The live seafood restaurants in Manila
I don't mean to offend anyone. I am only trying to bring more info into this subject
Perhaps the live seafood market and the cook-for-hire restaurants near the mall of Asia are competitive by local standards. But the offered varieties are limited and very expensive, like 3x live sea food prices in California. In addition you would have to pay the restaurants fees to cook the food for you. These restaurants are just plain eating rooms with flat bright fluorescent lights and no decor, nothing resembling fine dining. There were not too many clients the night I was there.
Given that the Phil is a bunch of islands with great access to the Pacific, the small available varieties and extremely high prices of live seafood just do not make sense. Something is not working right in this market.
Compared that to the myriads of live seafood restaurants in most cities in China with abundant availabilities of all kinds of live, fresh, tasty, exotic sea foods all day all night, expertly cooked and exquisitely presented and served in elegant restaurants for prices about half to one third prices in California.
Check out a few images of the Tairyo teppanyaki steak and seafood chain in major cities in China. Dinner for about $15, the Tairyo offers all you can eat and drink all night from a menu of hundreds items of meats, sea foods, vegetables, beers, wines, sakes, juices, deserts etc. Elegantly cooked fresh and served on teppanyaki tables in front of you:

Got to admit, the young girls and the food in China are abundant, very delicious and cheap in global comparison. it's very nice to have beautiful girls and good food in the same location withotu breaking the banks. I recommend the bros to try this teppanyaki restaurant if you visit any major cities in China.
Now China is bringing her massive Navy to take over the islands and fishing waters surrounding the Phil, so the economic imbalance between China and her neighbors will become worse.
Please don't be offended of this info. It's only an impassioned presentation of my interesting travel experiences.
I respectfully disagree. The fresh seafood restaurants near the Mall of Asia are very good quality, prepared how you like, and in a clean environment. Yes, the price is high but in my opinion so is the value for what you get. I recommend them.
Havana Cafe and Spicy Fingers
I have been to both many times. And every single time, there has always been pros and fl's. There are some girls who are there regularly. Some I see have been going there for about 5 to 10 years. Havana has been one of the best pick up locations for me. And that too, with excellent results. My first threesomes and foursomes was from Havana. My first backdoor was also from Havana.
It is especially great when you are staying at the New World Hotel. A long walk with a hard on that is trying to grow bigger is "hard". So, the short walk to New World is a bonus.
Pointers to Havana visitors:
It gets filled up. Early on, you will see it get filled up with families and workers getting out of work. But it starts emptying out by about 9PM. It then starts picking back up, around 10PM. Tables will all be taken by 11PM. By 12PM, you will see couples moving off to their rooms etc. If you get there and there are no tables, there is another restaurant right next to it. It is a Spanish Restaurant. Just can't remember the name. They have 2 for 1 beer most nights. If you come early, like 10PM, sit there and have your 2 for 1 beer. You can do your sight seeing from there. The girls will observe you and will try to make eye contact. If you smile back, and they think you are game, they will move closer to you. Usually they will come sit at the Seattle's Best Coffee, closest to the Spanish Restaurant table. If anyone can remember the name, put it up here. It is the one next to Seattle's Best Coffee. It feeds off the crowd coming into Havana.
The girls are plenty. After 12PM, walk into Havana. Sit at the bar, or stand there. You will get a table, and you will be hit numerous times by all the girls walking in and out, to the bathroom. Make your pick. The later you pick, the better the price. They do want to go sleep in a nice room.
But for those who say, Havana was a lost cause, you probably are very shy. If you are shy, this is going to be very tough for you, anywhere you go. Next time you cannot find a table, catch one of the waiter and ask for a table. They have always accommodated me. The waiters also know me pretty well. They remember regular customers and are sometimes protective of you. When a ladyboy approached me once, the security guy quickly came and talked the he-she away.
I am glad I don't live there. I would be broke by now.
I was there in October 2012. The HC was teeming with freelancers (as well as an large number of ladyboys).
I do not know what the "old days" were, but the HC is almost certainly still a good place to pick up a freelancer pro or semi-pro.
Westcoast1 is an experienced mongerer in the Philippines. Sometimes, finding a girl seems to be stochastic. But, overall, I would be surprised if a newbie couldn't do better than he did on that night at the HC.

I really like both. It is great to go to Havana to smoke a Cuban and drink some blue label. Then you can relax and check out the fL, it is a great place to relax and enjoy.
Spicy fingers is awesome to bring a DIA girl for meet. The happy hour has P50 mixers and some nice appetizers- I like the sushi. You can easily have a great chat and get her a little tipsy. Next on the way to the hotel to bang it out.
