Manila
If I am looking for a plan B backup, I ask for references and contacts here on the board.

Usually one or two of the guys will provide contacts. And you can ncall or text to set up a meeting etc. Or if you are in Manila, go to Manila Bay Cafe and pull a woman from there. The goodies often ask for 3, 000 for overnight, long time. And there you have the opportunity to talk with women before you make your choice.

I often buy a couple of plates of french fries, with lots of ketchup, and invite women to tuck in for some food. A good way to get a conversation going. And it is cheap.

I hope that this has been of some help in sorting things out.

From my perspective, the most important thing for you is to get your wife offf your back for a few days. Give you some flexibility.

Good luck, and happy mongering,

G
Thanks a lot for the tips.

I will definitely keep them in mind and use them for advantage on my next trip, next year.
My apologies on two counts. I've been away and just now got back to the forum; sorry for re-hashing old content. Second, the length of this post: for those looking exclusively for information on how to find Pinay in-out, in-out, these aren't the droids you're looking for. What follows is for the half dozen others. Waste of band width? Depends where you sit.

I'm not particularly invested in the idea, but I think a few guys didn't get the memo about the demise of the military-industrial complex:

. SNIP. .
Skip why are you discussing this on the Manila thread? Maybe you should apologize on three counts?
Skip why are you discussing this on the Manila thread? Maybe you should apologize on three counts?
Because this is the thread where it ran from May 23rd to 25th, with contributions from GE, FF, GE again, Surfer, WR, then me, PB, GE again, and then PB again. I would gladly have transplanted it into the "USA Politics" thread (there really is one in the Phils forum, last used in 2006), but I have never found instructions anywhere in the site to move quotes from one thread to another. Please pm me with instructions if you know how.

But in keeping with the community spirit: sorry, sorry, sorry.
But in keeping with the community spirit: sorry, sorry, sorry.
It was actually a rhetorical question but your answer is acknowledged.

I am always more inclined towards making gentle reminders to the "old hands" who sometimes think we are running a blog on World Politics instead of, as the name of the website implies, providing advice more useful to mongers.

No harm no foul.
Assumption: your 10-hour layover allows you an 8-hour window of opportunity because you'll be back at NAIA 2 hours prior to departure to complete flight check in (15-45 min) , immigration (15-45 min) and walk to your gate.

<SNIP

Anyway, a 6. 5.7. 5 hour window allows you ample time to have a shag. Unless you have an absolutely reliable girl already lined up to meet you at your hotel I think MBC is your safest bet as it has plenty of girls. For hotties it's hit and miss, mostly miss. An escort is also a viable option. And if you arrive on a Sunday your commute times will be much shorter.
Thanks for all the good info Guys! I will start setting up some contacts. Is DIA a escort / dating agency, club, or what? BR Sharky (In China this week)

Other members are looking forward to your third post. Great name BTW. I'm glad to hear that your psy feels good.
LOL this guy is a trip.
It would be quite interesting to put some of the "old hands" in one room and see how the conversations progressed.

It happened to me yesterday and I couldn't believe it. Was sitting in Burger King at Robinsons Midtown when a well dressed and clean Filipino guy smiled his widest grin, began waving at me and walked over to my table to shake hands. I asked him if I knew him. He said he was from my hotel. The clown was summarily and rudely dispatched. Newbies beware. Very bad things could happen.

GE, relative to me, you aren't old at all, but I will accept your basic premise that you've become a crotchety ol bastrd. (Disney movie with lots of balloons comes to mind).

I used to love the Sunflower live club in Cebu. But you really couldn't talk much unless you got at least half way back in the seating. This annoyance wasn't terribly bad if you were with a gal that is more physical than communicative, or if you just want to dance.

Sadly, Sunflower is no longer an option. Once I bumped into Spamhog there, I wonder where he goes to dance these days. SH, are you still here? X.
I guess my age is showing, in that it must be the younger guys who can tolerate the clubs. Once, when I was staying at the New World, a friend led me to Palladium for a drink, and the noise was so deafening that I found it intolerable after 15 minutes or so and had to leave. It was impossible to have any sort of conversation and the music was several generations beyond what I recognize as music. I add this comment as a word of caution to the doddering set, in which I firmly include myself, that the pain of going to these places (assuming Palladium was typical of the noise level) might not be worth the trip, at least if you're over 50 and your musical tastes are frozen somewhere around the Rolling Stones era.
It would be quite interesting to put some of the "old hands" in one room and see how the conversations progressed.
Kindly do not schedule such a meeting before nap time as the cacophony of snores may be deafening.

Unfortunately, there are some very naive people who still get played. As a young guy I got duped by a bar girl in Philadelphia, just buying drinks. It wasn't much, but the duplicity was so shocking to me. I'm guess that made me more cautious later on.

Cacophony.

What a great word. I wouldn't even know how to pronounce it.

Try asking "Oh, and which hotel is that?"
Yes, this is a common scam. Try asking "Oh, and which hotel is that?"
Happened to me also over a year ago in the same place. I did ask "Oh, and which hotel is that?". Funny thing is the guy guessed the right hotel or probably followed me from my hotel down the street. I was looking for a cell phone store wich he directed me to and walked with me there. I told him a number of times durring the walk that I don't need his help anymore. He said he had a friend in one of the many cell cubicle stores. He spoke Tagalog to the attendent. I know now he was negotiating his cut of the transaction and cost me a few more pesoes plus another few pesoes to get rid of him. I guess this is a common scam in that area and its not just one guy who does it. Lesson learned.

I have so little patience with such con men that I refuse to even engage in any banter with them, particularly after running errands in Ermita where every drunkard, drug addict, bum, criminal, street girl, or watch / cialis / viagra vendor attempts to find their way into my pockets. My response was quite short, succint and bastos.
