my suitcase into the boot, when one of the gorgeous Livingstones ladies who was standing at the entrance (this was about 6pm) ran over and stopped me.

She said "NO no. Him bad man. He take too much money"

She then stood with me for a few more minutes, and hailed another taxi for me.

I thanked her. And was very grateful. I not only had a great conversation all the way to the airport, but the driver was very helpful and in no way asked for more than he deserved. It was a very pleasant way to end my time in Bangkok.

Typical of the service I found at Livingstones really.

5 minutes will not be enough, we have to drink at least a bottle of wine together - that one from South Africa we lay on its side for a few years...:)

Yes, Sonja is an excellent receptionist, and she also has many long-time friends returning to the Lodge only to meet her. From all the receptionist outside she is by far the best one - and the one with the highest motivation level.

G, it looks like Piper and I are going to be in town at the same time in November. Can Livingstone's handle both of us at the same time? Do you need to purchase additional insurance?
I will be there with my GF, by the way, so please ensure the webcam in 115 is off, and could you please ask Piper to behave, and not ask for a BBBJCIM from the lovely restaurant wait(ress) on the pool table? Last time was a bit much, even for my hardened eyes. ;)

It will be my GF's first trip to LOS. I hope she doesn't have a heart attack when she sees the goings on !
