You get what you pay for.

While you may find the occasional student hard up for cash to pay the tax or something, the hot 21 year old who wants to go home and screw your brains out for a loaf of bread are very few, and very far between.

From countless visits to providers, meeting street girls, gypsies, drug addicts I think the proper price for a decent girl is 200 ron an hour. i was in bucharest in december and tried three massage places.

So, never ever accept a taxi ride to a 'great place' recommended by a driver! Instead it is most essential to know exactly the place and address where you would like to go. Check the 'Bucharest Nightlife Guide' for bars, pubs or massage parlors. You find it in any hotel and it provides you with excellent information including location and telephone number!

Bucharest is full of pros. I live close to Piata Romana, if I just go out immediately somebody tries to stop me and offer a girl. They start negotiating from 100€.

I second your assessment on Bucharest's pros, but I would like to add the following remarks:

Yes, there are indeed many pimps and freelancers on the streets close to Piata Romana, but their rate (100 Euro for one hour) is far too high, at least in a country like Romania. Be assured: in Italy you get a better program for 30-50 Euro!

Be careful since most of these freelancers who are waiting in front of MacDonald's look somehow sick!
