Recently I visited the Thai Passion Massage Parlour at Str. Prepelitei nr. 8. I had no appointment, I merely wrote down the address from earlier postings and found a taxi driver willing to take me there. This is an important point as the first driver I spoke with could not (would not) find the address. The second one was more industrious and took the time to use his "key map" to find the 50-meter-long road this place is tucked away in.

I stayed in the Novotel, which is very nice but I cannot report if it is girl-friendly or not. Thai Passion is a ten-minute taxi ride or 30 minute walk (yes, I walked back) from the hotel.

After being buzzed in, the manager confirmed that I had no appointment and would have to settle for the only girl available. No problem. (One) of my mottos: just lower your standards until you've already met them. At this point, the only "worker bee" I had seen was a tall uber-skinny chick. She was attractive enough but I would have like some more meat. As luck would have it, she wasn't the one available.

Money changed hands (150 crunchie bucks, or whatever the local currency is. Actually, it is made of plastic, kinda wierd) and in walked my tour guide to ecstacy. She was dark-skinned, pretty (7-8/10 in my slightly inebriated state) and had a sexy-as-hell curvy body with some D-cups up front.

Now, keep in mind I have never been to a rub-n-tug parlour before, so this was all pretty cool to me. The place was decorated in mid-to-early nineties cathouse chic. Lots of red fabric everywhere and a French *****house odor that permeated the air. Our room had a sort of a mattress on the floor. It was pleasant enough, I suppose. I got naked and laid on my front while she got to work. She gave a decent all-body massage (this from all my experience of never having had one.) The titties felt great rubbing all over. Another day or night at Piata Romana opposite mcdonald. It was raining so there wasn't many on the street. Found a lady called Roxana who is quite busty and I am not into busty women I was not keen on her. Anyway she was the only one and there were about 2 ladies but they did not look safe. A quick report on my recent visit in Bucharest:

On SW action: I was in Bucharest for one night only (Tuesday to Wednesday) and had the opportunity to go up and down the main Blvd between Piata Universitate and piata Romana. Virtually nothing going on, except for 2 or 3 unattractive hookers.

On Confidential: based on reports I felt that this was a good place to check out and as I wasn't desperate for full sex I felt comfortable settling for an hour-long massage with a happy end. I checked their website, phoned and arranged for a session shortly past midnight. The girl who answered spoke good English but I was a bit put off by the asked price: 260 RON, which is quite a lot for Bucharest I believe. [note that if you go before 8pm the price is 210 RON]. I reached the place (about 100 m. From the Romoana square itself). Confidential is at number 14 Caderea Bastiliei (and not 54 as indicated in some posts) and to reach the place you have to go through a crumbling gate and walk alongside a house for about 25 meters before finding the door bell.

The place itself is relatively big and welcoming, although nothing really special. I was given the choice between 4 girls all aged approx. 21-25. They all looked quite ok, although there were no stunners. I guess I'd give them an average of 7. 5. I went for Alice for no particular reaosn besides the fact that she looked good and was giggling for no apparent reason.

Alice has a nice body and was happy to go about massaging me. That having been said you simply cannot comapre this to the kind of service you would receive in Kuala Lumpur for example (Federal hotel anyone? ). Having asked her I can confirm that these girls (or her at the very least) do not receive any massage training and unfortunately this shows. Drinks are plentyful and not too pricey either (about 7/8 EUR for a whiskey & coke), while the music will be well-known to westerners as it was a mix between some oldies (twist! ) and more recent commercial stuff. Stayed until 2:30 and left just a sthe place was starting to warm up. Note: best not go on your own because the place wasn't what you would call packed and the only people really dancing were. The dancers.

I'm not too sure how easy it'd be to pick up a freebie there but I guess it's the same as everywhere: youth, looks and money can get you quite a lot.

Due to business I need to go to Bucu end of month. But the reports here are not looking very promising. The saloon is not worth it and they try to rip you off as much as they can.

The taxi driver did the same as he waited in front and wanted to charge that without being asked to do so (license plate B-69 CUM - no joke!)

Stay away from both - saloon and taxi driver - they are both not worth it!
