Grace Hotel is on Soi 3.

So, I'll be arriving in BKK this Sunday, just before midnight.

Want to drop the luggage off at my hotel and hit the action without losing a night.

Will try the later bars (tunnel, bed, etc) but wanted to know if they're still good on a Sunday night- late into the night.

Gogo's close early- might try to check a few out before they close also.

Any Sunday night partakers want to chime in on the best action for this day?

Traffic along Sukhumvit is terrible at night. For those wanting to get to Nana and looking to avoid the taxi come-on, upsell, etc, if you ask a taxi for JW Marriott on Soi 2 you can save money and time. The drivers know the shortcut into JW parking lot, know they can get you in and out without losing money stuck in traffic and are less likely to try to sell you on their sponsored bar or massage parlor.

A friend preached this to me for years and I ignored it. Now, it's a standard play and has worked very well for me. Wished I would have converted earlier.

Some survival hints:

1) Always demand the driver use the meter. They all understand the word "meter. " If he takes off and refuses to use the meter, ask to get out. That failing, pay him whatever you want when you get to your destination and dare him to call the cops. 100 baht is a long-long taxi ride.

2) Soi Cowboy is open every night. Don't let the driver tell you otherwise. Don't let him take you some other place. Get a gander of a photo of Soi Cowboy, with all the neon signs, so you know he took you to the right location.

3) If the driver wants to come inside with you, you are at the wrong location. He is seeking a commission.

4) Consider taking the BTS to Soi Cowboy. Walk from Nana Entertainment to the Nana BTS station, ride the train to Asoke (one-stop) and then walk as if you're going to connect on the subway. Go through the metal detectors and go down into the sub station, however, instead of taking the final escalator to the trains, come up the other side, (Two up-escalators) and turn right 20 meters. It can save a lot of time when traffic is bad. Or, just walk the miracle mile that is Sukhumvit. If you want to experience the touts, walk on the odd Soi side, if you want less hassle, walk on the even side. (I'm a fat old bastard and I walk damn near everywhere, so it's not so bad.)

I see the discussion of pictures has come up yet again. As usual the most important key points are deliberately ignored by the local Bangkok cohort that sanctimoniously rails against adult photography. These ladies are in business and will negotiate for modeling just as they will for other services. Let's not pretend that it's surprising that they'll often prefer to weather the effects of photons reflected off them being captured by a camera, as opposed to another round of being ravaged up the ass by a potentially HIV loaded penis. I'm sure that after this cohort is done congratulating themselves for saving faces that neither want nor need their help, they'll be going right back to their usual routines of publishing names, addresses, (also likely phone numbers and email addresses in private messages), and a full list of prices and services of all the "faces" they'd protect from photographs.

I should have been more clear. I oppose posting photos of ladies who didn't know (1) the photos were being taken, or (2) they would be shared on the Internet.

I'm asked at least once a month by some lady or another to search to see if any photos of her are up on the net. These ladies really worry about it, mostly because they are lookers and know their photos make good trophies.

That is my simple point.

For positional context, as you exit the Aspen, you will want to turn left to follow the line. When you get to Annies Soapy, turn right and walk down the side street, it's open to foot traffic. That side street t-bones Soi 4. Turn left, walk 100 meters or so to Nana Entertainment Plaza. You'll see it when you get there.

My suggestion.

Go around 5 pm and sit in one of the open air bars near the entrance. Big Dogs is my favorite. Watch the talent coming to work. Ignore the girls in the bar (or not, up to you) and just get acclimated. It's a lot of fun.

Were I you, my first stop in Nana would be Mandarins at around 8pm. Go up the escalator, then past the touts to walk UPSTAIRS to the second floor of the Mandarin bar. Early in the night are loads of girls. Small and young in one dance shift (topless) and tall and exotic in the other.

Lots of girls are happy to let you take naughty pictures and make naughty films, just ask her before you bar fine her. Don't wait until you get to the room since then she will say no.

The really hot chicks are a bit reluctant for nude and sex pics, but the less hot ones are usually happy to allow it.

Take the type of pictures and movies that you like for your own souvenirs of the trip, and then share the pictures that you think are good pictures. Ignore made up rules by the player haters about what pics are allowed and not allowed, only rules of the picture gallery are those set out by Jackson on the forums front page.

Photo Gallery is the best feature of ISG, and is what keeps the forum going since that is why people subscribe and how Jackson makes his money, so picture contributions are very important.

Look forward to seeing your holiday snaps in your return from LOS. I always make an effort to upload a few select pics from my trips since I enjoy checking out the contributions of other members and therefore want to add my own as well.

I return Bangkok after the last visit in 2009. This November, 2010 trip still I stay at the Majestic suites and paid an extra 80baht for a room in the back after I realised front room 603 has Noisy traffic at night. The NEP. Scene has now less customers due to clean up vacated all Bars in the middle of compound? Or maybe the baht rising against USD? Exchange rate is a Bad enough 1usd = 29 baht and heading south!

I Am No economist, but, I predict 1usd will eventually gets around 26 baht a year from now.

For MP. I am happy with all the Visits with my favourites places Annie's and others.

Soi Cowboy also has downturn 10% less mongers there.

Overall, Bangkok is still stand great on my list for adult entertainment.

They've extended the skytrain walkway, so these days you can walk above the big intersection and go down the stairs on the other side. Whoever did those stairs wasn't having a good day though. Some are a bit off.

I know Cambodia is only a few hours away by car/bus from Bangkok, but I have no plans for the moment to go to Cambodia and I wonder if there is anywhere in Bangkok where I can find brothels, massage parlors, traditional massage shops or other places to meet young, legal of course, ladies from Cambodia for short time meetings.

Young ladies from the neighbouring countries are working in Thailand. One month ago my wife and I went a couple of times and had traditional massage from Burmese ladies in a massage shop on soi 11, near Federal hotel. And last year I had many good short time meetings with a lady from Laos whom I met at Thermae.

But what about ladies from Cambodia? Where can I find them in Bangkok?

Yes, very true, you can go that route as well, going towars the second level of the building with all the Citibank signs. Lazy bastard that I am, the chance to use of an escalator or two drives my decision as to which way to go.
