Taking pictures in Bangkok
...
Everyone: I had kind of assumed from reading posts that enough WLs said yes to video that anyone could get visual souvenirs by just continually asking if 'click-click is on the menu' - or maybe by having a tripod set up next to the bed, and discuss it when the lady is in your room.
Am I mistaken? Is it actually quite rare (or at least for those women you want to remember, and look at photos of later)?
Does offering an extra tip help convince many who are resistant at first (and how much)?
I don't think I morally agree with filming without consent, but had planned on coming back with some video for later perusal, and lots of pics for the forum, so morality may lose out in the end.
You're probably not mistaken and can find willing WL models with a little effort. I've taken pictures on previous visits some of which can be found in the Photo Gallery and/or it's archives. Don't know the law in Thailand, but it may well be that nudity is illegal, as is prostitution. LE doesn't seem to actively pursue, but some discretion may be advisable.
Being a tourist, I carry a camera with me at all times. If you're in Soi Cowboy as bars are opening at 4PM, you may find photo ops as I have. If the bar isn't crowded and you're the first customer, the girls may happily trade topless pics for the purchase of drinks. If you're the type of monger that gripes and groans at paying 1500 baht for ST, you'll probably choke and gag at the thought of paying for just pictures. The choice is yours, but I've found it to be good entertainment for the money.
You may also have likely success at Beergarden on Soi 7. Let the girl of choice know you're interested in ST AND pictures and she may not charge extra. From my experience no hidden cameras or deception is necessary. MPs tend to be more problematic, but not impossible with some discretion.
There's entirely too few honest and uncensored images of providers in the Thailand Photo Gallery. I'm hoping you'll share some of yours when you get the chance.
Photo posting requirements
... pics of normal girls can be posted here but hide the identity.
Franco, I don't know you but I'm guessing you are or will be becoming an occasional visitor to Thailand and will be expending much time and finance in doing so. I would think it'd be a shame if you were buffaloed into taking less interesting "visual souvenirs" as a result of bad advice from this board. I may get some flack for saying this there does seem to be a local old hand cohort here that does whatever they can to discourage the taking and display of honest and uncensored provider images. One such old hand (probably NOT the one quoted above), had indicated that he lives and works in Thailand teaching students of which some were progeny of Thailand's elite. As you might imagine his pictures were heavily censored, and given his position I can respect this. But as a tourist this a bad attitude you need not adopt.
As far as posting here goes: THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO HIDE IDENTITY, AND THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO AVOID NUDITY. This is InternationalSexGuide and mongers as you and I will come here to get an honest view of what providers may be available. Kaintuck's images and mine should be examples of this already posted here. I'm hoping you'll help us out and post even better images when you come.
THANKS to Crypton, Sunlover2, and Bkk Rookie
You guys were a great help. I leave soon, and will keep in mind all that you have told me. Glad to hear that nana is so close!
One last question. If I take a tuk tuk or taxi to soi cowboy, do I just say "soi cowboy"?
