New train from airport to city.
The NEW fast/cheap train connecting the airport with the city is finally open.
The City Line has several stops, Phyathai Station, Rajprarop Station, Makkasan Station and Ramkhamhaeng Station. Since this new service offers quick-cheap travel from the airport, I'd like to stay near one of these stations.
I have NO clue where these stations are or which area is best to stay near.
Any suggestions as to which station to stay near when in BKK would be helpful. Hotel suggestions would also be appreciated in the 1500-2000THB or so price range.
Last time in Thailand I had a blast (including pixs I posted) and I'd like to have as good an experience.

Tried few days ago, when it was still free, but no direct line. Actually the only connection with BTS is at Phia Thai station (5 min. from Nana or Asoke station). You have to take exit 4, go down the stairs and walk right for about 50 meters. It takes 25 minutes to arrive airport. You arrive at floor 1. Very quick. Only downside are the loss of an escalator at skytrain station (if you have a heavy baggage), in the train there is no rooms to put baggage (but maybe in direct line one it can change) and expecially the loss of connection with other mass transit systems.

Quick report - SOL, Mike's, and Kangaroo club
Tried SOL tonight around midnight. The three girls outside literally did not say a word to me. I chatted with (better said "at") them for about a min and they just gave me fake smiles and went back to sms'ing. Asked them if I could go inside and they gave a kind of "sure, whatever" look, so I just passed. Guess I got there way too late. So for info sake, don't bother going there late - was a really "un-Thai" like experience.
So just past SOL is Mike's, hidden away a bit down a small alley. Went in, girls were on me like white on rice, but I wanted to sit for a second and order a drink and check out which one I wanted. This apparently meant "waste of time" to them and they immediately ambushed a guy that followed me in. I just had my drink, chatted for a (very) short time with the bartender girl (who was neither friendly nor unfriendly) and went to Kangaroo. No lookers anyway, though I guess I would have stayed if the girls put any effort beyond the ambush style.
Kangaroo was fine. Nothing super special, but low key enough and got a fairly decent BJ. They charged me 800, but I got the feeling that it should have been 700. Whatever, it's $3 extra. Nothing great to say about the place but nothing bad either. Was just a convenient BJ with very low effort, and enough girls to at least get a choice. The place is run a lot better than Mike's for sure.
Unfortunate about SOL as had a great experience there before. Again, I'm assuming it's better in the afternoon before the girls are worn out.

Anyone been, and know the deal there in terms of takeout, fees, etc.?
