Brasil I wanted to thank you for your response, just what I wanted to know! Mayorista isn't too dangerous is it in the day time? Do you think the hotels are dangerous around Mayorista are dangerous? I only have a couple days in Medellin this time around, I want to get a feel for if I like the mongering scene and don't find it too dangerous! I want to go to Loutron as well as I heard that is a great place, is it ok to go by yourself?

Are there girls at the mansion as well? Until what time?

I also heard there was a bar of some sort operated by the same ownership as the mansion? Are there girls at the bar? Where is the bar?

I will RTFF some more! But thanks so much.

I recently tried to check out La Cueva because my buddy was staying at the Plaza. The reason there is so much confusion about the cover is that there is nothing set in stone! The bartender told my buddy it was 50k, but the manager had to approve it. Who then had to find Robert. Who then said, I had to get a room because Plaza 1 was not full (starting at 170k). No thanks!

There is a excellent map in the casa section. For a similar price to Mayorista you will get a better experience IMHO.

But the Mansion was full and he made the comment that he would let him in for 50K because there where a lot of girls and not that many guys at the bar. So I got the impression that you could never really count on getting in if you aren't staying at the Mansion.
I wonder if I will be able to get into La Cueva after I have to leave the Mansion because there were no rooms available for the last few days of my trip. Shouldn't really be a problem getting numbers from the chicks to tide me over until I leave but you never know.

The only way you are going to get into La Cueva is by staying at Hotel Medellin Plaza. Now if Medellin Bob, Big Bad Boyd and or A. G. want to invite friends/people into the bar, that's there privilege I guess. I know for a fact that A. G. will not because he doesn't have any friends!
Now having a friend staying at MP does not give you entry rights, you can wait at the front door for your friend.
Now if the hotel is full and people who have stayed with us in the past and have tried to get a room by contacting Aexa, the secretary, then La Cueva and the hotel is more flexible on your entry.
Now La Cueva x 2 is opening the end of July in Barrio Colombia, you guys who don't want to stay at MP, go over there.

MP 2, does have room specials starting at $50.00 per night, granted the rooms are small, rooms 3, 5, 6 and 10.
The rooms have double beds, fridges, private bathrooms, air-conditioned, T. V's and a very large breakfast supplied.
Washing is available at 10, 000 pesos per load, free Wi-Fi, with a computer in the living room for those who don't travel without a laptop.
Free entry to La Cueva, and no, not your friends, cousins, fucken aunty and Colombian friends who will rob you as soon as you fall asleep from the drugs they supply you.
Also both MP 1 and MP 2 are located in the best part of town, I did buy well!

Medellin is supergood place to find LTR, if you speak Spanish and improving. A plan to come and visit 2-3 times a year for a months etc. MikePilot do not take into account that in MDE vs. Ukraine, you got a life with friendly people all the time, therefore Ukraine or Romanina seems better, but there is all about one thing, marriage for money. In Medellin you can relax feeling that you are a winner in the long-term, all the friends you make, you kind of forget that primary target of finding this exotic foreign girl of your dreams. You will relax and enjoy the time while searching, at your own personal pace.

I recommend Medelllin over Ukraine or Romania. 10-1, since general condition for your living is so much bettter, people ARE very friendly, and, Medellin, rainy or dry, always has "eternal Spring", it is always 25C, with rather small variations, while Ukraine and Romania has very hot summers and horrible winters which in combination with old infrastructure can turn out to be a nightmare.

Hard for amolatina to know that, although I am sure they must know it goes on at some of the local agencies. Loveme dot com has a very good local agency and the girls there are legit. I did not try using colombiancupid or anything else, so maybe I missed out there.

Everyone here is very friendly, including the hot girls. And the ratio of hot girls to 'normal' guys is very good, I would say 2 to 1, so if you can speak Spanish and are decent looking, I am sure you will get a lot of phone numbers from smoking hot girls but ones that aren't pros (escorts / dancers) are nice girls so you would have to put some time in.

I will say however that if you are looking for prostitutes, this is the best place I have ever seen. The young escorts college girls network that can be found at La Mansion hotel, and the dancers like at Fase 2 and La Isla are totally hot and great in bed. If you want that, then this is the place. I did not go to the spas / casas except 1 "Energy" spa which was good. Big clean and about 8 girls to choose from. 4 very hot. 4 not very hot. If you want to meet a nice girl, go elsewhere unless you've got game and speak spanish, IMHO.

Also, Don't come during the rain season like I did. It literally rains EVERY DAY either in the afternoon or at night or usually both. And it pours every time for hours. If you want to do anything outside you have to do it before noon which gets to be a pain in the ass.

It is a big, modern city with lots to do and very friendly people, but I would recommend going someplace else unless you speak spanish. Just my 2 cents.

P. S. Poblado apartments from albert on tripadvisor is a good choice for long term stay if you have a wingman. If not, stay at La Mansion. Very friendly nice people and always a hot chick in the lobby. Nice to wake up to.[/QUOTE]

Mr OReilly,

The Mayorista is very safe like I mentioned. I never felt threatend or seen any type of trouble there. It's a one large block full of bars, hotels and one casino with over 150 girls hanging outside and inside the establishments. Cops constantly keep an eye and patrol the area.

I went on a day time trip and found no more than 4-5 ugly nasty looking veterans. I won't recommend on daytime.

You say you'll have few days to monger, then I HIGHLY recommend the Mayorista.

Hotels are safe and clean.

Mansion girls are there when the mansion employees or guests invite them. The last time I was at the mansion was 2009 so you'll need to read on that. Things have changed.

It has gone down quite a bit in quality and quantity over the last few months and after Itagui prohibited bars and restaurants from having tables and chairs on the famous sidewalk citing it is a public access. Now you see less people coming and drinking even on weekends and so less chicas. Even the famous Porn Star goes there less frequently; she told me on one of the quick conversations. You can still spot a few new girls on Friday or Saturday nights along with a lot of old faces and high mileage chicas. But for the price you pay there, it ain't costing you much. Daytime action here is almost non-existent although I picked up a hot new girl (for those who know me I am very picky) here on my last trip at around lunch time. Just pure luck.

A. G.[/QUOTE]I stayed at the Plaza in December just before Christmas, my best trip ever! The staff are friendly and helpful & the location is perfect. And yes, the girls were smoking hot, hot. This was my first trip to Medellin and the brothers at the Plaza went out of their way and took me around & provided useful tips. The Cueva is nice, glad to know that Cueva 2 is opening in July.

Staying at a low end Motel in Mayorista or living it up at the Mansion. It's all good.

But I think you are pickier than me Ezyngo. LOL remember when we went to NL.

I didn't mind checking out your area and I did but it was dead in daytime and decided I am good with my spot.

Medellin has talents everywhere. To me el centro is just the most convenient spot with all the amenities and services for a better deal. And everything is within a walking distance: Pussy, casas, metro, restaurants, striptease joints, freshly cut fruits, ATM, pharmacies, clinics, convenient stores, barbershop. Etc. Which all makes me feel part of the neighborhood and enhances my experiences.
