Hi all
I understand the need to wear a nice button down shirts and look sharp if you are going out to a club etc,
But how do you not sweat like a pig ?
Its so hot even at night that walking a couple blocks will make me sweat,
I try and only buy cotton shirts so at least they absorb a little bit , but am I missing something ?
At home its hot but dry, so if you sweat it drys off quick, but LOS is so humid i never seem dry
thanks for your ideas
BK
Shower often, talc and try not to drink too much alcohol (if any). It might help.
Thanks Alxxx for the tips. Checked the Omni Towers but it seems they have a joiner fee. Is that right or I am not reading it correctly?
Also, I understand there are 3 main "playgrounds" in BKK, Nana, Soi Cowboy/Sukhumvit and Patpong. From the reports I read here, Patpong is a no go as it's full of rip off joints, so that's crossed off. Now, between Nana and SC&Sukhumvit, which one is the better option in terms of quality of girls and price and overall fun factor? Also, upon arrival, the first day, I'd like to go for a nice thai massage (the one where you get soaked on an air mattress with the girl), what would you recommend for a good option in that regard?
Thanks a bunch.
At Omni I was never charged anything. They just always register the guest which seems to be pretty good for security reasons, but don't charge anything. You can email them for confirmation, but again, I never had any problems with that.
Honestly, I've never been to Patpong, and don't want to go, for as you mentioned it's seems to be full of rip-off things, moreover some girls joke that if you want a ladyboy or if you're gay go to Patpong. Well I'm not so don't want to go LOL
The main playgrounds for me in BKK have been Beergarten on Soi7 and street girls, who are all around soi4, Nana Plaza, Sukhumvit Road (especially from soi 3 to soi 23). Also you may try Gullivers at soi5 and discos around the area, for example Nana Liguid on soi4 near Nana hotel. Also I enjoy live music bars which have freelancers and good live music.
Bangkok is fun!
I've never been to MPs in BKK for I prefer more "lively" action, but I think upon arrival you can settle down at soi 4 and check out Annie's at soi2. They got a website, and there's plenty of info in the respective thread here on forum. When you go there ask the mamasan for a room with a matress for bodyslide thing ('because not all rooms have that and probably not all girls do that). By the way, that's not called Thai massage. Thai massage is a different kind of thing and pretty good too, and no problem to get in Thailand for 250-350 baht

My 2 cents
Why? I am in the damn toilet two feet from a urinal about to screw...
IMHO you should have done her doggie style instead. It makes a big difference.

Sweat
BBK, just calm down, allow your body to regulate by itself, unless its's going over 40°C.
If you think about you will stress and double the problem at least.
Run Mann, with all due respect she had the voice of a girl, as much as I could tell in the club and the taxi. Yes the hands were a bit large and I did start to become suspicious when she told me she forgot her ID, really this should have been a red flag... or was it when we stopped at the gas station and she went to the men's room? Bottom line it can happen to anyone, in fact a few days later in Hong Kong I almost did not go with a girl from Laguna because she had big hands, I had to finger her crotch to convince myself she was a girl, not necessarily the most elegant thing to do in a night club... Fortunately it was OK because she was the real thing and Laguna is not a real night club.
Mahal,
I’m not one who subscribe to the one size fits all theory when discussing this topic. Of course we can all be fooled but in my experience the voice is almost always a dead giveaway, probably because I've listen to the Thai dialect/accent for so long. Btw, the red flags you mentioned are not only telling but are too funny especially the one about her going to the men’s room.

Mahal,
I have been to Liquids? about 2 months ago. Like always I'm somewhat of a looker it's just a game of mines. I check everything out so when there's a fight, gunfire or fire I know where to duck or run out. Like a Thai I think about myself and fuck everyone else!
Once I settle down on a stool, I start to break the down action like always being my age, dressing and looking the way I do ( but I'm clean and smell good ) no one is going to come rushing at me even if I'm mistaken for a Japanese or Korean. Plus if they do they are wasting their time I have no intention of paying a higher price because I look like another race.
That evening during my mental games and listening to one of the worse bands and the DJ wasn't much better. I saw two particular LB'S sitting on the table in front of me along with another girlfriend of theirs. Although one was particularly thin and had a waist of a women wearing a very nice black dress as soon as she turn around I knew it was a it! Now I've seen many and spoken to many she or he wasn't bad but clearly a it. While I was scooping the meat out for the evening I could make out some of their Thai that this was their regular hang out.
During the next hour he or she the thin one had napped on to a British guy, they were grinding and dancing I had no idea if he knew or this was his thing but when I was returning from the bathroom he was getting her things and leaving with the Farang.
Don't feel bad shit happens you got off lucky I've heard some guys actually go through with it! Myself, I'm not saying I can't be fool but my brothers wife cousin won the contest in Pattaya one year as Miss Tiffany, and actually marry some rich Chinese guy from Hong Kong. Myself, I check out the hands and feet myself for everyone and I'm straight cause I hate waiting up with a women with bigger feet and hands than me. Long time ago I didn't and woke up in the morning and saw some feet bigger than mines along with hammer toes lucky me it was a women. ( no comments from the peanut gallery )
Move on... unless you aren't telling us the truth and actually when through with it?

Why don't you tell us her name and number, so that we can check her out and give you an honest assessment?
Hi, I have been in Bangkok last month for the first time I my life (40 years), I had a great time with gogo girls met in Soy Cowboy, one in particular, a beautiful 24 year old Isaan girl from Tilac.
She was absolutely fantastic in bed, e abody, sweet, GFE, very funny and she even tidy up my messy room on the next day!
I spent with her the last two days before going back to Europe, now we call each other twice a week (she even called me on my mobile one day), we write e-mails daily, she is keep saying she wants me to take her away to Europe, is that normal?

