The good news for someone who "don't know nothing" is that Jackson provides a search feature on this site. Enter "mall hunting" and click Indonesia and you will find more than 80 reports to help answer your questions. Happy reading!
The bad news is that some members ask question after question but then do not post about their own experiences. Totobiscot, I see you asking questions about Macau, Penang, Singapore, Bangkok and (several recently) about Jakarta. I understand it will be difficult for you to post anything before you actually visit Jakarta, but how about adding to the posting reports for the other locations where you have been asking for help?
I have nothing much to add to the many (some very detailed and excellent) reports on hunting for poon in malls. I consider it much more difficult and hit-or-miss among the pay-for-play options, so I frankly seldom try it. The few times that I have scored in a mall, I guess it had more to do with luck than with my hunting skills. Maybe it was the case that "she" was hunting me (smile).
No harm trying if you have a few hours to kill, and certainly pleasant enough to plant yourself at a coffee-bar or a food-court table and watch the many women walk past. But unless you are working a mall that is "known" for pick-ups, like say Atrium, then consider yourself lucky if you get more than a few phone-numbers for later follow-up. It does help to be reasonably well-dressed (I don't mean coat and tie), to have a ready smile and to know at least a smattering of bahasa Indonesia, along the lines of "Mau minum" (would you like a drink)?
I agree with Smoothy. While it is true that I have been turned down by women in both BATS and CJ's who were asking for more, I also have never spent a million rupiah on a woman anywhere in Indonesia. In fact, the most I have ever given was 500k, plus funding both room-service food and a (duty-free) bottle of wine during a break in the action.
I feel a little bit guilty for encouraging any high-rollers here to sample the 3 to 7 million rupiah asking price from the pimp whose contact number I supplied, but only a little (grin). The way I look at it, this pimp has a business that is the equivalent of the hotel mini-bar where you can pay US$4 or $5 for the same drink that you can buy from a mini-mart for less than $1.
So I plead guilty to encouraging over-spending, but with three caveats: One, several people are asking for high-priced contacts. Two, I make very clear that I find the value-for-money not worth it, so I have never tried. Three, I truly will like to know whether anyone ever finds something so special from one of these Hartono-type places that they claim the price to have been worth it . . . and not simply a mini-bar-like overcharge for identical pussy.
Now for the obligatory poon report (smile) - last week in Jakarta, I met a moonlighting nurse in the bar at the Marriott. Not my usual haunt, but I was there for a drink, and she was clearly cruising me with an inviting smile, so I approached her and we left together 5 minutes later. Her name is Fifi (maybe she spells it Vivi) and she is around 1.6m, 42-45 kg, B-cup, with a flat stomach and a pert little ass. I picked her up early, so we were back at my hotel (not the Marriott) by 11 pm.
Got two very enthusiastic rounds in before sleeping and another vigorous session beginning around 6:30 am before taking her down to the taxi at 7:45. Total damage - 500 thousand, and she was plainly delighted. She has already emailed me since to invite a repeat performance.
Smoothy is right - half-a-million rups still goes a very long way in Jakarta. You can often pay less - 400k is normal for Blok-M pick-ups - and I have "never" felt like I was settling for less than what I wanted. If your first choice wants more money than 400-500, my advice is keep looking. You will almost certainly find a lady nearly as nice (if not even better) at your price-point. Happy hunting . . .
Speaking of duty free booze, I noticed that Carrefour stopping selling anything except beer. This is a huge bummer if you enjoy normally-priced cocktails in the comfort of your room (and didn't stock up on the way through baggage claim.
However, there is a "duty-free" wine and booze shop in the basement shopping area of the Intercontinental hotel in Mid Plaza. Just enter the main lobby, take the escalator down, and you'll see it near the bottom of the escalator. There is a sign out front that states "diplomatic passports required" for the sale, but I've been buying there for 4 years with not a second look. Prices are not as good as airport duty free, but not a rippoff either.
Just a note for those interested.
To bad my usual fave haunts like TC, MTr etc will be closed down...will try something new I guess.
Hotel tracel or classic seems interestiung.
Anyway have firends locally..they should help me out with more ramadan places.Should be interesting.
Only concern./..lets noty hope they start to raid during this time.
You are right brother, I apologize, I will try to let you know about my experiences in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia (KL, Kuching and Miri) Paris and London. I'm from France and my writing is not very prosaic. Anyway I will try to catch up and write.
Thanks a lot for you advices and for the info you gave me.
If I write information about my experiences in those countries, should I go in the specific countries forums or can I write in this one?
I'm scared about not finding girls during my stay from 12th October to 16th October because this Ramadan fasting month you all talk about. Does anyone have contacts for girls that you have tried before and that are nice and that you can share? I don't have much time to look around and I would like to go straight to the point.
Thanks a lot guys
Hi All,
Was going to Singapore for some work and decided to add Jakarta for the weekend for some mongering. Am a bit confused with the Ramadan issue and am seeing confusing report. Can i please request members to assist with some firm advice as well as info on what options and locations will be available in this period. Have no interest in paying"5" times of any price. Am normally used to good sweet young pickups from BATS OR TIGGA PULU or similar for around 100$ for the night and always had a good GFE kind of experience.
Assistance Please Guys!
Also, if the answer is still positive and anyone is keen to join in, please write back.
Thanks in adavnce guys and I hope the answers are all YES!
Generally, Ramadan is OK, but I have seen some tricky moments in the past. Usually it is politically motivated, not religious. I have seen it when you go to block M and everything is mysteriuosly closed. Next night it is open, but very quiet. In this case, better to stick to the hotle bars, but even they are sometimes shut. It probably won't happen to you, but jsut be aware that it can and go with the flow.
Best thing is to have a drive you trust who knows the score and can check things out for you. Also he can wait so you don't have to try to find a taxi late at night.
I wouldn't be concerned, just keep your eyes open.

