Fortaleza

A little update on the situation in Fortaleza.

GENERAL:
* It´s very hot. In January it has been raining more than usual.
* There are lots of brazilian tourists in Fortaleza. Among the gringos the italianos are in big majority.
* Apartment prices goes from more or less R$70 for a nice apartment in good location.

PRO-SCENE, NIGHT-TIME:
* PRICES: Many girls ask for R$100-150. Some gold-diggers might even ask for R$200. Negotiate and don´t pay more than maximum R$100. If it´s a short-time go for R$70.
* "Ho-crossing", discotecas: Cafe del Mar and Forro & Mambo. I find visiting Cafe del Mar to be unnecessary as most girls end up in Forro & Mambo later on. F & M, no entrance fee, but R$15 minimum consumption. F & M is a fun place with lots of girls. Very mixed quality, everything from the stunners to the fuglies.
(Note: I noticed that many gringos, specially the italians, are eager to impress the girls buying overpriced roses and junk from the street vendors. OK, but why buying beer for the girls in F & M? F & M gives free beer to the girls until 2 AM. Throwing away money...)
* "Ho-crossing", bars: The Reggae Bar, Party house, Kaipiras and a few other bars. The Reggaebar is one of my favourites. From here you have a total control of all the girls that arrives in the ho-crossing. Another plus is the beer price, R$5 for a 600 ml beer (even Bohemia) instead of paying ~R$9 for a longneck at the other places.
* "Ho-crossing", nearby: Zipi Bar. Zipi Bar starts earlier than the other places. R$10 entrande that includes a beer or a drink. Zipi is easygoing and relaxed. A nice staff with some nice women working behind the bar. The girls come her as a first stop. Propably the best place in Iracema to get a good deal for a session. However, some of the stunners don´t pass by Zipi, they go directly to F & M.
* Armazem: Wednesdays is the ho-night. The usual GP´s from Iracema and "once-a-week-pro's". Nice place with a feeling of being in a "normal place". Just don´t fool yourself, almost all the girls are pro´s.
* Crocobeach: Thursday evening is the party evening. Lots of people partying. Many GP´s and usually easy to find a non-pro. It has gone downhill a little bit.

PRO-SCENE, DAY-TIME, CENTRO:
* Praça dos Martires: Maybe a dozen women hanging out. None is doable. Old, ugly, fat or drugaddicts.
* The market-square on Rua General Sampaio. Search and you´ll find pro´s. Very low quality.
* Espaço Show: Praça dos Martires. The action starts around 3 PM. No entrance fee and no minimum consumption (even though the fat guy at the door says it's R$10). The place is low-end. A dozen girls. Maybe one or two might be doable, but the majority are just 3's and 4's. Programa is R$50/hour and R$10/motel room. The striptease is quite entertaining. The girls choose a couple of guys that gets the chance of doing some touching and licking.
* Sensual Show: Rua Floriano Peixoto 1326. A daytime privé. When I visted there where 8 girls working. All of them where busy stuffing rice and faroffa into their mouths using their fingers, not very appealing. I didn´t see any tempting girls at all. R$60/30 minutes or R$70/1 hour.

PRO-SCENE, BEACH:
* The days are gone when you could meet a lot of nice GP´s at Croco Beach during day-time. There are very few GP´s hanging out.
* Beira-Mar: The beach and the barracas in front of McDonalds. Always a bunch of GP´s hanging around. Very mixed quality. Lots of just barely doable girls and a few gems if you´re lucky.

PRO-SCENE, OTHER:
* I have no desire spending a lot of money on Iracema-GP´s. Specially not competing with italians that seems to pay whatever the girls ask for. The last week I picked three GP´s in Beira-Mar during the afternoons. On the beach and on the sidewalk-area. Girls that normally works at Forró & Mambo. Chat them up, get a good chemistry and give them their offer. I payed them R$20, R$30 and R$40 for 2-pops-sessions. i know that might sound awfully little, but they all left happy.

NON-PRO-SCENE:
* Fortaleza has a good night-life.
I strongly recommend Mucuripe Club on Fridays. Huge place, 4 pistas and lots of people. Mostly white middle- and upperclass girls. Lots of welldressed beautiful women. About 80% of the women are doable.
Entrance R$ 30. Beer R$ 4,5-5.

* Dragao do Mar: A couple of nice bars with ideal to meet non-pro´s.
* If you give Fortaleza a chance you´ll notice that it´s easy to hook up with non-pro´s. Girls with much higher standard than the GP´s.
* Where to meet the non-pro´s: You´ll meet them in centro, buses, markets, on the beach or when strolling in Iracema or Beira Mar. Local girls or tourist girls from Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilia or BH.

FINAL NOTES:
* In Fortaleza you´ll meet a lot of stunning women, but be prepared for the opposite as well. There are lots of unattractive women as well. Short, chubby, big-bellied women with round or very squared heads glued directly on to their shoulders. Girls with necks are scarce.
* My advice: Meet a few nice non-pro´s. Get excellent sex for free with hot girls. Use the GP´s only when necessary.

