Keep in mind, you can also get LT for 500 and up. Depends on you, and your negotiating skills. 1 to 2 years ago I took a girl from Dees to my hotel for LT for 350 k IDR. The next day, being a nice guy, I gave her a little more to get home. After all, it was only 350 k for all night. Two days later she was texting me asking to meet again. So my max at Dees would be 7-800 k. Depends on the girl, the chemistry, and how much I like her.

This is just my opinion, if I had to put a number on it. I would say ST for a lady at Dees place would only be about 500 k. LT would be 700 k or 800 k.

There was a time when you have the girl right there in the back. Don't know if that's still going on.
In any case, no sense in taking a girl from Dees back to your hotel for 1 m for ST. You can get a better girl at CJs or Bats for 1. 2 m.
I'm not knocking Dees. I had a great time there. But 1 m at that place is high.

However, (except for extremely rare occasions) when I offer the hot girls there 1. 2 m, they flat out refuse (a mediocre girl will accept that). 1. 5 to 2 million is the going rate there for a hot girl. On a busy night, sometimes the hottest ones even demand 2. 5 short time there. Kudos to you if you are getting the hottest girls at those places for 1. 2, but I find it hard to believe unless perhaps you are quite a handsome young guy. Then again, if you are just saying you can get a mediocre level girl for 1.2 at CJs or BATS and that would be better than any girl from D's, I do agree with that.

As far as D's, I think your prices are spot on. But in reality, the D's place girls are not very hot. I've only taken one girl home from D's in the last 10 years simply because they aren't hot enough to take home relative to what's available in Jakarta. It's a great place to grab a drink and have a good chat, but as far as stunning girls, that ain't the place to find them. Anjani is pretty hot and that one dancer Karel takes home isn't bad, but overall the talent level is low. Top Gun and My Bar do have a couple of hotties on occasion, but D's place is more just a hang out spot without hotties.

D's does have the back VIP room open still. It's mainly used by married guys in town who can't take the girls home.

As you pointed out, it rarely got hot girls in there but I was there one night and they had a few new dancers that were tasty and several freelancers as well. The girl I gave 1 million to was one who's number I got and met up with her another night. She was my type, I like them thin. I was only in Jakarta for a few days at a time so I wasn't going out every night. Paying a bit extra for one I thoughgt was tasty was worth it for my. I don't like Top Gun that much these days but that's more to do with the music being too loud. I had a regular hook up in Jakarta for the weekend and I gave her 600 k plus bought her dinner. That was LT. I didn't meet her at the's, it was the upstairs bar a door or two down, can't remember the name.

I wouldn't call the's place a haven of young talent but it's a nice place to hav a few beers.

One night when I think the shit was going down at Tiananmen Square a crazy rumour was going around that one of the front bar girls was regularly getting RP. 50000 for a shag.

It seemed kind of ridiculous that anyone would pay Rp50 k. So we all decided to chip in money and invite this girl to the back restaurant. She got a special pass to come through. If that was considered high at the time, what was the regular rate? When I first arrived in 1998, the going rate was 200,000 and that was also 30 usd at the exchange rate in 1998. At that time, the girls never even negotiated. And there was no barter over long time or short time. They stayed long time and just accepted 200k in the morning no questions asked.

I liked Top Gun back in those old days as well. Mainly because it started much earlier. I can't say I spent a lot of time in the back room where the girls weren't allowed. However, I could go there at 6 pm and there would be a nice supply of girls already. When D's place and My Bar came onto the scene, things went downhill because you could no longer hit the blok at 6 pm, it didn't get started until at least 10 when those 2 places opened. I loved the days when we could have dinner at Sportys after work, then walk over to Top Gun around 7 and hang out there until about 10. Then go to Oscars at 10 and stay there until about 1. Then head to Lintas Melawai from 1 onwards. It was the perfect setup and absolute bliss.

.[/QUOTE]Sportsmans / TopGun etc. Opening up in the afternoons with their blue collar beer & working class pool ruffled a lot of feathers. The sundowners and old colonials predicted the death of the gin pahit, ceruts & snooker rooms in Paletahan. The last big snooker hall was gone by 1995.

Irish Mary in Proklamasi had a sign on her bar for expats. 1 USD = 1 beer, 10 beers = 1 girl. This general rule applied from the 70's right up to maybe Krismon in the late 90's in Jakarta. The monetary crisis screwed up many businesses and a lot of trash washed ashore.

So this TopGun Nona I mentioned was acquiring a worth of 25 - 30 beers. How much would that be in TopGun nowdays?

Well I have had the best time in Jakarta everytime I am there and this time will not be different. Except for the traffic Jakarta is the best mongering place I have been to.

I have tried Maliboro, Alexis Cj's and Bats. And like any other cities mongering seems to be getting expensive here.

Need some help on the clubs where we could hit on high quality girls. Yes Alexis and Maliboro has them but I am looking more into girls whom I can party with and then get her to my hotel.

I did get one some years back in bats. But these days Bats is where you can pick up easily if you have the budget.

Any expert help from the seasoned mongers would really be helpful.
