Sometimes it is just question of balancing how much shafting you are willing to tolerate in exchange for the pleasure you receive. Just stay alert and be ready to walk away if your alarm bells start ringing.

If your room is on any other floor of the hotel, you and your guests can come and go pretty much undisturbed (the two guys in the lobby do not interfere with your comings and goings) and I am sure all the WGs from Hong Kong Cafe or Escape know this if they have been working the scene for more than a week or two. That means nobody checks their IDs and if they steal something from you they will never be caught. Leave your valuables locked in the safe before go you prowling the streets and bars. If the girl does not want to take a shower with you, don't give her the opportunity to slip something of value in her sometimes not so small purse. I got relieved of the burden of owning a cheap Android pad in this hotel. I reported the theft to the police in the morning (you can do it online) but wrote it eventually off as a 400 HKD tip to the provider.

Any help appreciated.[/QUOTE]This is your 4th post and they are all questions so it is time you gave a little back in return for the information you receive.

I have stayed many times in the JJ. Come out the hotel and turn left and 10/15 minutes walk later you are in the thick of the action.

You will have absolutely no problem bringing back a girl. There is no reception as such on the ground floor. You just walk to the lifts and go to your floor. The guys at the security desk will not even look at you as you could be going to the bar on the top floor or the restaurant at about the 5th floor.
Never been shafted yet over many years but take the normal precautions.

Remember to report on how you get on. We will be waiting! I'm about to visit HK in November so will be interested to hear how you get on. Try Neptune 111, HK Cafe, Taboo, Escape, Amazonia or any other bar really.

Have a trip to HK coming up so had to do my "research". Have not had a change to come to HK for some time so reviewed many pages going back. Even did several "searches" in the HK forum. Perhaps not looking properly.

Usually I take the talent from the Wanchai bars for LT overnight stay. I do not want to be stingy but also do not want to "upset" the market by overpaying. Can some of the locals suggest what a fair LT rate should be?

And yes, correct "negotiations" are the key. Once again have been looking for this info (perhaps I am blind) but could not find it.

What time you leave the bar, your negotiation skills, how well you get on with the girl, chemistry etc etc. Depending on where you pick up the girl from will affect the price. Escape will be a lot more expensive than the others. You may well have to pay more.

First thanks for the reports which are helping others a lot.

I was in Hong Kong 1 week ago & visited wanchai weekdays (Monday & Tuesday).

I visited all the famous clubs but for me the level in escape is much more better than the others.

Escape had a variety you can choose from there were girls from Philippines, Colombia, Thai & Eastern European.

Most of the Colombians are really hot, they quote 3000 HKD at first but easily dropped to 2000 , but I didn't like their attitude as they feel kooky and from my past expriences they don't please in bed, I would apperciate if anyone share his report if he tried one of them.

I picked up a Phillipina called Mia 1500ST, she was really beautiful I would give her 9/10 easily & she gives BBBJ & she seemed to enjoy herself.

They are all over Hong Kong most are move out a few yr ago by HK government aroung central not good for tourism, I see a lot of them at Cauway bay and Victoria park and malls, most are average looking you should go hunting at the Wan chai bar at night save youself time to hunt all over HK.

But for your info I picked her up around 3:30 a. M on a weekday so maybe it was a little bit late and a lot of people had already left & she quoted 2000 first but easily dropped to 1500.

Phillippine gilrs are more flexible, more fun and most of them more desprate to earn some. I can negotiate to 1000 HKD all night if the chemistry is good. Does not matter where you meet them, Escape or other bars. It is all a matter of luck, negotiating skills, your looks / charm, her mood etc. The main problem with Wan Chai these days are the girls are quite old. Not like 10 years ago where the area was filled with 20-25 years old. Mainly from the Philippines.

Long time here and on other sites but was semi retired but now back. I have spent many years up and down the streets of Wan Chai. Saw Fenwicks and the old Neptune come and go. I have seen the number of locations get strangled down to a few. Yes, there are still women to be had, unfortunately, I am never there on Sundays.

The reason I have enjoyed this area is the social aspect. I am not attracted to the Fujis or Soapies since there is very little socializing. Going to the Wan Chai bars is like being a kid in a candy store looking at the wide selection and finding hard to pick just one. So I am sad to see it whither slowly away. Yes the bars are still there but the women are just a fraction of what it used to be.

Here's my question; Are there any other areas, bars or hotel bars that have a similar environment? I don't count LFW since that is pretty much expats and tourists with a few pros sprinkled in.

I also fully agree with your observations of Wan Chai over the years. With LFW I think you mean Lan Kwai Fong, right?
