That's almost an impossible question to answer. It's like asking what you should pay for a hotel room or a meal in Bangkok (or London or New York or wherever). There's a huge range of choices, it depends on what you want and the thickness of your wallet. There's no one price for a lady's company, any more than there's one price for hotel rooms or for a meal. But as others have pointed out, read the reports in this thread and you'll get an idea of the range of prices for S/T or L/T. But unless you're hurting badly for money, don't worry about getting the rock-bottom prices you sometimes read about.

Thanks guys for all your lovley words, I'm glad you were all so helpfull. Indeed I will start to contrubute, I'm new so I'm getting there.

I have been studing this for about 3 months now but I wanted to also ask. But there again I must have miss understood that this was A HELPFUL forum for people to SHARE infomation without getting there nickers in a knot.

None the less I'm happy to take the criticisim on board and will contrubute as soon as I get some experience

just to give an update for the good breakfast & bakery lovers like dr ronin:
on sukhumvit: crepes & co > soi12 after passing darling & cabbage and condom you will see the oval yellow sign on the right side of the street, inside very quiet and relax ambiance. there they have good bakery basket but you better look at the different formula they are doing like : simple breakfast, strong breakfast and brunch. it is also a very good mediteranean restaurant: a big choice of salad copious salad, a large range of salty crepes(french pan cake ) and exeptional marocan tajine and coucous.

around chit lom bts: cafe lenotre > lang suan rd: top french bakeries and pastries, a bit pricey but may be the best in bangkok.

on silom> take the sky train to sala daeng: la boulange > opposite patpong 2 it's convent rd, look on the right side after the adidas shop. a very good range of french bakery but more on the budget side this time, they also have a restaurant (bistro like and inexpensive).

for after parties, there is something like 4 of them just on sukhumvit area, at least, the sukhumvit plaza roof top is one of them, but often raided by the police for them to close on time and also for drug testing ( if they ask you to [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134][CodeWord134][/url] in the little bottle, that's what it's for).
there is also 2 others enter soi 5 and soi 21, always full of fl, drinks are not over priced and the music is ok, one of them is at the 3rd floor and even have a separate room with pool tables, entrance 150 bht, the other one is on the ground floor and free entrance.
don't need to worry with the tuk tuk and taxi who want to bring you there, just keep in mind that they have nothing else to do at this time, so they all gather to these late closing places as people there don't stop to go in & out, but play it safe when being drunk and alone like everywhere else.

Thanks for all the heads ups on the bakeries and after hour clubs - I will definitely report back on them - well the clubs anyway - after getting to them. The one in the alley is I assume the club right across from where I do my internetting. Right now I am not sure which I would prefer - a tasty cinnamon bun or a girl. Jet lag finally caught up with me the last two nights and I missed Friday night completely and last night woke up around 2:30 am and groggily walked out to the parking lot and grabbed the first one that appealed to me. Big mistake. As mechanical as a time piece. I was even taking too long in the shower and she came to hurry me up - not a good sign and worse was to come. 30 seconds of smoking and she wanted to move on to step 2 - I pushed her head back - 5 seconds and her head pops up again like its Groundhogs Day - we go thru this a few more times before I give up and move on. By this time I felt so bored I just wanted this over with. It's always hit and miss and you just have to take the mediocre experiences in stride and not let them slow you down. Sometimes you can go thru stretches of good and bad - two year ago I hit a streak of such great ones that I wanted to play the lotto.

I should probably count my blessings that in the sleepy state I was in she didn't have a dick. Somehow I forgot to mention that special ingrediant to the Nana Parking lot scene in my other report. None of them tend to actually come into the parking lot - perhaps management has told them not to after a few screaming customers - but they hang out in front - particualrly across the street and just wave at you and make suggestive mouth motions. They are hard to miss. They have tits. Big ones. Hard like a blown up football. Every now and then I catch myself admiring them before I realize what they are and then go, oh shit. I have always assumed in the past that most of their business came from either drunken falangs or naive boys right out of Idaho who have never heard of such a thing and can't wait to tell their buddies back home about this big breasted Asian woman they scored with - but after a few days of observation it seems fairly clear that they have their own niche market - guys who come over here to do Ladyboys. And hey, why not - whatever floats your boat in this crazy world. But I have seen older obviouosly sober and experienced guys chat them up and go off with them - one guy with 2 of them the other night. Later they might say they didn't know but I don't believe it for a minute. I would just be curious to listen in on the conversation - do they specifically want ones that still have it or ones that have let it go I wonder? Is the market that defined - guys who do LBs with and those without? I will likely never know. Anyway I hope to keep my eyes awake tonight and find a good one to wash out last night's bad taste.

Just returned from a week in Bangkok and thanks to information I got from this great site, I had a wonderful time. Just wanted to share my experiences.

