Rio de Janeiro Reports

Thanks for the replies Tonyels and Lonzof. I'll check out the Tijuca prives tomorrow and if they're closed too or nothing entices me there, will head back to Rio Branco 156/181/185. Speaking of which, here's my report of my last visit there a few days ago.

Shortly after arriving into town went to Bel Prazer. Got there after 6 on a weekday and the place was busy. Saw several local mongers coming and going while I was waiting for presentation. 5 girls were presented, a few others were busy. I found only 1 to my liking. Alice, and chose her. There may not be a lot of stunners, but when you find one (which happens if you visit a few places) , she's usually new, not yet jaded, and you can build a good customer-provider relationships before she "blows up" and maybe moves up to an upscale T. You just have to visit a few regularly and you're bound to find 1 girl you think is really hot, at bargain prices.

If you didn't run into a lot of mulattas, you just had bad luck. They're all over in varying shades.

It's still being observed / targeted by the cops, and that just makes me super uncomfortable.

Gringo pricing is in effect all over Brazil. Did you see my recent report on Gruta Azul in PA? I got quoted R$600 while my Brazilian colleague got quoted R$250. The good thing is the centro prives are super concentrated on Rio branco and nearby. You can visit a dozen in about 2 hours. Note the ones you like and then return more leisurely.

I was surprised that the facilities in most were way inferior to the Sampa clinicas, night and day different. But in Sampa they are spread out so you can't jump around and window shop. In Rio centro you can. I prefer window shopping option.
