I believe all Spring shops have the same menu- two options to choose from. 298 RMB is basic he. 398 RMB is XT and sometimes KJ. Just remember the Chinese for those two numbers, or write it down. That's all you need.

You made some girl you met in Manhattan your long time GF and have been hanging there for a long time, it gives you an edge compared to the guy who just goes there from time to time.
But as much as he overpaid with his 3 k you are below the market with your 1 k and most transactions happen in between.
I often go to the same MPs and girls usually give me a level of service better than the average joe because they know I'm an old timer and the shop manager reminds the new ones when I try them.
Being a repeat customer does get you favors but don't consider that the normal market.

The prices have gone up some but not 3000 as the OP paid. they have not gone up that much. I was there in March of this year. I did not know any of the girls I took home. Each happily accepted 1000 for ST and 2 pops. (some didn't and I moved on). One girl I did a repeat performance with on a Sunday night (which is slow) for 1000 for all night. Yes I had her once before but won't say we are steady.
1000 all night is gone I agree. 600-800 is possible with a 6 ST . The 7-8 girls get 1000 ST and 9's (I've never seen a 10 that I can remember) want 1500ST (usually say no at 2 pops for that) and 2000-3000 LT.
I agree the prices are up from over 8-9 years ago. Heck even the legit MPs have doubled from what i used to pay
prices on the viets are up less as there is a never ending pool of girls trying to make their fortune. there has been inflation however.
It can be done, you just have to be willing to walk on to the next one. Buom was a great time and only 1000 for a couple hours. I have no idea what LT would have been but I would have gladly paid it.

We had a follow-up discussion where I acknowledged 3 k was high but given quality of girl and Saturday night at 11 pm peak, did not seem "crazy" for LT. Hard to imagine how 1 k is possible anymore in a city like Shanghai considering the cost of living there.

Never ever agree on a price with the first person that comes up and talks to you. Be picky and you'll be amazed at the quality / cost that you can find.

Her body was decent, but the face was a 5 for sure. She was a little desperate as she "wasnt Lucky in shanghai" . It was because she was a 5!. Anyway, the longer she sat next to me the better she looked. I finally took her back to the room for 1000 all night (just this last March).
She wasn't the best looker but sure made up for it. Popped me 3 times and was willing to do 4. I was not up for it. Also licked me well and did everything else I wanted. Although very compliant, I wish I had chosen a higher quality girl. Which I did every night after.
I have a 22 hour layover in Shanghai in a couple weeks. Can anyone suggest where to stay for some fun that day? Is somewhere near the airport good, or should I look farther out? I don't speak any Chinese (only Korean) so getting around and communicating is going to be difficult, so that's a consideration for me. If there is already a resource for this, please let me know. I've been poking around but can't seem to find anything.

Walk out the door in the back and go to Manhattans and JUdy's bars which are the street behind the hotel. Drink at the bar, flirt with the girls, Pick one (or two). Walk back to the hotel room finish the evening there. Quick nap and and take a cap (worse case an hour) back to the airport. You do have to watch traffic to the get the one hour time.
That is what I would do. Other option is grab a hotel and call Rain or SNG and have something delivered.
Saunas are an option but pudong, (airport side) is kinda bleak.
22 hours is enough time to have a lot of fun. I have arrived in shanghai by 2, in my hotel by 4, massage and dinner by 6. Nap and off to the bars at 10 pm (don't go earlier, they aren; t there yet) girl to room by midnight, Toss her out by 2 or 3 and nap til 7-8 am.
Thats about 16 hours with time to get to the gate!

The time also varies. For instance, if you go prime-time expect prime-time prices but go early like 9 pm-11 pm or go late (or early in the AM) like 2 am-4 am and there are definite hottie bargains in this range. I will be there 14 and 15 of July and then 21 of July. Want to grab a drink let me know.
