Today, like Mike described, Dubai has become a hell of expensive place: shopping malls (brand stores) are much more expensive than in Europe, food&beverage is more or less the same prive level than in Europe and entry fee to hotel bars (!) is absolutely cheeky (especially when there's no drinks included).

There's more or less the same price level than in Europe, but the salaries for "normal" jobs, like sales stuff in malls are way less than in Europe.

That's in my opinion the reason, why so many stunners from CIS etc. Have left Dubai and continued to other mongering destinations where they can make more money.

Thailand is today full of russians (!). For me that's like bringing sand to the beach.

Nowadays, it is more than important to create up a network out of reliable persons to share contacts of good performers.

Unfortunately, my Dubai activities have gone down and I don't come so often any more, but when my boss decides to reactivate the business here, I'm the last no deny.

My experience is a little different. I've had some good luck talking to the girls in the garden area of rattlesnakes. Sometimes I never actually entered the club. Isn't the entry with a free drink? I've always found Taxis well priced in Dubai. From 10 to 30 dhs. My best clubs would have to be Regal, Paranormal (for fun) and rattlesnakes in that order. I like the Arab, Stani girls in Regal and the party atmosphere there. I always seem able to find 2 or 3 I like and then I have to make a choice. When I go to rattlesnakes I walk around twice and scan and find what I like. Its fun.

That's like 1274 aed a week, $350 us per week. That's a little different.

All the girls ask for an extra 50 Euro for anything at fkk Palace. They even ask an extra 50 euros for a GF experience. And I always hated standing around like a polar bear in a dressing gown. If your going to Germany go the RLD in Frankfurt, that's the business and a real adventure. 20 to 30 Euros a shot. I found some wonderful girls there. So much so I'm going back again soon ).

What I like about Dubai is that you can have LT in your own hotel. Sometimes I've had girls stay for breakfast and longer. One time last year I found a leggy blond Russian in Paranormal at 8 pm and she stayed till 8 am. I quite agree with you about the Hyatt Regency, there club Premiere is hopeless, I've been now about 6 times and never found anything I liked, and I can't stand the body search upon entry. Everyone just stands around like a nerd. That place is a rip off.

If you are a resident, you don't notice the changes as readily. Nope, disagree with you here. Palace can be a rip-off, true, and I never go there. Go to Oase or World. Go anywhere else and its 50 Euros entrance. You should NEVER be short shanged on time. If you are, go straight to reception. Even when you "finish" you can stay with the girl until half an hour is up if you want. GFE is not extra. Only at Palace do they try that. If they do then tell them to stuff it. Bear also in mind its a spa / sauna facility and you can stay all day and all food and drink (including beer in some places) is included.

I am glad LT still exists as a concept. I did get it last year with a leggy blonde Russian but she turned wierd on the second night. Russians can be a bit mad sometimes, if you ask me.

However, on a one week trip I will not have the local knowlege to root out the bargains, even with six years of Dubai-visiting experience behind me. Thats what I mean by a "mongering destination". If I lived there I would have lots of numbers on my phone as back-ups on bad nights, and other such devices to ensure satisfaction.

When Dubai has priced itself out of the Market as a tourist destination Worldwide, when Hotel prices are crazy, Bar prices crazy, yet the Girls are forced to stay at 500 to 1500 average price otherwise nobody can afford them, then of course their numbers and quality will inevitably decline.

At the end of the day, they are truly affected by market forces and they are luxury items that can be dispensed with on a trip if needs be. Almost everything else in Dubai is competition restricted and operates like a monopoly or cartel. Hence they can keep squeezing the price up.

A very good series of reports from Mike De H and other contributors on the state and movement of mongering in sandy Dubai. Differences of experiences and opinions will always be of interest and value, particular from several long time mongerers in a locale. Time moves on and so does the girls and the ethos of a place. Hopefully, mongers also move on to different experiences otherwise life would be dull.

It does appear that Dubai has seen shifts in providers and attitudes since the wilder days of those intrepid Explorers such as to name a few Piper1, MyKapitan, JustsumFun etc. Etc. Apoligies to other stalwarts not named but whose reports have been enjoyed.

