By the way, a good way to check out Thermae is to head into the hotel/lobby area first and through the back entrance to Thermae, then you can at least take a look at the ladies before they shove you to the drink station.

Sorry for the almost too crappy screen-caps, but I wanted to back up my shit here, (as usual) but this is all that I am outing of this one:
I happen to go to Chinatown now and then and alot of Farang do not seem to know so much about Chinatown daytime(night time too but daytime seems better).
I stay on Sukhamvit and hate taking a taxi if there are traffic issues, so basically hit the BTS to Asoke and then take the MRT to Hualampong.
After Hualampong, you head out the "Chinatown" exit, its now labeled in English, I believe its exit 4..as you exit there will be tuk tuk/mototaxi's/occasional fake tour guide, you can take a moto to Soi Texas(Soi Phadung dao) or walk it.
This is the central area to take a look..first there is a watch shop on the front of Phadung Dao on Yarowat, next to it is a Chinese short time hotel with darken stairs, lots of Chinese ladies there..you can go up there or take them to another hotel, mostly they are 30-40's, but some real nice looking ones..Some speak English, Some speak Thai alittle-well(they know numbers lol) and yea all speak Mandarin..so just remember "dou shao?"(how much) your target should be around si(almost same as thai number 4) bi..si bi=400(bi like bi-sexual) wu-bi(500).
At the other end of the short soi, is Thanon Charoen Krung..there is a covered bus stop facing Phadung Dao...around 12pm-4/5pm there will be ladies "waiting" for the bus, but not really waiting for any bus. IF they give you a smile, its a good chance they are in the game.
Now, on Phadung Dao are a small group of Alleys called "Soi Texas", there is a Texas massage, 177 hotel(I just call it Texas hotel, short time place), around there and the area will be several to many ladies from 11am-5pm..after 5pm they tend to go home/elsewhere..regular evening eateries stop to pop up. The ladies tend to be from 20-40, single mom, some are hair dressers, some regulars there. A few can speak English quite well, but generally they do not speak a great deal of English.
The 177(Texas hotel) is right there and best to use, the hotel ladies seem nice enough/speak English.
ST is a normally 1 pop style thing, although if the girl knows you/likes you, you might be able to convince her to do 1 hour=how many times I can..:)
There are some farang that go there, but generally its a Thai/Thai Chinese lunch time escape type of an area..hence is one reason why it tends to empty out later.

Anyhow Chinatown is a good place to walk around(when its not super hot) and take a look, shop, take it all in.

I was at Baccara last night and I bought a LD, after I barfined the girl, the mamasan came by with another LD. She said the rule is if you barfine then you will have to buy 2 LD. Is this somthing new or is this the norm. I usually stay towards the Nana area and they do not have such rules. Are all the gogos at cowboy follow this?

Dude...You would be better off without testing. There is no TEST FOR HIV..ONLY FOR YOUR ANTI-BODIES.
Please ask your local doctor why there isn't any test for HIV virus. If one does an hour of research they will know there is no test for HIV virus only for anti bodies
Ever heard of wrong-diagnosis...if you have some flu or are on a medication which lowers your PH level to acidic...your anti-body count would drop..it varies from people to people. If you have been taking pain killers or have some serious illness and are recovering from it...you may have a lower anti-body count and the TEST MAY SHOW YOU YOU HAVE HIV....there are 1000's and 1000s of wrong diagnosis on HIV every year..just search Google.
Its the medicine that will kill you before any HIV does. Its better if you want to do it anyway...go to a clinic and get it done..these self starter kits are ambiguous ...not trying to flame you..you have good intentions...but as a life killer as HIV..we need to be cautious

That's what the barfine is for, to replace drinks the lady may have been brought before her shift ended and, or, drinks customers may have brought while watching her do her thing.
Don't argue with them, just pay what you owe and move on.

Is there any trick to get through the immigration line at Suvarmabhumi quickly? The last couple of times I've landed at 13:00 and the line extends way outside the immigration hall. Add another hour to get into town thorugh gridlocked Bangkok traffic, and it is 2-3 hours before you're actually on the ground. Unreal. I can't think of any other airport I've been to recently which is this slow.
What are the officers DOING that it takes so long? It seems like they take 5-10 minutes to process each person, plus all of the lanes are never open. In most airports they just stamp your passport, and in others they ask you lots of questions, but here they do neither. But it still takes so long! I know they take your photo, but it seems most of it is just fumbling with paperwork.
There is a new airport link now that connects Bangkok with the airport. Till the end of this year it will cost only 15 baht to get from the airport to the city and connection with the BTS. I used it and found it very handy, especially because you have no problems with traffic.

the following always works for me....i just give each person in line in front of me 1000 baht and butt in and tell them i'm in a hurry because i'm so horny.
and when i finally get up to the desk i'm rude, obnoxious, and insulting to the officer...that always seems to speed up the process.

if you fly business class (or first, maybe?) go to the extreme right of the parfade of counters as there are two fast lane access: one for crew/diplomatic and business class and one for first class and fast track pass holders

Its a policy they implemented a few months ago I believe. Lets hope it doesnt catch on.