Hi Guys,
Been back a while from JKT but had some technical difficulties, but I am online now.
Just a word of caution about the SPA in the airport, be careful with your money.
On my way from JKT to BKK I had some time before my flight so I decided to try the 'family' massage at the airport spa.
During my massage someone mamaged to steal 400,000 IDR from my wallet.
And this is true, I am not making this up. I knew how much money was in my wallet before I went in because I was calculating at the exchange counter, converting IDR to TB.
During my massage the girl insisted in covering my head with a towel (guess that should have tipped me off). And during the 30 mins somehow managed to remoe my wallet from my pants they were hanging on the wall and remove the money from my wallet.
They didn't take all of the money just some of it, they left enough for me to pay for the massage and the exit tax.
So a word of caution, if someone covers your head with a towel during a massage, be aware of what may happen.
I didn't think much of it beacuse usually in BKK when you get a massage theis sort of stuff never happens, I can say that with assurance.
But I just can't believe how dishonest the Indonesians are. There are many instances where people try to deceive me with exchange or wrong change.
And never expect any change from a taxi driver.
But I still love the place, I have never had so much attention from girls in all my life.
It's a great place to pick up girls.

I think you should research the dates you put up as I don't think you are visiting during Ramadan. Also, I still think $100 in BATs and places are too much. To me there are some pretty hot women but at the same time there are a lot of women who look like they might not even be even able to sell their wares at Blok M. It's a lot of smoke and mirrors to me.
Also, I still think $100 in BATs and places are too much.
Agreed. If you are paying near $100 usd for a Bats or Tiga Puluh girl, she better darn well be the absolute hottest girl in the place. Even then it's too much. But I guess it depends on the number of dudes relative to the number of chicas there that given night.
I had honestly never even known anyone who paid that much in Jakarta until recently a friend of mine admitted that he used to give that much when he was visiting on business because he didn't know any better. But given that you are reading this site, I would think that you already know that $100 usd is almost double the going rate.

Hi Bkk212..
* What was the spa's name ? just mention bro...and if you remember her name just PM me...I will spread this thing to some friend.
** I believe there's no procedure like covering somebody's head with towel, only from leg to neck.
Some wellknown spa have very strict regulations; stealing money from guest ? she will be fired directly.
sorry to hear your bad exp,
cheers.
For me it's better with PRC WG than with Hartono agency or anything else.
For 3 millions waw.
Damn. I'the rather take 2 times with PRC WG (1. 5 millions) with 90 minutes duration. Or 3 times with PRC WG in Tematic Spa (1 million) with 60 minutes duration (if I had those bucks hehehe). And don't ever trust agency in newspaper. Trust me!
Sorry no offence,
Cheers

Huh... I went twice and the refused to sell me anything. Is your experience recent?
I am buying my duty free from this shop in Fatmawati Mas along Fatmawati of course.... I think it's the only place that still say yellow card welcome??
But stock is rather low when last checked..... They say shipment is in but having quota problem.... Not sure why though... Stock can only be cleared after ramadan....
Hope the above helps...
Hi Rainman,
Do I get you right? The fuckshops listed by you will be open and working during Ramadan as these are listed as hotels ? And what about the law of supply and demand ? Will the rates go up? Thnx
I am very sure. That's the trick.... Open our so called Hotel. I think there is a min no of rooms and floor to be a hotel front but real fuck shop inside.
I really like Maliboro... Very nice sexy show in the late evening. They serve good food too.
Cheers