LBM
The stereotype of the century. And replace Thai with American and you might be close. But THAI people, in general, are the most selfless people I have ever met.

As a general proposition (no pun intended) not enough of this type of info is shared (names, bar, etc.).
Had a great time in Pattaya last year with such information I acquired off his board. It was fun to go into a place and ask for a gal by name, it kind of puts you at an advantage.
The stereotype of the century. And replace Thai with American and you might be close. But THAI people, in general, are the most selfless people I have ever met.
I laughed at this so hard my office chair almost flipped over backwards. Thanks, I needed that! (You obviously don't live here in Thailand, or if you do, you just haven't been here 'Long Enough'!)
Then I thought, wait, this could just be flame bait and boy am I dumb, I'm actually falling for it. Heh.
"The tales of Sri Thanonchai". (Google it) are memorized by every Thai by the time they are 8 years old. They ALL secretly want to be him til the day they die. As a fellow board member, I say to you, please, save yourself a lot of grief down the road and get a clue as to how the basic thought processes manifest themselves in the REAL Thailand. It's not the Thai's fault per se, it's just the way they all learned to deal with things as they grew up. In fact, they actually screw each other far more often than they screw us.
Most farang guys do seem to have to learn it all the hard way. Good luck.

BKK Dreaming
The individually sealed cold towels sold at the quickie marts help some. I have heard ex pats swear by the prickly heat talcum powder.
For my gorilla like hairy body, air conditioning and taxis are the only way to go. Still I go thru a couple of clothes changes a day. Too damn humid.
Still all in all well worth the inconvenience for the quality of the local pussy that seems to thrive in that climate.

Interesting about the Green Tea. I will give it a try in Nov.

Yeah, the men's room comment was tongue in cheek. IT did go to the bathroom though in a gas station while I waited in the car, I have no idea on what side, M or F... And to LBM who asked whether I went through with it... Man, frankly even wasted, which I was not, there is no way I could do it. I do consider myself lucky though that IT did not make any problems to leave or ask for money, and yes I have moved on!

Maybe you already know but I think what you are missing? Is to wear a thin white t-shirt with no sleeves, the type or style that look like the old basketball jerseys. The collar is low enough with the shirt collar open you can't really see that you have one on.
I grew up in a area that was always cool and the car I had didn't have A/C, once I had to attend to a wedding 2 hours away by car. When I got there and out of the car my shirt was soaked. A thin t-shirt helps so does A/C, these t-shirts I have seen being sold even in 7/11 and of course the stalls along the street sell them along with those manly bikini boxers for you young guys!

Bangkok 8/3 – 8/4
Flew EVA and got in about 11:30 Tuesday morning and check into Nana Hotel around 12:30. Got my free drink and breakfast slips and settled in for a bit, but did not want to sleep yet, too damn excited to be in LOS after a 6 year gap. Headed out to Annie’s. I have a lot to say about Annie’s, so I will post a separate thread.
As far as the Nana Hotel, I have always stayed there when in BKK, so I cannot compare with the other hotels. I like the location, next to Nana Plaza, near Annie’s, and not far from Soi Cowboy. The place reasonable, free breakfast, and lots of free water in the fridge. The rooms are outdated, but still comfy. There are quite a few women in the bar next door and near the hotel, all waiting for that handsome man. The down side, no free WiFi or clocks in the room. I have stayed there multiple times and never had a problem. The hotel also has in room safes.
Back to mongering. After eating at Soi 8 Pub, which was pretty good, I stopped in the Eden Club. I sat at the bar, had a drink, and talked to the owner for a bit. He filled me in on everything, girls, prices, etc… The women that I saw there, I really wasn’t much interested in, and I thought the prices were over the top; I left. I was really tired, but would not summit to sleep; headed for Nana Plaza. Stopped in the Carnival Club, not much going on, then to the Carousel. Chatted with one of the servers, watched the lesbo show, and then the ping pong pussy popping show; always entertaining! I liked the server, so I paid her bar fine (600), and off we went. Her name was Aum, and she did look better in the dark club, but still a sweetie. At about 3am, I threw in the towel.
I woke up Wednesday at about noon, and stopping to check my e-mail. Turns out, I got an e-mail from Tok. I meet Tok in Annie’s in 2004 and she gave the best massage and other services any man could ever ask for. In 2004, we exchanged e-mail addresses and kept in contact for the last 6 years. A few months ago, I e-mailed her and told her I was coming back. So Wednesday morning, she sent me her phone number. I did not really know what to do with the number, so I consulted my favorite Nana driver, Amnuay. He called her and when he stopped talking, I asked, “What?” He told me she would be at the hotel at 8 tonight. With that being said and done, I was off to Annie’s again.
Later on, I pondered my options. The fact is, I had a list of places to go and see in Soi Cowboy and Patpong. So I could go around and see a bunch of ass and so forth, or wait and spend time with one of the hottest women I ever spent 1.5 hours with 6 years ago; the decision was easy. Tok showed up around 9, due to bad traffic and she looked great. It was raining, so we ate in the hotel, not great food, but not bad food either. She turned out to be quite the talker, and I learned more about growing bamboo, more than I ever dream of knowing. She also mentioned she was divorced and couldn’t recall the last time she had sex; BINGO! She stayed over.
Thursday morning I spent some quality time and had breakfast with Tok; she left about 11. It was time to move on, even though it was great 2 days in BKK. Located my driver, loaded up the Volvo, and off to Pattaya; with a quick stop at 7-11 to buy some tasty adult beverages for the drive. After an exhausting 1.5 hour trip, we pulled in front on my favorite home away from homes; Penthouse Hotel. I will follow up in the Pattaya thread.
