I wonder if anyone reads my Posts here or elsewhere in my Forum. I asked this when in the Phils ten days ago to a couple of my fellow Davao Team pals who post regularly on the PI Boards. They responded, "yes, the guys giving advice on the old Davao Board. They just repeat what you say here". Well good for them.

In any event on the outside chance that someone does read my Posts, I have a few comments. First and foremost, no matter what your luck has been in the past with the ladies follow the same words I live by: "Life is like a paperback novel. When you fininsh one, you throw it away and begina new one". You come to Davao City and you begin your new "paperback novel". Never had a drop dead gorgeous woman in your life! Well that is about to change.

During my younger athlete/ballplaying days I stood my same 6'4" and weighed 190#. I always had spending money and I looked good by aolmost anyone's standards. I was not bad with the ladies but I was far from great. In no way on earth did I have a single woman anywhere near as hot as my Jen, whom I met here last September 2006. She has been a main staple in my life ever since. I have had at least a dozen other ladies who are at least as hot looking and good or better at fucking than any woman I had throughout my 20's or 30's.

Plain and simple it is easy, very easy to meet women here in Davao. I am not talking about the pros in the Clubs either but the regular girls you meet here. While at dinner with GE and his Lady three weeks ago here I noticed a guy at another table. He had to be at least 68 and looked at least 75. Not a handsome or healthy 68 either. Just an old, ugly geezer. Yet he had this, "oh my hard dick", gorgeous Davao lady who could not have been more than 22. On a 1-10 I give her a 9.3 any day of the week.

Henny said they had been in together a few times and that they were staying at the Marco Polo. Not a pro, this was his lady. When I speak of this to the guys back here in my City they all think I am making it up for entertainment value. Perhaps you do also. Well I will be back shortly and I will have the gorgeous Stalker at my side part of the time, my lovely Jen a lot of the time and a few other ladies here. Feel free to hang with the Slayer as he embarks on a "pussy hunting evening escapade".

As a long time visitor to Davao for work and play, 36 total NAIA passport stamps since 1999 I have a fairly jaded view of the main cities we mongers visit from AC at the top to Zambuanga at the bottom. Perspective: Davao by geography is the largest city in the world, take a hour and a half to leave the Ecoland bus terminal on to Cagayan De Oro to exit the city limits. Rodrigo Duterte, mayor rules with a iron clad fist have seen blood trail from his death squads as that are gingerly referred to. Literally seeing fresh blood on the sidewalk from the previous night gunning of a drug dealer. His three strikes law is pretty cool making the city safe for foreigners. So first if you into safety then Davao is a up and coming option to Cebu that long has catered to mongering citizens from all over and is probably 20 to 30 percent cheaper in cost of living. But the comment I wish to leave in the thread is the ease of which it is to pick up stunning women in Davao. Which is not easy. Yes occasionally you see the old geezer arm in arm with some Ate's cousin or mothers daughter but generally speaking the woman in Davao are transplanted province girls who come to the city as helpers or seeking fame and fortune from coastal cities like Mata & Gen Santos or in between. They are not highly educated and are generally working on bettering their English skills. But anything in the Phillippinesis available for enough pesos. The adage is certainly true beauty is in the eye of the beholder but in this travelers opinion the beautiful GF's are more centrally located in the Visayan region. Just my opinion!

Can you please add your comments on the peso to dollar decrease over the past 12 months? For someone seeing it last year at 56 to the now 46 makes China a better bang for female companion seekers. I travel every six months whether I like it or not from Daytona Beach as my wife likes it there (Davao) better thus the commute. If you can lend some insight as to the US election or whatever? I would appreciate it. The dollar has strengthened a bit yet still the slide in the PI.

The dollar slide is unusual. The US stock market has been doing quite good lately and this might explain part of the dollar climb against the peso recently. If you believe the politicos in the PI it is due to the improving Philippines economy versus the US economy. Personally, I think this is a lot of crap.

We have the ever increasing rise in oil prices and the still enormous dependence on oil here in the US. This and the Iraq mess would fuk anything up. The nly thing we can look to is that Japan, the # 2 economy in the world, is in a much worse situation.

