Never a truer word spoken....

There is another advantage that you also touched on. The girl’s mentality changes when she is on holiday, in a positive sense. I’ll tell girls upfront that we aren’t eating out everyday and should save some money for cultural excursions etc. They accept this without question and are genuinely interested in art and museums, next to lounging in parks or on the beach of course.
The biggest advantage is their gratification. I usually pick girls who are between 20-24 and have had limited travel experience. Taking them on a holiday to a glamorous place is worth GOLD to them in bragging rights to their friends. I really even think this is the most important thing to them.
A while back I took a girl to Venice. She still talks about it when we meet and she laughingly admits that she used our trip as bragging rights with her friends for almost 2 years.
“Dasha, you ever been to the Venice? No? Oh dear, poor you… having to go to Egypt again in the Spring with the poor people… Oh look, here is a picture of me in a gondola…” :)
All in all though, Russian girls make excellent sex travel companions.[/QUOTE]
Dr. S,
Again, you nailed it. I have found Russian girls great to travel with. I have tried the rendezvous in a 3rd location for a sex-weekend / mini-break an excellent investment. I was surprised at how knowledgeable they were in art and culture and how eager they were to experience life out of Moscow. Even a train-trip to Kiev was a like a magic carpet ride. I picked her up from the train station and you would have thought she just arrived in Paris. Nothing quite a like a woman on holiday.
I suppose this would be better classified in the "Dating Russian Women" category, but would like to share another little discovery I made with respect to gifts. On my way to Moscow I had a few hour layover in London Heathrow. Wandering by the Harrod's shop I noticed that they had these leatherette plastic shoulder bags for sale. Nothing too fancy but they came in dark green or black with a zipper on top and the recognizable Harrod's logo on the side emblazoned in gold (paint). They were on sale for about $25 each so a I bought a few just for the hell of it.
After being in Moscow for a week I presented one of these little shoulder bags to a strip club dancer I had been dating. Well, you would think I had brought her Gucci or Prada. She was over the moon with delight and eternally grateful (wink, wink). She immediately stuffed her other bag in the Harrod's bag and proudly paraded down Tverskaya with her new trophy after leaving my apartment. Probably the best bang for 25 bucks I have ever had!!!!!
Will wonders never cease?
Nashe radio ("Our" radio)
On a cultural note.
It has been talked many times here of the importance to be a bit "culturally aware" to woo Russian women. Russians are really suckers for their own culture. For that matter, the knowledge of the existence of Nashe Radio inevitably boosts your position. Its chart is the major rock music chart in Russia. Many many devs love it (even if admittedly many also like electro-pop shit) or at least appreciate it for its 100% Russian programation and its unconditional faith in Russian musical culture. In any case, mentionning it scores you points.

The main characteristic of Russian rock is being partly folk-rock, with unconventional instruments used in addition to the standard electric guitars and drums(like violin, accordion or wind instruments). Lyrics play also a large role, with many references to Russian literature, poetry and national themes. I personally really like Russian rock and Nashe is definitively my favorite radio worldwide.
