I don't recall any ATMs the restricted arrivals area. There might be one in the area of Dufry Shopping but that is beyond the area of the Police Federal passport control. If they insist on payment before you enter then they should accept dollars or euros.

I'm just curious because on my last trip to Brazil I enjoyed myself so much that I extended my stay for the first time and therefore caused an overstay. Whatsoever while leaving GIG nobody mentioned it and I got the common departure stamp so I'm not sure if I have to pay the fine when heading back to Brazil in January or if I luckily slipped through.