Look at the price of gold. This is a sure indicator of the current situation. As long s interest rates do not move upward, I am an investor in the US Stock Market. Onc they start to climb, I am "out in a New York heartbeat".

China has seen its Yuan rise against the US dollar also. When last there in December I though I was just getting a lousy exchange rate at the Huang Gong Border crossing from HK to Shenzhen. China is still a bargain, especially if you first spend a few nights in Hong Kong, a city I love. Chinese women are awesome. I still regret having fucked up with my beautiful Shanghai Baby (see pics in old davao board from 2006).

I just spoke last evening with Lihong in Shanghai (owns an art gallery there; great fuck) and my Jun in Shuzhou (lovely, large tits). I plan to spend 3-4 nights in China this next Trip. I recommend it for the lovely, chinese pussy. Just take the time to learn some mandarin first so you can dine in restaurants and converse with taxi drivers.

Thanks DS you should be compensated for some of this genius you share with your readers here. The Peso slide was discussed in the Manila Bulletin which is highly jaded and unscientific with limited research outside the walls of the PI!

It was estimated by MB in October that the pesos would slide to pre millennium times of 42, hope that will not be the case. Many of the X pats we see here are on SS or Military pensions, in fact a article on another forum living in Cebu, had a poll that most respondents stated their income average was sub 2000.00 monthly in a straw poll (unscientific) so if thats the case thats a big hit for many. So that will limit the San Miguels numbers to Pale Pilsen..shit!! and end the 100 peso tips for a exceptional taxi drivers from airport to Ermita...oh well!

DS you sound like my type of tire kicking guy exchanging brilliant ideas about the PI and experiences. I must say I always see my Doctor upon any return from Asia for a sanity and hepatitis check especially after spending Philippine time.

Speaking further about Davao in general I prefer the Ecoland residential area for living purposes. It is walking distance to SM and has a safe track record. The question was posed in a earlier post as to where to live in Davao for what its worth.

This forum has very useful information for the casual traveler as well as the hard core seen it all whorist who is novice or expert. One difference I have seen from the economizer seeking one nite quick 200 RMB fuck to the dedicated GF seeker between China and the Philippines is that the mentality in the Philippines is still catholic, aspirin between knees shy, more pussy lubing time required compared to Chinas openminded rapid growth not so shy girls who are more outgoing ambitious and contemporary. So im with you on Hong Kong Shenzhen, Guandong white skinned chicks who can hold a conversation even if you stumble with Mandarin and they with their English barriers. So you are steering the right direction with your China girl!!

I'm not an economist and I don't pretend to have any particular expertise in the "dismal science." With that caveat, it seems to be the peso slide is largely attributable to two factors. First, the economy here is incapable of generating enough decent jobs to absorb its rapidly-expanding workforce. Therefore, there's an increasingly larger exodus of skilled workers to the developed world: the Gulf States, the US, the UK, Australia, etc. The remittances sent home by the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) increases exponentially every month, so the dollar holdings of the country increase dramatically too. This is actually due to a complete failure of the private economy, but it does allow the Government an enormous build up of foreign reserves. This factor, in turn, allows the Government sufficient hard currency revenues to pay down large portions of its enormous external debt, which in turn leads to improvements in the country's credit ratings, which in turn allows the Government to borrow at lower rates.

Of course, this could all change at any given moment. If the economies of Europe and/or the US stall, and the spigot of overseas workers is suddenly shut off, the economy here will implode in a New York minute and the dollar:peso rate will accelerate rapidly.

My own view is that the slide has gone about as far as it's going to go. If the negative publicity about "extra-judicial" killings persists, and the estimates of political risks increase, the slide will reverse quickly and the dollar will climb again over 50.

It's important to remember that this is a country eternally balanced on a knife edge. Right now, circumstances have conspired to make the economy look reasonably robust, but of course it's not and if any of the key variables change, which they will, the peso will start to lose strength.

Regarding Ecoland, as described by Sky Ward, I agree it's not a bad choice. For me, it's a little noisy, a little too crowded and with too little green space. On the other hand, it's convenient and it's very safe. It's also the location of Davao's first condominium.

