Also I don't like the fact these days passions they don't let you touch and feel the girls like it used to be. Nowadays, they tend to stand in the enclosed area mostly. You can get a good grind / dancing / dfk at Classico for a few drinks. Passions is a good place to go earlier in the day. I agree you can see the goods at Passions, during my last trip I had a bad experience at Classico, it was Tue night, one of the slowest, and a 36 yr old Santiago mami wearing some tight corset inside passed off for a 25 yr. She lied to me, I felt something was not right but she was the type that wouldn't let go, and after we went back to the room and she took her clothes off, I did not even want to do her for free. It was hard re negotiating and getting rid of her, long story short - hotel security involved- I'd's checked for 'overage' etc. shit happens.

It is true there are lots of private parties arranged by locals for distiguished customers. One beatifull girl I met from La Vega confirmed this. She looked like a European tourist. I met her at the casino. I bought her couple of drinks and one thing led to another and she ended up staying with me for 5 days. We did lots of fun things together since I had a rented van.

She told me she mostly goes to these private parties through her contacts and make lots of money. She said she does not go to bars. I do not believe all her story, I am sure she goes to bars as well. All these girls pretend to be high class but will not pass up a chance to make quick bucks.

I have seen and witnessed Passion girls at the Discos. One perticular girl I took to my room (because I did not like their room) stayed with me couple of hours. She also said all girls go home after work when asked if they go freelancing. Later I found her and her friends in classico. She just smiled. So I am sure these girls also will not pass up a chance to make bucks or meet other patrons.

R towns with a 25% chance to hook up with a girl walking by and catching my fancy, why would I even bother? The fun is in the chase, along with the chagrins and disappointments that do occur. I would try it at home too, but fat chances for a middle-aged man even without a pot belly! And if there are other countries like the D. R, within a "short flying distance from the NorthEast", as Jaosousa puts it, I would like to hear of them so as to try those too! LOL.

It can be negative or positive or it can be sneaky and underhanded. But not all Black guys are hip hoppers. Thats like saying all white guys are metal (heavy metal) heads.

There is a new breed of Black mongerers in big groups that are different from before. First let me say I have never felt unsafe around these guys, and I have NEVER seen them causing trouble. Before when Brazil was hot Sosua was able to fly under the radar. Plus Brazil had exotic looking women who sport fucked like champions. Back then there was several direct flights from NY, hence the influx of new mongerers from NYC. Those mongeres had their own style and walked around Sosua in packs during the day. They were part of the side show that was daytime Sosua. I enjoyed the show personally. They didn't know the language and usually would get the street tramps most seasoned mongerers wouldn't touch. They would over pay and loved the attention. The funny part was when you would see one of these guys get soft and break from his boys to get wifed up. They would give the kids some of their clothes and tip the street beggars. Then they would go to NY to save for the next six months to go to the DR to see that hot Dominicana that has been crying on the phone saying" I miss you Popi". They were just young guys living life and I miss them compared to the new breed.

Now that Brazil has been shut down we have more affluent travelers who were conditioned to the sport fucking scene. These are hardcore mongerers with no compassion for a poor girl. Also the slowdown in daytime activities in Sosua changed the attitudes of these guys. Now its a night party at Classicos to meet a girl to sport fuck for an hour. No GFE, no cultural expirience, no learning the language and no compassion for the girls. Anyone who breaks from the group and gets soft risks ribbing when back in the states. No walking around holding hands, no dinners, no getaway trips, just Classicos to score and bragging about how hardcore you were during breakfast.

My Uncles back in the day had their group but they were smooth and respectful. They (Frat brothers of my Uncles) stayed at Blackbeards, most learned Spanish, and they showed the girls a good time. No fast hardcore shit. When I first stumbled onto what they were doing in the DR I thought they were soft, but they were just cool dudes. They had girls everywhere. The Universities, Santiago, Santo Domingo and Sosua. They had all ranges from Business owners to resort girls to students. Whenever I would see them it would be three males and five chicas packed into a Honda CVR. Girls would be hanging out the windows. Then they would do a date with their main girls who were usually from Santiago. They would all get dressed up and go to dinner on Cabarete beach, then dancing, then romantic sex with their favoritas. One is a Judge, one owns 16 Mcdonalds, one played pro football, and one is a lawyer. My points is these were successful guys who were down to earth and enjoyed the country and the women, and the women loved them. But nowaday I ask the new mongerers' Where is the love"?

I am not familiar with the "black group" of the past that you are speaking of nor for that matter, the new hardcore types. Fact is, I do not know Sosua (and DR for that matter) except my first trip or so (even then I stayed away from the main street events) and I prefer to travel solo so I can soak in whatever I can. This is where reading yours and others' thoughts are a revealing experience per se, for me, not to speak of learning.

I am a dark skinned guy and primarily color blind. When I say a "breed apart", it just means that. Instead of codifying using color, language, caste, and what have you, in this case I have used "hip hop" as the qualifier. No value judgment. Besides, hip hop is predominantly but "not always" black even though the music does not do it for me, nor does heavy metal for that matter, LOL.

I would like to think, I am like you, in that I want the complete experience and not merely the heartless bragging right thing. Coming from where I come from, I know I came with nothing and will go with nothing so trying to enjoy the ride with fellow travelers for as long as it lasts.

P.S.: I certainly do not feel threatened by this group -loud and stand out as they might be....in this case, even more so, after all, we share a common passport and a certain cultural heritage.

AA's responsible for Sosua's demise? I doubt it, what about the shitty Hotel establishments with cockroaches running across the floor or A / C that doesn't work, not to mention the hard core putas. What about airfare into POP charging Rio fare prices or the cancellation of the Delta flights? What about the biggest economic downturn since the Great Depression? First, I want to point out that I am AA. Damn, the brothers still got to get most of the blame for everything wrong with the world. I guess nothing has truly changed when a skinny, disrespectful, little beatch can point her finger in the Prez face, but I'll leave that alone.

One can not predict the behavior of some solely based on material characteristics. Personally, I've never caused the slightest issue in the DR and I don't go looking for it. I never bring ANY of my jewelry or expensive watches with me. Some trips I've wifed up chicas and some I sportfucked. I can not be painted with broad strokes and won't let anybody box me in.

Like some said earlier, show me a place with similar quality and quantity with the same travel time and cost as the DR and I'm on it! A lot of us visit the DR because we (all mongers) can't find a replacement. I visit also to get a break from the racist bs that I experience daily in Chicago (most segregated city in the US).

Those hip hoppers that many of you trash are just trying to have a good time and emulate the lives of celebrities in the States. It is their break from reality. Why the fuck anyone cares about how they go about their business is beyond my understanding. As long as they are respectful and not causing havoc, nobody can judge or tell someone how to act.

The real threat to the DR these days is airfare. I used to be able to find flights for a little under $400. Now, all flights to POP are roughly $600 no matter what time of the year. That is some real bs.
