Visited Topgun in Blok M few times the last two weeks, and I think the quality of girls has deteriorated during the last few years. Brought a few with me home, but would not do any of them again. Starfish. But the food and entertainment was as good as I remember. Anyone on this forum has the contact info on Nia and Melly, both slim and tall, in their mid-20's? Haven't seen them, and I'm wondering if they are around.

Does anyone recommend staying at one of the entertainment complex, are the benefits / savings better for booking their girls?

As an example has anyone stayed at these places overnight and found it was good value?

I was about to book a trip out to Jakarta for 3 days from 27 May but looks like that's when Ramadan starts.

So I am guessing no point hitting (or staying at) the like of:

Alexis hotel.

Classic.

Illegals.

Kings cross.

Or is just harder to find during that time?

The answer is that almost all of the free-standing MPs close during the entire month of Ramadan, as most of the working girls travel back to their home villages, not to return until 3 to 4 days after the Eid (often with some new barely-legal girls). Some of the hotel-based MPs / spas such as Malioboro and Alexis (I think) stay open during the first couple of weeks of Ramadan but keep a very low profile. The famous hotel bar-pick-up-places also slow down.

Back when I lived in Jakarta, the 6th floor Spa in Hotel Melawai would close down, but a group of girls would rent a couple of rooms on a lower floor in the Hotel Melawai and see customers there. I had some great sessions during those times, including one memorable two-girl session with Tatik and Inna during Ramadan 2007 that left me drained but happy.

For the last 7-10 days of Ramadan, the sex scene really dries up, so either stay away from Jakarta at that time or line up your own talent. There are a few Christian working girls available who obviously don't care about Ramadan.

There may be some hidden activity during Ramadan, especially in the Chinese neighborhoods, but I'm not qualified to discuss those opportunities.

She has to be mid to late 30's by now. She said she charges 2. 5 million short time at CJs now. LOL. What a difference from her days in her youth at Hotel Melawai. I doubt she always gets 2. 5, but she still looks pretty good relative to the other girls in CJs. She wouldn't be my top choice by far, but she is fairly tall and has a face that Indians and Arabs will absolutely go for. 1. 5 to 2 million is the normal rate there, but I have stood near couples where I hear the girl negotiate 2. 5 or 3 million. We were chatting up over a drink that I bought her. Suddenly an Indian guy pops up and intervenes and asks her whether she's free. She says 3 million for the night and he says 2. 5 million. She says, 2. 5 million ok, but will leave at 6 am. He says fine. And the time was actually 1 30 am then. She finished the drink I bought her and then the Indian guy bought her a drink. They were together and I guess they would have left around 2 30 am. The fact is Smoothy, some chicks like Inna have a brand equity for the way the conduct themselves despite their age. Many would not understand this.

What time do these places open up on a Saturday and Sunday and I assume they all close at 1 am?

You will find ladies at Lokasari plaza of unknown provenance. Alternately ask the taxi to take you to Tamansari which is right close by. Tell them you want to "cari cewek". Taxi will enter street and get flagged down by a spotter. Slip the spotter 10 k. Pretty soon an Innova full of girls will pull up and you can pick out the one you want. 500ST, take back to hotel. Not sure LT cost. If theres no girl to your liking in that innova. Wait 5 minutes and another will be along or go a little further down the street. Phones will be running hot and all the innova's will be heading to your location. Think of yourself as a new years sale.

I rarely find a girl to my liking there, so I'm not sure why I agreed to go all the way up there and check it out on a Saturday night, but I did. I'm not saying they never have nice girls, but I didn't like the selection last night and went to Blok M. The band at Top Gun last night was so damn loud that I left within 5 minutes. I wouldn't be surprised if a few people got ear damage from that crap last night. I've seen The Who live in concert where they were supposedly the loudest band in history - but that was quiet compared to that crap band at Top Gun. Much nicer than the ones at Tamansari last night. I asked the taxi to stop and chatted up a real little cutie. I asked her how much and she looked over to her motorcycle pimp and he said 1 million. I told him to forget it. He immediately said he would go for less and asked how much I wanted to pay, but I thought the quote of a million was offensive, so I told him to forget it. I ended up paying 1. 2 million for a nice 21 year old girl at CJs later in the night. I wouldn't say she was any cuter than the girl in the road at blok m, but at least in that case I am not dealing with one of those low life motorcycle pimps.

If doesn't work out then I can just walk down to Loksari and try there.

As to opening times question, probably correct question was "what best time they start? As I once went to Alexis per Google opening time, they were happy to take my entrance fee money but no girls were their when they opened, they then told me to come back after 3 hours and pay entrance fee again!

Is this Taman Sari 75 you're talking about right or have other locations popped up?

Also, one night I was travelling in a taxi along Jalan Kartini towards the Swiss Belhotel Mangga Besar and along that street men would come out of the shadows waving at the car to stop. The driver waved some of them off.

Are there brothels all along Jalan Kartini as well?