As I read the posts recently and the discussion of the depreciating peso to dollar light went off about about what we use our money for in the Philippines in the first place. Once the basics are met food, shelter clothing then we see what discretionary funds are available luxury items. So is pussy a luxury item? Thats the question of the day?

I've been in Manila for the past few days, and was speaking to DS on the phone this morning while waiting for the flight back to the great city of Davao. As I mentioned to him, there was an article in today's Philippine Star about the fact that the remittances of overseas workers hit another all time high last month of $1.2 billion. The article confirmed what I said a couple of posts ago; that it's these remittances that are driving the upward spiral of the Peso.The people that it exports to overseas countries are now the Philippines' second largest export. Is that pathetic or what? It's estimated that, at any given time, about 20% of the population of the country is abroad, though I'm not sure if this includes the sex workers who go on short-term contracts to Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and elsewhere.

On another front, two bombs were set off in Davao del Sur yesterday killing 9 people. Davao del Sur by the way is a province and is not part of the City of Davao. Still, it's fairly close. Some asshole left a bomb in a knapsack on a bus that was on its way to Davao.

Finally we have photos in the Forum. A very lovely lady she is at that. I have tried to post photos of Bing ( in search of the "Great white Cock" she was), Stalker lady of Dava and more but I have been unsuccessful for some reason. I think I may have used up the allottment of photos for my ID here.

My pal Ed here in my City constantly uses the "Flys, Floats, Fucks" slogan. he does not do a good job of living up to it however. it's a beatiful night here in davao. the skies are clear and the temperature is about 27; perfect for a motorcycle ramble through the late-night streets. actually, the night didn't start out that way. we needed some medicines and hopped on the bike to go the the pharmacy down the road. however, it was 11:30 and the place was closed so we continued into town and decided, as long as we had gone that far, to head over to henny's place for a quick drink. there were only a few people hanging around drinking in el toro's, but someplace else, the bar next door was packed with yummy-looking twenty-somethings.

from henny's we headed up rizal and it was like the last night of mardi gras. hoards of people spilling out into the street from bar 183 and swag's and, as the school year has just begun, i have a sneaking suspicion that several (maybe most) of the young co-eds i saw were tuition-seekers, looking for a little "help" with the semester's first payment. there must have been 300-400 folks in the crowd and at least half were women.

then cruised down san pedro st., past the normal assortment of street hookers, trikes without lights, cars turning left from the right hand lane and bicycle riders with dark clothes and no lights or reflectors. a steady crowd entering and exiting hot legs ii, and lots of foreigners strolling along the street.

cut over to quirino, past additional hunting packs of hookers, and up j.p. laurel past the auto shop. for those who don't know, the auto shop is actually a collection of 10-15 small bars with outdoor drinking terraces, strung out along a narrow alleyway off of bajada (jp laurel). if there were 300-400 people hanging on rizal, there must have been twice that number and maybe more at the auto shop. the crowd here is younger and poorer, but no less enthusiastic for all of that. there are doubtless a lot of **** women at this place, so it's wise to be extra prudent, but it's a rich hunting ground for those tired of the normal bar scene.

after three nights and four days amidst the pollution, traffic and high decibel levels of manila, it was nice to cruise around a more reasonable, cleaner and enjoyable city.

GE told me about his latest Post. Only thing I can think of that he left out were the young pros on the doorstep down from Casa Leticia next to the Karaoke Club, the crowd that gathers around Ground Zero at the intersection of J Camus & Ilustre Sts and Venue Plaza. Venue Plaza gets women late at night at Halo's Club and in the large courtyard when the live band is playing. I would sit at the outside bar at Ralph's on the weekends checking out the scene.

I believe Bar 183 is in the area encompassing Rizal Promenade. GE will correct me if I am wrong. This area is good from 10:30PM till early morning. No point in showing up earlier as no one is there. Band starts to play around 10:30 and this draws the ladies hanging out there.

The end of summer definitely brings back the co-eds, teachers and student nurses. There will definitely be a lot more going on now than when I was here in May. This also holds for the other college towns that I visited in May. The one was quite dead and it was good that my Jen was with me.
