astoria had more variety before but then two nigerian ladies had fight with china lady, after that all african ladies were banned. this was couple of months ago. after that there were less mongerers visiting, i heard that filippino ladies were also moving to other places. so it is china ladies who are running the whole show now there?

guy in the door of the york told me that three nigerian ladies once made problems to customers in the atm, after that all african except ethiopians were banned from york, that must have been long time ago since i haven't seen any africans than etiopians there for many years.

in panorama it is most of the time same nigerian ladies every night, doormen don't let new / unknown girls inside, which is safer but it would be nice to see same new faces sometimes.

Dubai currency dirham is tied to US dollars, so it is always 1 dollar is 3. 67 dirhams.

Which makes 1000 dirhams always be around 270 USD

Was in town for a night and since its been a few weeks since I was in Manila thought I'the treat myself to a Filipina. Stayed at Crown Plaza on Sheikh Z, still very green no issues on that front, also you can get Vitamin V from the pharmacy just down the road past McDonalds without any issues.

Karama Hotel is in, yeah you guessed right. Karama. About 10 minutes and 10 Dhs by taxi from Ramada in Bur Dubai. Enter the sliding doors and immediately hang a left for Ratsky. Entrance on Christmas eve was 75 (drink included). Clientele exclusively Filipino and Indian (almost 50:50, and this reflects the make-up of Karama residents) , and a few whites thrown in for good measure. Girls almost exclusively Filipina. Saw a couple of Chinese later on. Some of the girls here are attached to boyfriends, so scope the place out before you approach anyone. A pretty average band played and the waitresses were efficient and quick. The place had a festive atmosphere about it (well it was Christmas, duh!).

The girls hang around the edges and try to make eye contact and smile, and some approach you from time to time. The cute ones didn't and expected me to make a move. The night was young and I didn't want to commit to any one in particular.

Hung around till midnight downing 2 shots of jagermeister with 3 heinekens. Decided to look around Bur Dubai and left. Was there for one week and visited York, Rockafella and Seaview. For me Seaview was way ahead as I go black only. Rockafella full of Russians and 100Dhs cover without drink (!) ladies at York were to pushy and the Ethiopians are not dark enough for me.

Popped in to have a look just after midnight. Needless to say I was quite impressed."WTF!" I can hear you say. Impressed! Yes, they have an impressive sound system / room acoustics that had me dancing invouluntarily, which is a rare occurence. Another positive for Stayin Alive is the bright lighting at the bar. You can really check out the wares in detail before comitting. The place is huge with a lot of dark corners if that's what you prefer.

I guess I paid 100 Dhs entry with a drink. Mongers are 70% Indian (South Asian). This place is very popular with Indians / Pakistanis (seems to have quite a bit of history attached). Felt like I was standing on a vital crossroad between the Arabian peninsula and the trade routes to India, Africa, China and beyond.

Spotted 6 Pakistani hookers (not bad looking) and a few Indians too (fuglys! An Indian guy I spoke to said they would unacceptable even on the back streets of Mumbai). The rest were a mix of Chinese, Africans etc. Not sure if there were any CIS girls, can't recall.

Spoke to 2 BBW's from Djibouti and Ghana. Good company, but I escaped when they got to the part where a drink is asked for. Got propositioned by cute Pakistani girl with henna on her hands.
