Dubai Reports

This scouting report was written by Bar Crawler. I suggest, and he agreed, to post here as it does contain some useful info (IMHO, anyway; after all, I was with him).

I had my regular Friday booked with Miss Day Job, starting after lunch so given my recover time at my age I was not looking to pull but I was in the mood to have a good scout.. 11Bravo was also, unusually for a Thursday, free so we arranged to meet up

I arrived a little earlier than planned due to the lighter summer traffic. I ordered a beer and settled down to wait for 11B. A nicely dressed PRC caught my eye just as I get approached by her friend, a plain looking girl in glasses. Plain girl is very pleasant and speaks good English. We chat for a while and she tells me her friend had only been in Dubai two days. At this point Miss New did seem like a fish out of water. 11B arrived, he gets approached by Miss New, and she seemed to have passable English given her alleged recent arrival. No deals are struck.

There were certainly quite a few over the hill old CIS broilers. Unusually a blond really stood out for me (think Paris Hilton without the dog). There were also a three of four very passable PRCs. Later a quartet of pleasant looking ‘Stanis arrived, I remarked on these in my last report on Jockey’s, one is certainly near the centre of my zone of interest, should I ever find time in my schedule.

A bit of a dispute develops between Miss New and Olga, the Fat Controller. The FC is well out of order, but she calls the security. Fortunately a gentleman steps in and ensures that the security guy is aware what was happening. If Miss New is indeed new, she is certainly plucky. (and another in my zone of interest)

[b]Imperial Suites 9:45 to 11:15[/b]

Next stop, the Imperial, It’s been a long time since either of us has been there. It has retained all of its “piano bar ambiance.” There was some suggestion else where that refugees from the York were now using the Imperial as their main office. The Imperial has certainly bounced back. I did recognise a few ex York girls. There were quite a few nice PRC,s and number of quite scantily clad CIS, they did not float my boat but YMMV and few Afiicans. I one point I spot "Paris" who had obviously given up on Jockey's

I was interviewed by a few PRC’s, one had a real Cyclone Rack (Miss CR) and seemed very nice. There were several I could have easily pulled. Later 11B homed in on Miss CR and scored a phone number. While he was doing this I interviewed her friend, also well endowed, she was also very tempting, as was a very cute girl in orange. Unfortunately Miss Orange did not speak English well enough to make it worth taking a phone number as she would have been my first choice.

I headed home for an early night but find my self wide awake and typing this post.

The Imperial has bounced back, and has absorbed some of the PRC’s that would previously been found at the York, it is worth a visit, and Jockey’s had a few diamonds in the rough. I find it hard to see how some posters (mostly on other forums) find it hard to find a girl. Many say that they don’t have time to visit a bar but with in the first hour there were at least ten girls I could have walked out with, and four that are on a definite “to do” list if, time, money and energy permit. I do not target the A list but I don’t think I would consider “mingers” either. A visit to the Cyclone would find better looking PRC and Rocafellas better CIS but there is still plenty out there in the Golden Triangle for those willing to go and have a look.

At Imperial, could easily have pulled 6 or 8 PRC's. Did get 1 number there which [b]WILL[/b] be used [u]shortly[/u]. Certainly worth a return visit, especially on a non-Thursday next time.

For those with limited time, the below can be skipped; a basic reiteration of BC's report.

[b]From my Viewpoint, Thursday night[/b]

[b]Jockey's, 8:45 - 9:30[/b], no entrance fee
Arrived, crowded, but not packed; room to move even if you were left standing in the ever shrinking "corridors of passage". Poor M/F ratio, but a lot of punters only there to drink. Diet Coke: 15 dhs

Miss Glasses not a looker, but certainly seemed feisty in her own way, and very well could be a lot of fun. Very good english would no doubt enhance the experience. Miss New very nicely attired in a chinese cut dress, way above the usual common attire. If your fantasies included doing a chinese restaurant hostess... She too was not a shrinking violet when the fat b*tch CIS controller tried to muscle her out.

[b]LOT[/b] of CIS past-their-primes in residence. A lot were "not even with [u]YOUR[/u] dick". I wondered who exactly they would appeal to? The "Paris" CIS did stand head and shoulders above anyone else. And agree that the -stani quartet did make a stir in their wake as they passed. I particularly appreciated the trailing one with the pony tail.

The bad thing about Jockeys is, as BC mentioned to me, no matter where you stand, you are in the way. Also, the layout not condusive for room-wide sweeps of your wg radar, looking for targets of interest. Easy for a girl (or girls) to enter, then disappear into the maw of the masses. But given light traffic, would not rule it out for an early drink.

PRC's, number of CIS (large percentage over the hill), some -stanis, did not see any africans.

[b]Imperial, 9:30 - 11:15[/b], no entrance fee
Passed the ticket collector, no fee required. This on a Thursday, but relatively early. Imperial is one of those places that does have a discriminatory admission policy. Diet coke: 25 dhs.

Inside, not crowded at all. Immediately spotted a previous semi-regular from LONG time ago. Happy to see that she'd not been caught up in the LE sweeps. Later on she came over to say hi (damn if I could remember her name, but a [i]responsive[/i] girl, lot of fun). But she did not linger, knowing she fell into my UTD (used to do) category.

