Sounds like an interesting story, if we are still on for next Sat get together I hope to hear the tale. In manila now heading over tomorrow to BKK.

Busy. Just come back from Singapore. This thread is basically now used from our guests to write about their experiences here. And obviously nobody has to write something - it must be a boring place!
So many things going on, the occupancy of the hotel is quite high, and we had a mega event 2 weeks ago with more than 500 people here at Livingstone's. Still recovering from that.
And then - the Vice President was here, for some days. In those days I am completely occupied, no time to write anything. Always rolling out the red carpets at all places where he walks ... that is hard work!
When is your next trip to Bangkok?

Correct, as usual I am COMPLETELY INNOCENT :) . Would never touch Bengali Girl - I consider it to be your private property. But there are those BESTARDS running around, hunting everything with 2 legs and a ... whatever.
Let's wait whether we get details about that incident in 5 star last week :) .

Catering to the VP is hard work indeed. Next time roll out the pink carpets and you will have an easier time. :)
You do need to post some pictures of your Saturday night parties. Keeps the juices flowing, you know.
Alas, my project has been delayed, so my trip has to be postponed to mid January for now.

Sorry to say the story about Bengali girl, and 5 Star, is basically a non starter. I met a complete newbie to BKK, he came over to Livingstone for a look-see, but it was above his budget. I took him to Cowboy, where we sat and watched the lesbian show at Suziewong. The look on his face was more interesting than the show itself. I think he still has bruises on his chin. He nearly fell off his stool, trying to get within 3 inches of the slurping. We then proceeded to 5 Star to listen to the really good band, and Bengali girl was there. I told her Piper misses her, she smiled and said "I go with you", her only 4 words of English. I SMS'd Piper in the Land of Sand to tell him I was with his best girl. He was crestfallen. ;)
Wish there was something more substantial to report.
Tansak, I will be there next Saturday, my last night there before heading to the beach with my GF. Hope to run into you for a drink.
G, the red carpet is looking a bit thread bare. Please get me a nice new thick one for next week. Thanks :)

Oh I'll be there after suffering through a huge delay getting in yesterday then other problems all night, and now having problems with my regular, probaby time for change.

It looks ok now. The water is perfectly clean, but the tiles ...
Luckily the specialists found out what had caused the problem. The circulation pump broke 8 weeks ago, and our pool maintenance company took it our for reparation. That lasted 5 (!!!) weeks. During this time the pump started to rust ... and when they installed the repaired pump the rust was pumped into the water, and had this "beautiful" coloring effect on the tiles.
This week we will add some chemicals to the water, lower the PH value, and everybody hopes that the chemical reaction will be reverted. Otherwise we need to empty the pool to clean that mess up. And then we will also exchange that pump to a plastic one, to avoid that problem happening again.
Its rather frustrating to work with this 'high qualified' Thai companies.
