I have lived in Korea since 2019 and that left side was empty even then. I also came to Korea as a tourist in 2018 and I can't recall seeing any of those spots open. I believe a lot of those Hooker Hill spots died down when the American military was relocated outside Yongsan and into Osan or Pyeongtaek. That cut down on a lot of the Hooker Hill traffic, which mostly catered to foreigners. As the ladies get older without any new ones taking their place, it also becomes harder to attract new clients who may be looking for younger women.

The hotel on the left side of the hill shut down in 2020, and that was indeed due to COVID. I used to go there often in 2020 for hookups. There also used to be a hotel above Thursday Party (going up the stairs on the left side), which I believe has closed as well.

We are automatically categorized as outsiders even among foreigners and we are assumed to be fat, ugly, smelly, hairy, miserable, mean, etc.