As BC mentioned, a quintet of scantily clad (several MUST have had [u]CLOAKS[/u] stashed in the hall) CIS "black russians" (i.e., not blonde) formed a wall in front of us. Think southern provinces, say Azerbaijan or the like. Enticingly clad, but a bit crude in their behavior (hell, this WAS Imperial).

Few africans floating around, only mildly annoying.

With respect to PRC's, 6-8 I could EASILY have taken home. One with a very appealing face (YMMV) seemed to disappear soon after I saw her, the CIS wall good AND bad: blocked us from any unwanted advances, but did limit movement. Don't know if she was pulled or simply moved to one of the other bars on-site. Eventually, we moved for a better view, but Miss Lost never reappeared.

As BC said, Miss CR, Miss Orange, a Miss Black,... any number made the cut. Contented myself with Miss CR's phone number.

As the evening wore on, M/F ratio deteriorated noticeably. To be expected on a Thursday night. The tradeoff was that more/different girls appeared. By 11:00, I was getting fed up with the "last lifeboat leaving" mentality, eyecandy not withstanding. Did not bother to check out the other on-site bars. Miss CR understood her worth, and hearing my "sorry, not tonight", had moved on like a pro. But she did raise her stock with me when, as I was leaving, she leaned in and asked me not to forget her.

All in all, an hour at either bar, and I would have had no problem in finding some desirable [i]company[/i] for the night. As BC said, not a-listers (though Miss CR could have moved office to Cyclone, no problem), but all had appealing traits [b]for me[/b]. Worth a return visit; if only I could solve the "not a hike" parking problem (damn, I do miss the dirt lot just past Jockey's).

Reading some of my pm's, here are some general guidelines that newbies MIGHT find useful:

How much cash you'll need for [i]entertainment[/i] all depends on WHO you want to pull, how much you want to drink, where you want to go. Reading the forum, you'll get the idea of prices paid. But it really comes down to the girl and the market of the moment.

Again, all depends on your tastes, and who you are looking for. Cyclone good for some CIS, top rank PRC's. Rockafellas for CIS. Premiere for CIS.

Best way is to read, especially the Reports of Distinction thread. Those guidelines, for the most part, have stood the test of time.

I'd say there are any NUMBER of places NOT mentioned here. PLEASE, go out and try, and write an FR on your experiences. But for [i]safety[/i], stick with the often reported venues. There's a reason they are often reported on... and it's NOT failure rates.

How ever much she thinks she can successfully charge you. Again, all depends on the girl, the location...

You want unhumanitarian? Bombing a civilian population is unhumanitarian. A wg turning you down? She's doing you A FAVOR!!! How much fun would it be if she said yes, but REALLY didn't want to. You CAN try and convince her otherwise, but myself, I just move on. That's just me, known for taking the easy way out.

Am I discriminated against? You bet! Age. Hard to believe, but some 20-somethings just don't want to go with someone old enough to be their father. I'm usually crushed, but I manage to get over it in about a microsecond.

Think French Canadia/Piper had it spot on: there is a LARGE sub-continent labor force here. EVERYWHERE you go, you will see them (name me one place in dxb that does not have construction going on!!!). The wg's I know have said their criteria is:
1) financial
2) financial
3) safety

However, STATISTICALLY speaking, given the sub-continent labor divisions, someone from the sub-continent WILL be associated with lower pay (hell, Miss T used to give a discount rate to Indians as she knew they made less money, GENERALLY, then whites). Just in from Regal and Imperial Suites. The suites are back, taken over from where Jockeys left off. Plenty of variety at resonable prices. Ranges from PRC through CIS amd African. 300 - 500 going rate for LT against similar quality at regal for 500 - 700 (talking CIS here not PRC/Black).

Stil prefer the Regal though, better entertainment and not being bumped by sweaty sub continent beer bellies. Getting myself back on topic: I popped into York again last Friday night. Should be a quiet night, but it wasn't. Obviously things are picking up again - although I wasn't picking up that night. Later in the night, my driver (Miss W) collected me, and we went to a private party (an ex-monger mate and his GF). What a night.

Was reading all the comments on racism is dubai. It is there, you cannot escape it. But, not to the extent people think it is.

Personally, I am half Indian, half Aussie. Yes, I have been refused in the past due to skin colour(I dont flash my birth certificate while mongering), but good experiences outweigh the bad ones. Also it is not all due to race, girls do have their preferences, just the way we have when pulling. In fact, my regular has a marked aversion to older guys. I am not going to quote her, but in essence, she prefers people who will be ... well, stiff in the right places; not just one, mind you. Dont really know about PRC's, but above views apply to the Russians and Stanis.

Look around, play a bit, and they will know you, at least know whether you can afford to pay. That, essentially is the bottom line..most of the time.

But given I can never remember, there are any number of freeware/shareware/donateware programs around that will clean any number of [i]leftover[/i] tracks. One I happen to use is:

Very customize-able. Good help file explaining the options. Once you have it set up the way you want, it will do what you what when you want, either by running manually or can set to run automatically.

One last comment on "racism".

1. Prostitution is ILLEGAL here. Hell, sex outside marriage is illegal here (OK, rarely enforced, but...) Point is, it's not like the girl can go to the police if she has trouble with a client.

2. Girls are not locals. So they don't have any [i]sympathy[/i] from fellow countrymen, or same ethnic group, working in LE.

Result: they have to take care of themselves, and be cautious.