Most girls asking for R$150 quickly go down to R$100. A bit of negotiating and you might get the price down to R$70.

The girls that are hardest to negotiate are the absolut stunners that knows that they will get a high-paying customer, and also some of the ugly squared-headed ones. The squared-heads have almost no customers so they use brazilian logic and raise their price to earn more money.

Regarding the time-limit it depends very much on the girl and at what time you pick her. If she sees a chance to return to Mambo after your session she might not want to spend more than a couple of hours.

Yesterday I picked a nice girl at Zipi. She was asking for R$150 but we agreed on R$60 for a 2 hour session. 2 pops including anal and BBBJTCWS.

Spero, first thanks for the very good report update on Fortaleza. Pretty much how I found things to be this trip, but with fewer nicer semi-pro girls.

Since when has this been adopted? Or do they simply get a voucher for 1 or 2 drinks? Anyone else confirm this? Next time maybe I'll get them to buy me a few drinks.

As I understood they can get pretty much as many beers they want until 2 AM, without vouchers. I think Café del Mar has the same rule.

It's good policy as it attracts many girls and the girls are not asking so much about you buying drinks for them. The guys have to pay R$8 + 10% for a longneck Antarctica. I thought of offering the girls R$5 for them getting me beers.

Comparing Fortaleza and Rio might be like comparing oranges and apples, as they are two very different cities.

Fortaleza is a pleasant city. Lots of beaches, nice restaurants and quite a compact city. Still it's not comparible with Rio when it comes to beauty, atmosphere, beach-life, shopping etc.

Fortaleza is a good city for meeting non-pro's. It also a safer city than Rio.

MONGERING:

The mongering scene in Fortaleza and the quality of the girls isn't what it used to be. The mongering scene is quite limited to SW in Beira Mar and Zipi, Cafe del Mar and Forró Mambo. Nonetheless I much rather monger in Iracema than hanging out at Balcony or the Prado Junior area in Copacabana.

The quality in Fortaleza is very mixed with cuties, pumpkin-heads and chubbies. You don't have the variety that you'll find in Rio with lots of dark meat. I rather choose a mulatta with a round ass than a shorty without a neck. Still there are enough of cute girls in Fortaleza to keep you busy.

The girls in Fortaleza are less hardcore than the Copacabana girls. They have a sweeter and more amateurish approach. Easier to get GFE with a Iracema girl than with a hardened Balcony-pro.

When it comes to day-time action Rio wins without doubt.

Pricewise Fortaleza wins. If you get a Balcony girl for R$100 you are supposed to be quite happy. In Fortaleza most girls start the bargaining with R$100 and you can get the price down to about R$70. Even less if you pick her daytime at the beach.

I like both Fortaleza and Rio. I would never choose to monger in just one city. Yet Rio suits me better as I prefer daytime mongering.

Tomorrow I'll be off to Bahia. Mulattas and negras with lovely round chocolate-bundas. Yummy!

I also noticed that the daytime beach scene at Praia de Futuro beaches has few or no GDPs. I noticed this my last 2 trips. In Nov 2008 and Nov 2010. Not sure what caused it. In 2008 I asked one of the daytime vendors at the beach about it and he said there was a crackdown on GDPs at the beach daytime. He was the only one who said that though. Anyone have anymore info on this topic from someone in the know? By the way, someone told me that Boa Vida beach in Praia de Futuro has daytime beach GDP action (I think Boa Vida is near Coco Beach). Is it true that Boa Vida has GDPs daytime? If so, wonder why that is the only beach with daytime action. The current daytime beach scene is pretty sad, as having available GDPs at the beaches daytime in my first two trips to Fortaleza (2003 and 2005) added a lot of spice and fun to the trip.

Regarding the Meirelles early evening action in the barracas across from McDonald. I noticed in my Nov 2008 trip there were fewer GDPs there than in my past trips. In my latest trip in Nov 2010, I noticed more GDPs there than the previous time, but the quality (looks) of the girls was much worse than in the past. Just my humble opinion.

It might be necessary for me to spend a couple of days near Sao Paulo, and then hop on an airplane to the north. The only time possible is around Easter, so my question to the experts: is it "alta temporada", packed with (Brazilian) tourists? Would hotels only offer paquotes as they do for Dec 31st / Jan 1st?

Going to Fortaleza in April. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel thats girl friendly in fortaleza that is in a great location? Any info would be appreciated.

Gv[/QUOTE]As always personally I'd recommend the Hotel Americas, a smaller hotel which is a bit old fashioned (colonial style). Just across the street you have the Hotel Casa Blance, more modern, rooms are a bit more expensive.

I payed like R$ 80 or 100 per night, no extra fee for the girls. But this was three yeas ago.

Both are in a walking distance to the Iracema bars.

Maybe I am there too. Again I'd like to ask the experts how is the situation around Easter?