Might be planning a first visit to Dubai myself this year, but am fully conscious that times past may not be times present. As any monger, optimism is a primary requisite for the hobby. Surprises as well as Happy Endings do happen.

Just had a nice massage in MP near to MP located behind al maya. Got massage and HE for 200+200. Very clean and nice place with shower in private room. Have been in places cheaper that don't have privacy or a good shower option. The also offered free non alcohol drinks. Worth the 200 for massage alone.

I'll be back in Dubai in early Feb for more than two weeks. Will have the weekends free, staying downtown in hotel / apartments of my hoice. Do you still stay at the Paranormal these days? Have stayed there myself for up to 4 nights in the past, but not for a couple of years now. I was in Jockeys for an inspection visit during my trip in January. Offered 400 Dhs for one shot from a not unattractive Ghanaian (Nigerian?). Rest of bar not very busy as it was a Saturday, a few rough looking CIS around. Always good for a fairly relaxed coupleof drinks before moving on. Haven't picked up there for a year though.

I will be the first one to admit that I am a cynic and can be paranoid about things but there is something that I have noticed on the board and on several of the Dubai threads. I've noticed that there has been a bit of an increase of members with 0-10< posts asking for very specific information on girls, hotels, etc. Normally this would not bother me, a simple RTFF and you're good to go. However, what I have noticed is that a lot of these posters write in such a way that you can tell that they are not native English speakers. Again, not an issue, as there are plenty of board members for whom English is not their first language. When I looked at some of their other posts (I know, I have waaayyyyy too much time on my hands) there would be contradictions. A couple of posters would ask about Analyn, for example, and state that they would be coming to Dubai for the first time. Yet, on another thread they would have used the same "first time in Dubai" line several months prior. I've noticed this several times, which to me make possibly more than a coincidence.

If I have offended with my theory I do apologize but it would seem to me that local LE my be trolling the boards to set up stings, etc. I'd rather too careful than not careful enough. Just be careful out there.

Just want to add my 2 cents. I do agree with Nickc, there are still gems to be found in DXB, esp. The LT take back to the hotel. I think there is room for everything, FKK, RLD and bar girls. I cannot really compare to the old days myself, but it seems a common thread whether people talk about the old days in Czech or Kiev, so Dubai is not that different.

As far as FKKs are concerned, yes, most will offer a GFE at no extra cost, but to me it has never been the same level of GFE in an FKK than I had the pleasure to get in Dubai with a LT girl back in my hotel. I also agree that whole setup is not for everyone's taste. It's certainly not comparable to having a drink in a girlie bar and chat and hunt around.

Finally, FKKs are nowadays dominated by Romanians, while I had good times with them, they are technically not Slavic and just not the same as a hot Ukrainian or Russian girl. For those, going to Eastern Europe is still the best option.

I do find that sometimes it helps to book ahead with hotels for a cheaper rate. I'm not a resident, but I kind of wish I was, I just pass through on the way to and from home in the Pacific. I know personally that both Oase and World are 65 euro entry. Though I do agree in a way its worth it if your in the mood for a long night. Personally I struggle to get past the RLD in Frankfurt. I do terrible things like I turn up with flowers for the girls. Yeah I do) Makes them laugh anyway. I always find I get a far better response if their laughing. Oops! Maybe I shouldn't say that here. I'll be the guy at Paranormal bar handing out flowers. Ha!

I was aware of that change in Paranormal policy. Think it also applies if you're bringing in an external takeaway. Used to be 100Dhs for your temporary guest, I never had the foresite to have booked a room for double occupancy! The hunt commences soon in the triangle of fun.

I too think Dubai is still ok. Traveling in Europe I find prices much steeper than can be had in Dubai. Where can you get a girl back to your place for a full night and if you are lucky for half the next day as well for under $300? My fav ar e filis and I find them to be very good GFEs well worth the money spent. For this amount it's just 1 quick pop in most European countries. Now a days I try to abstain (on diet as my freinds tell me) when I travel and splash out when I get back to Dubai.