I was on business trip but certainly made time for fun. I checked out the various areas: Patpong, Soi Cowboy and Nana and definitely preferred Nana Plaza. You can find girls in all three places – either at the go-go bars or just roaming the streets. A lot of them also work the various pool halls and bars. Since I was told that most of the go-go bars are state run and controlled, I somehow felt a little better chosing girls from those places rather than trying to save a few bucks from a girl roaming the streets. I stayed at the Banyan Tree for most of the nights (due to work) which is further away, however did move to the Grande Majestic for the weekend (which is right next to Nana). The Banyan Tree is a nice 5-star hotel and I was a little nervous about bringing girls back, however, I had read on this board that hotels, including the 5 stars, specialize in "hospitality" rather than "morality" and thus there was no problem. Though the Grande Majestic was nice, I might stay at the JW Marriott next time, which looked a little nicer.

Initially, I visited several go-go bars in the 3 areas mentioned above, but found myself ending up at Rainbow 4 in Nana several times thereafter. It was quite large compared to the other bars, as it had two stages with about 120 girls (spread out over 3 shifts). I realized that the latter you arrive, the worst the selection gets. The first time, I did not arrive until after midnight, and almost all of the bars close down at 1am, thus the selection was not too great (about all that was left was what I call the “filler girls”, that is, girls who aren’t really pretty and haven’t been chosen (bar fined) since 2003 but the bar needs them up on stage to give the appearance that the stage is full so guys will come inside). Also, the weekend nights had much better selection then Mondays and Tuesdays.

In talking to the girls, the house gives them 50 baht (about $1.20 US) for each drink that is purchased for them (which is about $3 US), but does not give them any of the bar fine you have to pay to take them for the evening (usually around 600 baht). Most of the girls receive a salary of about 10,000 baht each month. I was also surprised to learn that the girls can refuse to be bar fined – not sure if that’s true but that’s what I was told.

I know that some prefer getting several girls in each night or just having sex, however, I preferred taking a girl out on the town, and have her show me around (the local scene). My advice is that you select a few girls (separately) to have a drink with you until you find one that is “in” to you (and can somewhat speak your language). After the first night, my friend and I would each select a girl early (around 10pm) and head out for a night on the town. We ended up going to several underground establishments that stay open past the 1am curfew and also got to experience the local club scene at RCA (Royal City Avenue). We went to a club called Hollywood (or Hollywood Awards) and had a great time. We would either eat at a local establishment or order room service back at the hotel. The first night, I had a gorgeous girl named Bing and we had a great time, however, she didn’t really provide a GFE (no kissing, no shower together, etc.). The second time, I had a girl named Jing (note: coincidence that the names rhyme) who provided a complete GFE. Of course, I didn’t take a large enough sample to be scientific, but I would say that the prettier ones probably are less likely to provide a total GFE.

As far as money goes, well, Bing wanted 2000 short term and 3000 to stay until morning. Since it was already 5am and she had to leave by 10am I gave her 2000 (primarily because I wanted to sleep in). Jing never asked for money – she ended up staying with me until the next afternoon – however, was very thankful when I gave her 3000 baht. I’m certain she would have been happy with much less. Keep in mind that most of these girls share a 1-bedroom apartment with 3 other girls 30 minutes from the city, so taking one back to a luxury hotel with A/C and ordering room service at 3am and again at noon is probably something they do not get to experience all the time.

One interesting moment (out of many) was when I had asked a girl to have a drink with me. She was nice and only stayed a few minutes before asking whether she could return dancing up on the stage. I thought it was strange because 1) girls hate to dance on stage and 2) the idea is to drink with me to make money and possibly have her bar fined. After bar fining another girl and walking out in front of her, I couldn’t help notice the look of shock on her face. Apparently, since I was dressed in shorts and a tee-shirt (because it was so hot out) and look like I’m 29 years old, she must have thought I had no money (e.g., backpacker) amongst the more properly dressed and much older clientele.

Well this report is a few months (4) old but I thought I share it anyways.

Before I arrived, I tried to book at several hotels but they were all booked, guess it was high season at the time. Ended going to royal asia hotel, walkable to NEP but kind of a far hike. They had their own tuk tuk guy who dropped people off at the main street. Checked out the NEP. Went to Rainbow 2. About 5 to 8 girls on stage standing around. It was early in the night and not that crowded. Ordered a drink (125 bt) and watched the girls on stage. One in particular caught my eye, she was a hotty. Told one of the waitress there I was interested in her and she came over. She didnt talk much english but that was ok. Waitress asked if I wanted to get her a drink and I said sure. After drinks came waitress asked if I wanted to BF her. I asked how much, the BF was 600 b I think. So I agree and she went back to change and off we go, she asked where I was staying and I told her, but she never heard of it. Asked if I wanted to go upstairs but I said to go to my hotel room since its better, didnt want to pay extra $$ for the room upstairs.

We take a taxi back but taxi guy went down a road that was a dead end. He said he can do a uturn and go other way but its going to take awhile since lots of traffic, so he suggested we just hike the way back. We agree and left.

First thing we do when we got to the room is take a shower (seperately). Then we sat on the bed for a bit, was tired from walking lol, and watched some tv for about 5-10 mins. Then she asked me something in Thai, couldn't understand but when she did the hand motion , I said yes and she began to give me a cbj. She did a good job and soon we were in missionary position then doggy. It was great. We did other positions.

After we were done, I asked her if she wanted to stay the night, not sure if she understood but she said she wanted to go back so I paid her and we said goodbye. wished I could have spent more time with her but I had to fly out the next morning.
