Good to know. Are you there now? What is the down side of Beach road compared to Walking Street?
Enjoying an inadvertent walk on the 'wild side'. But then again maybe you'l enjoy this voyage of discovery.
Summa summarum: Pattaya is a place which is going to be more aggresive and more rude day after day. Be aware of that aggresive atmosphere here, and try to ignore all those people, which you don't have to speak to, if you want to make a good holiday.
I'm not sure I understand your first example. DID you forget her? If so, your reply was a further slap in her face. The 2nd example. Sorry dude. You were way out of line, drunk or not. But the 3rd example, well fuck, WHY do we have to acknowledge every fucking tout who is trying to part us with our money? I cannot tell you how many times people interrupted me to push their fucking shit on me. I do ignore them. That too is an answer.
But here's my own example of the rude attitude in Pattaya. I was a paying customer in a little bar at the fake Thai boxing place. Only I happened to be there when a westerner was going up against Thai and it was a real fight. Guys were trying to sit at this bar and watch without ordering a drink and the mamasan ran off 3 in a row in about 1 minute. I mentioned how cheap they were and she replied "Same you" even though my tab at that point was about 1200 baht. I watched the rest of the fight and paid my "bin" and left.
What is the down side of Beach road compared to Walking Street?
To me there is no downside. It's just a different venue. And there are different strokes for different folks. Chicks in Walking Street, bars, gogos or where ever will steal and may also have STDs. There is no exemption or guarantee because one works at a certain venue. In addition, the same girls who you can give 500 baht on Beach Road can go down to Walking Street or into a disco and command more money. You would never know they had been on Beach Road earlier in the day or evening. Pick your own poison.

I talked with her once, but didn't take her to the room, as I didn't find her interesting enough. I didn't forget her. But when she said "you forget me", I said "if you forget me, I forget you". I was very friendly and smiling. That was all. As I walking on a public place, that was just too much, when she say "You go, go, go" and make a hand-gesture, which is equal to a fuck-finger. When I told her, that I was friendly, but she was not friendly, she said "sorry", and that was all right. I just write about those things to illustrate, that Pattaya is going to be a harder place day after day.
I don't justify my fuck-finger in 2nd example. But, after that episode I ask myself where the hell is the Buddhaistic tolerance and non-violence? Oh, by the way, I know little about Buddhaism.
About your example, I can only say, even your bill was about 2000 Baht, so you're still a cheap charlie from mamasan's point of view. Because, you will never ever be accepted as a human-being in Pattaya, but only as a walking ATM.

Politeness
Possibly the down turn in politeness is a direct result of the number of Russians visiting now. I have been to several Russian countries and seen the great rise in numbers in Pattaya, Russians are very rude compared to the UK, USA etc. If the Thais in Pattaya see this on a daily basis they are going to adopt similar attitudes. Some years ago I had a girl friend from Bishkek in Kyrgistan she tried to explain there is no direct equivalent to the word please in Russian.
May the force be with you.
If so then please do keep us appraised of your adventures. I wait with relish further posts describing whereupon with no provocation whatsoever Thais assault you with whatever weapons are at hand. You should seriously think about having these situations filmed and put on youtube. It would be a great hit in Thailand and could make you a minor celebrity. Then you would have people attack you with no provocation just for the privillage of being able to assault an idiot falang.
Pointy Stick, all I can say to you and guys like you, who insist not to understand what I write: I am going to pray Buddha after I finish to type my message here. I will pray, that very soon, you and guys like you may experience all those things I experienced. And when you get such experiences, maybe you will maybe be able to be little empatic. That will be my pray of the day!

What did you expect would occur?
Odds are I won't experience this as I don't go around drunkenly giving thai guys a 'finger fuck' gesture because I am not a moron.

