It seems that I have to explain mine again. English is not my native language, so, I probably was not clear enough, but maybe is it worth reading my previous posts again, as, for instance, I never wrote that Thailand "is going down the tubes" or that it is not a great destination for our hobby.

Actually, I am mainly speaking about various data such as the local cost-of-living, domestic purchasing power, etc.

Maybe should we now introduce a new concept, the "Local Pussy Index" (LPI)? That would take into account the local monthly average wage and the P4P prices, or, if you prefer, the time an individual has to work to buy some quality time with a prostitute (a ST session with a cute and young provider, for instance).

I will try to make it simple and clear with my poor English skills.

In Northeastern Thailand, eight years ago, a local unskilled construction worker was paid (approximately) 150 baht per day. Now, it's (approximately) 200 baht per day. Let's say, to simplify, that our construction worker was paying on average 300 baht for a ST session in a local brothel in year 2002, and that the price for the same service in the same establishment is 400 baht now. Despite the 100 baht increase, the "Local Pussy Index" for this guy at this specific location has not changed: he still needs to work two days (2 x 150 baht in 2002, 2 x 200 baht in 2010) to earn the price of a ST session there (300 baht in 2002, 400 baht in 2010). Therefore, the increase itself is not very relevant as his buying power (for the local pussy) is the same.

What I was trying to explain previously is that it is not the same story in the tourist-oriented P4P market, and especially in Bangkok. The situation has worsened really quickly in the recent years and the inflation rate in venues and for providers that mostly cater to the foreigners is really worrying, especially when the average quality of those providers is not better, but objectively lower in this market. Really. Beauty is subjective, of course, but just a few years ago, you would not have found so many mothers, and fatties, for instance, and the average age of the providers was lower too.

I am not saying that Thailand (as a whole) "is not all that good to visit", but that in the tourist-oriented locations, the quality of the providers is (on average) not as good as it was just a few years ago while the average price for their service (on this market) corresponds to a greater percentage of the local monthly average wage.

Again, that's not the same story in the Thai-oriented market. I even have noticed an improvement (in the quality of the services provided, mostly) in this market in the recent years.

You can't explain the difference by saying that I was "less jaded, less cynical, less demanding" in the past. I am speaking about what has happened in both markets during the same (and relatively short) period of time.

So, no, the Land of Smiles (as a whole) is not getting worse, but the tourist-oriented market surely is, and at a very rapid pace. Why? I explained that earlier (read again my previous reports if needed, I don't want to repeat myself again).

By the way, I am only 43-year old, my first sojourn in Thailand was in 1999 and I (choose to) live in this marvelous country since 2002. Therefore, I don't speak about how good or bad the situation was 30 years ago, but how it has evolved in the recent years.

I am a privileged monger and still very happy to live in Northeastern Thailand, but I would probably not be so happy if I were living in Bangkok with a [url="http://www.ajarn.com/help-and-guides/cost-of-living/nicholas/"]45,000 baht monthly income[/url], like many foreigners who work here (as teacher of English, for instance). Fortunately, my own revenues are higher and the market is not (yet?) spoiled where I live.

Although a few others keep claiming that everything is going to hell in Bangkok, for me, at least, it is going to heaven.

Tonight, I went back to Nana Parking lot. I was afraid that it might rain a bit, which it did, but only a few drops. I usually just cruise past Landmark Hotel and on to Soi 4 where I, with great difficulty, given the massive traffic and stalls on the sidewalk, I manage to walk down checking out the girls. There seems to be all kinds. Some are obvious ladyboys which I avoid like the plague (my gaydar and katoey detector metre are switched on to maximum level here in Bangkok).

I spy upon a possibility. She seems to be my kind of girl: cute face and thin body but there are two obvious ladyboys with her. Thus, I don't wish to take chances. I continue up the street until there is no action and then I cross the road and go back up. There are girls of all shapes, tastes, and sizes beckoning to their dens. This was last week when I landed up in Mumbai on an official trip. Was staying in one of the * hotel in andheri east. Hi guys. Long time monger here, but always stuck to Latin America. This will be my first time in Thailand coming up. RTFF and other sources and seems its possible to find nearly every kind of "specialty."

That in mind I want to ask if there are any specific spots to find lactating or especially pregnant working women. Is the idea of a bar for that kind of thing too far fetched? Any advice is appreciated.
