Once pre & post-pandemic, Cartagena. Pre-pandemic, Medellin (only and last in 2014). Since the re-open I really prefer to hang out in Bogota mainly out of convenience. On a 5-7 day trip, making local connections to other cities adds another 2.5 hrs each way and that's only if all goes well.

Do I think SA is worth it? Personally and strictly speaking about SA as it relates to Colombia, I would say no. There is just a lot and I mean too many women and many of them are easy to talk to or connect with. The same women by and large on SA are on Tinder / Bumble and Latin / Colombian-cupid for a fraction of the cost. So, I've done my research and read the forums before heading to Bogota. I've been to Cartagena before, but this would be my first time in Bogota besides transiting through the airport. My hotel was north of the Zona T and the area I was in was very nice and safe. One thing I was surprised about is the quality of the food in the Zona Rosa and how cheap it is. There are many great restaurants and costs about a third of what you would pay for an equivalent dish in the US. I booked a tour with Woodman and I am glad I did. Even within the Santa Fe area there are areas that are a few blocks apart that are vastly different in quality of girls and safety. During the tour we ran into two other ISG members he gave a tour too prior. You know who you are my canadian and german friend. I ended up hanging out with those two many times during my trip and we had a blast.

Here are some of my takeaways. The immediate area around the clubs are the safest. As a first time visitor I would stick around the block with the clubs where Fiebre and Paisas are. If you plan to visit Santa Fe, plan your trip so you are there Thursday through Saturday. The rest of the days are so dead. Probably 3 of the 5 nights I was there, the police bus was parked in the area. It was the size of a full greyhound bus. I found it very amusing and I think it provided a level of safety. Even if it did look like they were just there to collect payments.

Next report I'll provide reports on the girls I tried in Santa Fe.

Today I took a tour around the area directly south of the main part of Santa Fe. Starting at calle 19 just past Avenida Caracas, I hung a right on cra 15 bis. Santa Fe is an interesting place. It definitely has a level of raunchiness you can appreciate. I made the rounds to the different blocks to see what was on offer.
