Here is a report on CandyClub in Amsterdam, but it is also a report on information I gathered from an evening talking with local hobbyists about the Amsterdam sex club scene. I hope you find it useful. I have been to A'dam many years now, so I thought I was pretty familiar with things, but last night shows that there is always more to learn.

Use Google Map Street View to figure out what the place looks like. As you walk from the tram, you will be struck by the fact that this club is right in the middle - I mean right in the middle of a residential block. Pretty interesting. Walk up to the door, press the door bell, and the fun begins.

When you walk into the place, the office is on the left. There they will collect your money (40 euros when I went on Sunday evening), and they will take your coat or any other items you would like to drop off. They give you a ticket, which you give to the barman who will mark off your drinks as you get them. You pay for the drinks as you leave. From here, you walk about fifteen feet down a corridor, and bang - you are there. There is one large open room which is divided off into smaller more intimate areas, some of which can be blocked off with a curtain. As you take in the sights, you may notice a couple fucking away on the bed immediately in front of you. if you turn right, you will find a small bar area. It will take you about 45 seconds to check out the alcove areas, and your introductory tour is complete. I went to the bar, got a beer, and sat back to get the lay of the land, so to speak.

The first thing you notice is that a) almost everyone has their clothes on, and b), there is not the obligatory changing room and lockers where you change out of your clothes and are then given a towel which you feel obliged to carry around with you for the rest of the night. People drop clothes where they are as the need arises. I did not feel any issue of security about this. The place feels like a neighborhood bar where people just happen to go fuck, so it is not like other places in Amsterdam where you feel that if you take your eyes of something for a second, it will disappear.

As described in other reports, this place is essentially a brothel. It is the usual drill. There are lots of Eastern European girls (Romania, Bulgaria). For those of you who are still reading, here is a comparison of Club Paradise and Candy Club

- CC is very easy to get to if you do not have a car. You will have to get a taxi to get to CP
- CP has a great facility - probably five times the size of CC. CP has a sauna, a great indoor pool, and great private rooms.
- CP costs 70 Euros, CC costs 40 Euros on GB night
- CP seems to be a true swing club (some guys seem to bring pros there though). CC is mostly a brothel with GB night on Sunday evening
- CP you have to walk around holding a stupid towel all night, CC you can wear your clothes (or not) as the mood suits you
- CP if you are a single guy you will need to use your special powers of sexual persuasion to get any pussy. CC is P4P
- CP is in an industrial area, CC is in a neighborhood
