To Vox Jox,
I had the exact same eperience when I first went to Korea.
There are several places in Seoul like this that I have seen.
I can't think of the subway stop names now. The 50,000
you paid was just for the beer. If you wanted more you need to pay more. Much more! 2-300,000 Won more. The first time I went to one of these was in the market area of Guri. Generally foreiners are ignored in these places. One girl came out and chatted to me and asked me in for drinks (50,000 Won). What I didn't realize was that is all she meant to give me - drinks) Other than a few gropes initiated by me - that is all I got . I complained like you and claimed I was being ripped off but it was no use so I left. A few months later I tried again at another place. Same thing exactly except when I asked for more i was told it would be another 300,000W . The 50,000W was just for the drinks. So I left but at least i knew the score in these places. Of course that was the last one I went into.
Paddy23,
In my experience, only a very few of the Sports Massage places are massage-only. For me, the trick has been figuring out which are HJ-only, and which offer FS. I really think someone needs to publish a Zagat Guide for Seoul Sports Massages. As a rule of thumb, the ones that tend to emphasize the different types of massages available (Swedish, Shiatsu, etc.), tend to be massage only, and the ones that only say Sports Massage offer more.
I think the HJ/FS is also girl dependent, but for some places it must be policy. Others can correct me, but I've been to the Capitol Hotel Sports Massage a number of times, and only ever received a HJ, while the Hamilton has always been FS.

Yongsan RLD visit
I went to Yongsan tonight, as I hadn't been there since my first trip to Korea eight months ago. At that time, even with my Korean friend with me, we were turned down on the "A" row, and as he didn't know about the "B" rows, we moved on. Thanks to those of you, like Seoulmate and Wicked Willie, who posted on this board about the "B" rows.
Tonight I found a girl named So Young at a corner booth one block east of the main drag. The price was W70,000 for full service. She was somewhat mechanical, but hot as hell. She even has a little dot on her nose, like Jun Ji Hyun. Check it.
It is easy to find this place. Go to Sonyongsan Station on the blue line, take exit #3, walk to the first intersection, turn right, and you will see the first glass houses up the street on your left. There wasn't much traffic tonight, so I walked down the main drag, and got one nice smile of the "You aren't getting any of this, but nice try" variety. On the side streets, more girls were willing, and some were hot.
To Paddy23,
I would avoid places with two feet logo, as they are usually foot massage (especially the one you mentioned).
However, at sports massage places (even if they look legit,) you will get extras. Most will give you a nice bath, a very good massage (including a walk on the back) a BBJ or CBJ (lately) and FS. Some may not offer FS but most do. That will set you back between 180,000-200,000. You also will be there for at least an hour.
Of course you could also try the barber shops with the 2-3 poles. They often offer FS and would cost you 70,000-80,000, but they don't speak English. However, you will have no trouble finding them since they are everywhere (BBJ is also offered). Typically the old lady that gives the massage is not the one that gives the extras (she is typically much younger) so don't start groping the first one.
Oscolar,
The space bar is part way up Hooker Hill on the right side.
Seoul Pub is opposite and to the left of ther Hamilton hotel(if facing the hotel) and upstairs. Good bar! Was picked up by a gorgeous half Korean/half japanese chick once in there.
Nedski:
The picture seems to be of a Coffee shop. These types of coffee
shops have girls available and the giveaway is usually the phone number on the sign. I think they are similar to tabangs. You can call up and order coffee and it is brought to your room by the girl.
I have not tried this though.
Anyone have more insight on these?
Nedski,
The name of the place is "Akasaka", I presume it is down by the Han-nam Dong side of the Itaewon strip. It might cater for the Japanese tourists, note the Japanese script on the upper right of the sign.
It is not a coffee shop, the sign also says Maek-Ju, Yong-Ju (Beer, Western Drinks); it seems to be a da-ram-ju-jeom.
Seasons Greetings
Nedski,
Additional on the sign photo you posted. I can't read Korean, but the Japanese on it says "Akasaka", meaning "Red Castle".
Cheers.
Can you guys please tell me where 588 is? What's the nearest Subway stop and directions, I have been looking for it and would like to give it a go.
Thanks
Vox Jox,
Was that the young lady I posted her freelancer card up on a few weeks ago? It kinda sounds like her.

Anyone want to get together and explore some of these areas? I'm getting sick of the hill but would love to check out some other places.

My recommendation for FS barbershop (posted before but here it is again)
Go to Yeoksam St. and exit towards the Rodamco Tower. There is a Starbucks on the first floor. If you're standing in front of the entrance to Starbucks, look across the street and you'll see a small alley running directly away from Starbucks. Walk down this street until the first cross street (again, a small alley-like road) and turn left. You'll see a couple double-poles with a pink sign called "Pinkl Hyugyetel" (written in Korean but you really can't miss it.)
Is this place still around and if so is the service and price about the same?
I am back in the Hermit Kingdom and I am having a blast.
I checked out the hill. ViP is a very good experience while one of the drink rip offs on the left side of the hill should be avoided like the plague, unless you like to pay without getting any play.
I had full service at ViP after a little chit chat.
I also tried a barbershop in Yongsan. She was very chatty and friendly a real GFE even though I really don't speak Korean. All in all, quite a good experience.
Gina, Gina, Gina. (HH)
Damn who ever recomended her is the MAN!
She was one of the best New Years I have had, a true GFE. She was very friendly and willing to do anything but anal. I'm actually pretty much speachless about her.
100,000 for 1 hr well worth it.
ME
Havingfun22,
She is a little tiger isn't she?
You should get her sometime around 5am for a long time session. 200,000W from 5am until whenever - usually noon.
If you loved 1 hr, imagine 6 or 7, and 4 or 5 goes at it.
Gina is the way all the girls should be!
