200 €/week is IMHO not realist.

Difficult nowadays in Bucuresti to find a studio, even spartan, for less than 50 €/day.

Prices of one bedroom apartments have also increased. Minimum 65 € and up to 110€/day. I was in town last weekend and couldn't find anything less than 85 €.

Furthermore you rarely get more than 5% discount for a one week stay, and 10% for two weeks. Romanians are greedy and harsh negotiators.

IMHO Bucharest is not at all bad. But ofcourse if you are not careful and don't look after yourself or your wallet then for that matter even Bangkok is bad.

You should not mistake TAO for a place with prostitues as no sex is allowed.

That being said, the massage (I went for the erotic massage) is abolutely great, to the point where I actually decided to come back.
