If I only had 1 shot, and didn't speak much Portuguese, I would go to Monte Carlo. It's easy to find, the manager (Ivan. Pronounced, ee-vahn) speaks English, and there are a fair number of girls who speak English. Maybe some darker / mulattas that aren't to your taste, but a reasonable selecton.

If you do speak Porto, you could try your luck at 4x4 but I think it will be more challenging for you and not as rewarding, even if cheaper.

It was in fact my first spot in Rio ever and it is friendly and the girls in general good value. Make sure you let them know what you expect from them and agree upfront to ensure this 1 shot turns into 3 shots! LOL. Also providing you had a good time, get their number and arrange to meet them on the Sunday. If they don't have kids they will. Even if they do have kids, grandma could babysit while they get some gringo money. Go to Motel Panda in Botafogo for 4 hrs (cheap rate) with them and wild out sir. Enjoy. Centaurus could also be a blast for a one-off. Its expensive and many girls are v hungry up in there + staff highly irritating but. Level and type of girls you prefer is very high, many speak english and hold a convo v well, light skinned galore and as long as you agree what you want, rock and roll!

4 x 4 have many as well and if you get your chosen one to grab one of their friends to translate, you could go hard there too.

My wife and I just got into Rio and we were hoping to hit a few terms together, obviously my wife loves the ladies and enjoys watching me with other women, a tough spot to be in I know.
