Whaaa?
Hi all,
Anyone know if Manhattan is still open or raided?
Thanks is advance.
Red.
That would be terrible news. But why would it be raided? Technically, nothing illegal occurs inside Manhattan (what happens in your hotel room is different). Many of the girls do not carry condoms for this specific reason so there is plausible deniability. I have also actually met women at Manhattan who were not working girls at all, but rather accompanied a male friend for fun / shock factor.

So was making sure. I will be in Shanghai in September and would hate for evening fun to be none existant.

Judys in in a new location one to two blocks from Manhattans (for a while now). If judy's was impacted, I would assume Manhattans was as well. Can someone stop over for a bear and let us know if our honeys are all right?
If manhattans is ok, the girls will have a lot of business with the saunas and MPs closed!

Gubei and Changning
Walked around both districts and saw that most MPs were closed, but a few SPAs were open. I know a couple of these spas offer he as part of the oil massage option. Should I go for it, or is it still risky? These places are tiny shops. Which makes me hope they are not on LE's radar.

KTV party.
Hi guys,
I've never been to a KTV in China, in fact never been to a KTV anywhere.
Why don't we organise a KTV party.
I will be in Shanghai 9th to 15th September. Who's game?

I thought they were open, but today I discovered they are all closed. There was one place that was open, a really fancy and expensive spa, but the people at the front desk said that there was no oil massage, and in the room I noticed the shower was padlocked closed, and my provider made me wear a full pyjama set and then put a towel over me and massage me over both the pyjamas and towel. Previously, this was a place where I could get completely naked for an oil massage, with HJ available for a tip. Oh well. Lesson learned.

Hey guys,
News from a friend that works for a KTV joint is that KTVs will be "legit" for the next 10 days or so. Girls will be going home early and girls won't be leaving the KTVs with customers in the mean time.
He is only talking about his KTV so I am not sure about others but just keep it in mind.

Cheers John.

I will be in Shanghai 9/14 and 9/15. Interested in joining a group for a KTV party. Never done this before. I do not speak Mandarin. If interested send me a private message.

Judy's and Manhattan
Dropped by on Saturday night, business was booming. Just be careful of the pickpocket crew working the road between the 2.
All the he shops in Pudong seem closed up though.

Situation in Shanghai
I was in both Judy's and Manhattan last Tuesday evening. Both were open and Manhattan was packed with girls and only a few customers.
Cheers John.
Well that answers one of my question: has this affected offer. It seems not though many providers are in SH on a 3 m VISA and might decide to leave / not come again so hope nothing will change in the LT. My regular told me she will come in September as planned and her friends did not warn her of any change.
Two other questions: has the crackdown affected prices, and anyone knows if it is going to be a semi-permanent thing? I'm going to visit a few Asian cities from September thru November and I am trying to know if I should avoid Shanghai this time (I've to be there on business but can cut my stay short and head back to HK or go to MNL / AC instead!
Cheers!

Cheers!
Isn't this an yearly routine we all have seen? As the November approaches, its all the more important to showcase some 'morally clean' city.
But few of my friends are telling me that this time is quite unique with many being forced out of the city. Maybe we will know only in December.