3 words for you.
Just learn to say.
Mai ao khrup (don't want)
Mai Pai Khrup (don't want to go)
Its simple. Have fun at Pattaya.
After 1 year and 6 months I came back to Pattaya. If you (same me) have been in Pattaya before, you can maybe notice, that people in Pattaya have been more aggressive now, compared to earlier visits to Pattaya. Generally, Thai people in Pattaya have never been polite, compared to Thai people in other regions of Thailand. But now I can only describe them very rude. Even you are polite and talk nice to them, you may meet very aggressive reply from them. Last week I and a friend of mine were walking on Beach Road. As my friend should go to the WC, I should wait for him. Just around Central Festival, while I was going to sit down on the Beach Road, a freelancer said to me: "You forget me". I replied friendly and said "If you forget me, I forget you". Then she made a hand-gesture and said "You go, go, go!" I told to the freelancer, that she talked to me, and I talked to her. I talked her friendly. But she was not friendly, but hostile. She said "sorry". But hearing "You go, go, go!" in a place where you make holiday is not that nice at all. (This gesture is actually equal to show fuck-finger.)
On this trip it wasn't the last time I heard "You go, go, go!" from Thai people in Pattaya. I was talking with a street-painter on the end of Walking Street, on my way to Mixx. I was very drank, but very friendly. He replied very aggressively. After he said "You, go, go, go!", I was ready to leave him. As I was very drank, I showed my fuck-finger. And he began to hit my face with a chair. I run from that crazy man with bleeding lips. (All right, it was not right to show a fuck-finger at all. But as I told, I was very drank. I am not justifying my fuck-finger. But begin to hit a drank man on his face was definitely a crazy action!).
As a result of such bad communications and attack from Thai people in Pattaya, I and my friend decided to ignore Thai people who talk to us. (We definitely not reply "Hello, taxi" and "Hello, massage"-approach any more). Yesterday we were walking on Beach Road around 3 pm. As we should exchange first, we came on the shopping-side of Beach Road. A man was saying "Hello. Boat to Koh Lorn". We ignored him, as he was behind us, and as we didn't see him at all. We were not sure, that he was talking to us either. But he followed us around 2-3 minuttes. And saying "Hello. Can you speak?","Hello, do you have a mouth?" etc. He didn't give up, and we didn't give up to ignore him. And before he gave up, he said "Fuck you!" to us. And that sentence we ignored too.
Summa summarum: Pattaya is a place which is going to be more aggresive and more rude day after day. Be aware of that aggresive atmosphere here, and try to ignore all those people, which you don't have to speak to, if you want to make a good holiday.
You do realize how much beer this would buy you in one of these bars? I have been to the exact same venue as crazy is talking about so I know exactly how much beer this gets you and it is not in the cheap charlie category.
Totally different I'd say. Soi 6 is all about girls standing outside their bars and dragging you in. Inside the bar it is quiet, sometimes you are the only one there and the girl tries to get you to the ST room in record time. There is no dancing, no shows, just a seductive Thai girl trying all her tricks to get you upstairs.
Soi Cowboy is about the shows in the agogo clubs. Ideal if you go in group: you can have lots of fun there, watching the girls dance in the nude. There is far less hustling once you are inside. No problem to sit inside and only watch the show, nursing your drink. I do not think that will work in Soi 6. Well there is no reason to go inside a bar in Soi 6 unless you want to sample the delights of one of the bargirls.
Thanks for clarifying it, that is a big difference of course. So I guess don't get dragged inside unless you really like the girl? And if she does turn out to be do-able then how much should one expect to spend $20 for FS in room upstairs for 30 mins? Plus a lady drink$5?

Analsex / young ladys?
Hi guys, I went to Thailand previosly this year and yes sir, what a great place for a single man.
The average ladys was a little bit to old I thought, it seemed to me that most of them were around like 30+ but if I searched a while I could find younger ladys like 20. 25 years old.
I got a couple of girls who was 21 and 23, but they were not especially cooperative for analsex so I let them off with just screwing their cherry pies.
It seemed pretty hard to find girls in their twenties who would be happy with anal, and I think better stay away from freelancers due to the STD problem, it feels much more safer with bargirls.
Anyway, you experienced mongers outthere, do you think it will be OK to do them anal anyway?
They shouldn't struggle to much I think, and you can't really call it lawbreaking cause by the deal her ass is yours for the hour, you paid for her right.
I would just love to asspound one of those cocky young bitches who in the nightclub at home would just grind her ass at your crotch til you got a hardon and then just walk away with that evil smile in her face you know.
Or may you have some problems with nasty boyfriends/"mafia" if you're not the Perfect gentleman?
