Haven't been out and about or even reported on this forum for a while. Went to the Seaview around 11:00 pm the day before Eid and was quite pleased with the varied array of lovely ladies that were available, all suitably keeping to their own within their own little corners, somewhat akin to a mini UN. The booking. Com site was advertising Regal rooms for AED 1000. 00 this wek! WTF, not worth it. Anyway I had the itch so off I went without booking a room – although I promised myself never to bring a WG to my apartment due to a past WoS experience with the Security Guards.

Decent TV, cinema, concerts. Buying alcohol, either from the package store or arrivals duty free, no problem. Plenty of places to get a legal drink. Plenty of bars and clubs. Plenty of women. In your own abode, nobody bothers you. It's like back home with the thermostat turned on [b]HIGH[/b]. You can forget where you are... Until... You just forget... Do something you THINK is innocuous, and BAM, reality hits.

The reason the "Italian" story stuck with me, it's not JUST the fine. I've never seen a courtroom on this side of airport immigration, so figure you're missing your flight (hope it's a 1st or business class ticket for rebooking). You're in jail for at least a couple of hours, maybe a night, maybe a couple nights if it's a weekend. If I was going to court, I'd want a lawyer; safe assumption they're not free. Maybe the arraignment and trial can be held same time (anyone know?). If not, you're surrendering your passport to the court until trial, and a "hold" (as in can't leave the country) is placed on you in their database (there's been Gulf News reports of people trying to leave where a hold was erroneously not removed, so no exit). Hopefully, you're not waiting in jail, but if you're a visitor, then you're paying for a hotel, which aren't cheap (well, maybe that Diera 1 star, but...) Rearranging life at work... Settle the fine, passport returned, hopefully the hold removed. Think there's a lot more expenses than "just" the fine...

And if you're really not a true [u]bachelor[/u], all that could be the least of your problems...

I have RTFF for number of times still could not find many reports regarding Four points sheraton in Bur Dubai (bank street). It flip flops from green to not so green often. I will appreciate any news about the hotel. I will be there during Sep 14th to Sep 17th. I will update when it is my turn.

I went to Ratsky Saturday night at around 11 pm. Not too crowded. Waited for about half an hour but the girls were very mediocre. Nothing above 6. I had already rented a room in Crowne Plaza so didn't want to waste too much time. Talked to a girl called Joy who seemed a 6. Settled for AED 600 full night and took her to the hotel. My usual spot is Sheraton Creek. At the Creek, if you are walking in with a girl they will not even look at you, but if the girl is on her own they will ask for I D and make you come down and get her.
